Made an appointment using their online booking option, had the appointment confirmed for a waxing treatment; arrive to the appointment only to be turned away with a rude "I don't know who made this appointment for you, but I DON'T offer this." I had asked if another employee offers such (because I'd happily come back to someone who would do the service) only to get more snarkiness of "no one here does it". Perhaps, if you don't offer a service, it should NOT be listed as under your services, and it should not be possible to be a booking option for it. Complete waste of my time, and left me feeling pretty damn embarrassed.

I ruined my hair at home trying to save a few bucks by bleaching from a box. Needless to say I looked like Anne of Green Gables but no way was Gilbert Blyth going to pull on these carrot pigtails :( I called at 10:05am and the phone was answered on the first ring. Having never been there I desperately pleaded for anyone to rescue me from the depths of tangerine despair. There was a cancellation and a spot available gloriously at NOON the same day!!! I creep over with a baseball cap and reveal my Van Gough burnt orange self sabotage. Chantelle was bubbly, welcoming yet maternally comforting of my plight. We discussed solutions, pricing and went straight to work. We laughed and shared stories and I left a new woman! I can't rave enough about Chantelle and her talented rescue. 5 ☆'s

I called from literally 200 meters away. I know it was last minute but I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. Got there and the front staff informed me otherwise and it was a 50-60 minute wait. No apology and didn't seem to care that I called and confirmed prior. If they just told me that over the phone I would have planned accordingly.

Had an appointment to lighten dull, brown hair. My hairdresser was nice, but seemed to be rushing in order to get to other clients. She was inattentive to what i wanted and the result was hair that i absolutely hated. I will say that the staff was friendly and after going back later on in the day, my manager gave me my money back. Nonetheless, my hair was fried and I had to get it fixed ASAP. The colour correction cost me nearly twice as much as the original dye. Would not recommend going here for any sort of colour/styling. Maybe cuts.

Great Salon & people! Kleo has been cutting hair ever since my other stylist moved to BC a few years ago. My previous stylist worked from her home which was good for me because I am not that comfortable going to salons. Kleo always makes me feel comfortable and listens to exactly what I want done. She interprets my ideas and always gets it right. I've never been dissatisfied with a hair cut, in fact it always feels like the best haircut ever. I work retail with different hours every week so I can't always prebook my next visit but she always manages to fit me in, even same day. The atmosphere is relaxed and clean. I would highly recommend this salon and booking with Kleo.

Ladies do NOT go here. I have tried to remain loyal to this salon but the good styist always leave. Like Kelly most recently. I have had to get my long thick hair fixed elsewhere. The last time I called to make an appointment I told them I have long thick hair to ensure they booked me enough time. My stylist was finished with me in 28 mins. She was only interested to getting back to her other client, a lady getting colour. My stylist even asked me if I wanted my hair blown dry?! Like I might like to leave with dripping wet hair. This place is the worst.

Got a simple trim. Asked the stylist multiple times to cut to have straight across bangs said and made the motion multiple times and the stylist kept motioning for side bangs which wasn't what I wanted. I just gave up and let him cut side bangs he also took off an inch which I wanted. Definitely wouldn't go there again or recommend. ended up being 44 bucks should have went to a better salon and paid the same amount. they were very nice but he didn't listen to what I wanted paid way to much. Should have went back to get it fixed but I figured it should have been done the first time correctly.

The men do a great job on mens hair. The women not so much. I told them specifically my daughter (8) had thick wavy hair. They were rude and said they were stylists and were more than capable of cutting it. Not true. It was a hack job and has taken 4 months to grow out. (it wasn't cut into a style, it was just a few inches I needed taken off) If you have anything other than thin straight hair, as a woman /girl, do not go here.

I never write reviews, but after spending a lot of money only to have to get it corrected by someone else I have to. I’ve been to this salon many times and I’ve gotten great hair cuts from other stylists. I got my hair done here a couple of weeks ago asking for a red/purple balayage that I’ve gotten from another salon a couple of times before. Same dye manufacturer and same colour. I don’t know what the stylist did but all she did was turn my hair brown. I’ve gotten balayages done before but this was the worst quality I’ve ever had, it just looked like bad highlights. I can’t remember the stylists name, she was tiny with tattoos. The pictures show the colour I went in with (middle) vs the colour that she did. There was barely a difference. The last picture is the same colour I’ve got gone multiple times at other salons. When I saw it in the salon I thought maybe it was just the lighting, and didn’t think too much. I’ll never get my hair coloured from here again.

