I went in twice to be styled for important events. I was not overwhelmed with the greeting at the front desk, at both appointments I waited over 20 mins for my stylist to begin working on my hair, she also booked other appointments during my appointment, she did not listen to what I asked for, she was rough on my hair and I was overcharged relative to the final product. The second style fell out before I even made it to the event merely 1.5 hours after finishing at the salon. Very disappointed with the caliber of service. The staff were also some what unprofessional.

The morning with the team was fun, relaxing and flawless. From my grandmother to our little nieces, both Thelma and Katie worked their magic to achieve age appropriate looks that lasted all night! Ladies!!! do your trials, at the time you are thinking.. "why am I doing this, I know what I want. It's simple and will be a breeze for them" and that may be the case but there are several ways to achieve the look you are going for and some ways may hold curl better, some ways may be less comfortable. Your hair is different than that Pinterest picture you've pinned which may require some extra steps and finesse" So always do your trail, it makes the hair stylist more comfortable, it ensures both bride and stylist are on one page and it makes for a very relaxing morning of the wedding! I got my highlights freshly done by Dayna at Taz and I couldn’t be happier! Dayna knows the trends of hair colors and styles, along with her great personality she makes me feel comfortable. She is friendly and educated which is important to me in a hairstylist. I have be going to Dayna for few years now and every time she brings me over to the sink to wash my hair she either presses the button or tells me where the button is to put my feet up which I love because it’s going that extra step every appointment I have with her to make sure I am at my most comfiest. She also gives great scalp massages! I will be in mid conversation and than just stop talking, the way she brings her palms on the side of your face and gently puts pressure on the side of your scalp, then brings her finger tips to the back of your neck just makes the experience bliss! I always look forward to my hair appointments because of the service dayna gives and the friendly staff that surrounds her! Xo

I can't wait to do my color too..if covid will ever let us get back to normal..but honestly if you want great hair products to buy or be used on you when having a haircut or haircolor done, go to Taz ????. They are genuine hair stylists with tons of experience and you can tell from how they move their hands when assessing your hair as well as when they cut and blow dry. If you pay attention you will see that they also use the products that your hair and scalp needs at that moment, not just because they want to charge you extra. Wonderful experience overall and I would recommend it 100%

She is an amazing colourist and my cuts last for months...as tested by the 4 months I was unable to get a cut due to the corona virus! Went here for a hair cut and color. I will never go back. She applied my color and went outside to smoke-up. Came back reeking of weed smell. She cut my hair HIGH! I should've walked out and saved my hair. She bunched my hair into a ponytail and chopped it off so obviously it's not going to be a straight cut and was having so much trouble getting it straight. It's shorter on one side than the other and not at all straight in the back and it bothers me so much. But if I let her keep going I'd have a pixie cut. Biggest mistake going here. So unprofessional.

Gave Taz a try about two years ago and they did a terrible job on my hair. Asked for my roots to be done and they definitely were not - also left my hair slightly orange (included picture). Never had this problem with other salons. When I called in, they said they "gave me what I asked for". Decided to give them a second chance two years later as their Facebook and Instagram pictures looked amazing (thought they may have improved). Long story short, they have NOT improved. After another almost $300, exact same hackjob had happened again (asked for my roots to be done and they definitely were barely touched - pictures also included). Fortunately, they were able to solve the issue this time which has left me satisfied. However, will definitely not be making the same mistake and going back.

I had the best experience using Taz for hair and make up on my wedding day. Thelma and Alek came bright and early to Elora to do hair make up for 7 people. Alek provided the natural make up look I was hoping for and my hair style was exactly what I wanted, even though I felt I couldn't properly describe it. If you are looking for a stylist for you wedding stop looking because it does not get better than Thelma from Taz Hair Co. She took pictures and notes during my bridal trial and listened to all of my concerns and assured me nothing would be short of perfect on my day. My hair can be tricky to get it to do anything and Thelma worked magic on my wedding day. I had no idea my hair could look so stunning and last all day and night! I had a veil and a large piece of jewelry in my hair and I never noticed them or worried about them falling out. She also never made anyone feel rushed even though she had 10 ladies to get ready before 11:30AM. She perfected each style and my bridesmaids all LOVED their hair. Her prices are more than fair for the quality of work she does. She is also so much fun to be around! I would chose Thelma over and over again in a heartbeat for any occasion. I cannot recommend her enough!!!!

If you call Taz ask for CeCe! I've lived in london my whole life and have struggled to find a salon solid enough to go to on a regular basis. Extremely bad service overall both the hair color and the customer service. I waited three months to get to see Thelma for the hair color. I booked a consult to explain what I was looking for. My hair looked NOTHING like I had asked for and were immensely damaged. My scalp iched so much that I'd wake up at night iching and that lasted 1 week! I have always had silky hair and after the hair color here they feel like bad doll hair. I have had color and highlights done before and this has Never happened. High Heat was used on my virgin hair twice which damaged them further. Balayage done is very dirty and choppy so it doesn't blend. I expressed my concerns and had agreement that we would wait 2-3 month and get treatment to prevent hair from further damage. This is what other professional hair salon told me too. After keeping my hair up for 2-3 months and absolutely hating it I'm now told that I would need to repay!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE!! I went in looking for my roots to be darkened and my ends to be bleached completely blonde (hair was already extremely blonde) I left with my roots a mousy grey and the rest of my hair brown....such a waste of $180. They offered to fix it but after the devastating experience I wouldn't let them. The staff is also really unprofessional as the owner never returned my call and when I called I was told "sometimes you don't get as blonde as you'd like on the first try" even though I left darker than what I arrived with. Overall would not recommend.

So called “specialists” in certain aspects when they are probably the worst my wife has ever been too. Literally spent 5 hours here after the lady did a hack job on my wife’s hair. Luckily the owner was very nice and did everything she could to make things right.. but in the end it was not at all worth anything close to what the charges were. Should have done it for free after it was all said & done. We came here because this place was supposed to be the best and were thoroughly disappointed. Very sorry for the bad review but it must be said.

These stylists are not only talented & skilled but also the most pleasant, polite & extremely professional Salon that I have ever been at. I live over an hour away and will not be changing my Salon. I will continue being their client .

I had dark hair, self dyed, and I wanted to work back towards my ombre, light ends, dark root. She did an incredible job lifting my hair!