I have been to Hair Fantasy a few times before and the employees were nice enough and the hair trims I got were okay. However, yesterday I called to see if I could get in for a hair cut and an older sounding woman who answered the phone said, "ONE hair?!". Yes, of course I'm calling to see if I can get ONE hair cut. If I wanted ONE hair cut, I could have done it myself. I could hear people laughing in the background after she said that too. I immediately felt stupid... but I made the appointment anyway. I then got off the phone and thought about how stupid I would feel to go there with all the employees and people there knowing that I was the one she tried her little joke on, so I called and cancelled the appointment. It was very inappropriate, rude and very unprofessional. They definitely lost my business as I will NOT be returning there ever again.

After moving to London I needed a hair stylist, and I feel I have found them here! I had an appointment with Natasha ("Tash") today, and I can't say anything but good things! I had about half of my hair cut off. From mid back, to shoulder length. Natasha took her time and made sure everything was perfect. I am extremely upset at the mess they made of my hair. Firstly They dont listen to you at all my first haircut here was back in Sept I belive I had really long thick hair and asked for lots of layers as it help thin it out so the lady cut my hair and Curled before I even got to see it but when she was done and I saw I said to her that the layers she put in were at the very bottom of my hair and that I would really like more layers as it was still thick as heck she said oh no itll be fine I left and was so upset. I hadn't had a hair cut in 3 years because of the fear of it being ruined. So fast forward a few days I decide to go back in and get a proper hair cut with another stylist, I explained to her exactly what I wanted I even brought pictures so they clearly knew what I wanted. I asked the price ahead of time was told I believe 41$ for a wash cut and blow dry I agreed. So she started cutting my hair but had my chair turned so I couldn't watch what she was doing in the mirror we spoke about the last hair cut and gow unhappy I was but was to scared and timid to come back didnt want to hurt anyonanyones feelings she assured me she would fix it exactly how I wanted. So she was done cutting and started blow drying I said nothing fancy as I'm going home to straighten my hair anyways well a long while later shes done turns me around so I could see in the mirror she too had curled my hair so once again was unable to see if it was exactly what I wanted . As we were heading to the till she says I womt charge you for the blow dry which is usually an extra 10$ because of your bad experience last time I was dumbfounded because first off I was told it was included in the price secondly I didnt ask her to curl my hair as I told her I was going to flat iron it and I even said that to her when I saw she curled it and her response was oh itll be easy to straighten it out, I was annoyed because its actually a lot harder to flat iron when it's been curled anyways I paid for the haircut and also tipped 10$ again well the next two days were super busy didmt get time to flat iron it well when I finally did I was mortified it was literally a hack job that a child could have done there was no way to hide unless you kept it curled which I dont ever!! I was angry and this time decided to go back because when I brushed down my bangs it was awful like I dont even think she had her eyes open I've never seen such a horrible job. So I go back this time cause now I'm 100$ in and my hair looks awful the lady greeted me sat me down right away as she could tell it was a bad bad haircut and the only way to fix was to take more off so the top part of my hair is super short and the rest pretty much the same as when I started it kinda looks like a mullet. I then tipped her as well for doing what she could to somewhat fix it but its si daamn short there is nothing I can do about but hibernate until it all grows back I'm absolutely devastated how bad they butchered my hair the amount of Money I've spent trying to get it fixed... and sadly it was 3 different employees. And now I'm stuck with this awful haircut I would never recommend this place ever.

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. First off, the most expensive haircut/dye that I've ever paid for; even after a 30% discount it was over $200 (I have short/medium length thin hair), I asked for my roots to be done and my ombre lightened. She dyed my ombre and put highlights instead. My highlights are orange and my hair glows purple in the light. She did not do anything that I asked. You can't see what's happening to your hair because you're seated at a back table with no mirrors. I will never ever set foot in this salon again and I will deter anyone else from going there too!

She has dyed my hair almost every colour of the rainbow and it is still healthy and looked stunning everytime. If you are looking to change up your colour or maintain what you have she has a very detailed eye for colours. Love this place. Been coming here for over 4 years, nothing but the best.
