I've been getting my hair done at Colour Tech for almost 20 years. Two locations and two ownerships... even after I moved to East Abbotsford, I just keep coming back here. Lorraine (my regular stylist) is fantastic with colour and Barb really knows how to run a strong business. Terry, Linda and Cathy have all done my hair at some point over the years. No matter if my hair is long, short, curly or straight, it still gets a lot of compliments! At the age of 66, I'll take whatever I can get. Thanks for the years of great service ladies ????

Love this Salon. Lorraine did an amazing job of finding a hair colour that would complement my skin tone and facial features. She's a great lady and a fabulous stylist - that doesn't charge and arm and a leg to make me beautiful!

I got an appointment within a couple hours of calling in same day. Linda was my hairstylist, I had medium length thick hair and asked for a pixie with length at the back (like a mullet) and a lot of thinning. Linda did a fantastic job and really took the time and effort to make sure it was what I envisioned and was extremely friendly. I am very happy with my cut and recommend Linda and this studio for any funky haircut you have in mind!

Had my hair cut by Terry, and not only did she manage to get me in like right away, she did am absolutely amazing job on my hair. I'm hoping to be able to make it for another cut, and most likely a root touch up. I'm sure she'll be able to fix the horrible mess they made at Guzel salon in Surrey. That they charged almost $400 for, when I could've done a better job when I went to hair school!

I really like my hair stylist and she is always friendly but I did not like the way my hair was treated and dye applied using a cap. My hair was so over processed that it broke off and fell out. They did offer me to come in so they could re colour and correct it but really give me a break it was awful. I went from shoulder length hair to broken fried hair. I spent a lot of money having my hair done there and I was disappointed with out come and then to be charged extra for the toner. I was absolutely stunned. All this happened the week before I was to be married.

I had an Awesome experience at Colour Tech Studio and received excellent, attentive service from Linda. The amount of care and thought she put into my colour foil treatment was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. The atmosphere of the salon is very warm and friendly. Linda's colleague (Jeanette, I believe) was not with a client while I was there and she offered to help Linda with my foils. She was so pleasant and chatted with me, trading stories and pictures of our family and pets. The owner, Barb, took time to chat with me and made me feel very welcome. My very fragile hair is a beautiful baby blonde and feels soft and healthy. I am definitely going to return and will be referring clients to them. Thank you Ladies so much for such a great experience!

This is my far the best hair color salon I have been to in 20 years of coloring. . When I came I 5 years ago my hair was dry and the color was awful. The product they use is easier on the hair and Kathy made up the best color for me. There is always good music and snacks. Barb the manager is awesome and my hairdresser Cathy amazing too. I always leave feeling g happy and relaxed, with amazing hair that I get so many compliments on.

I went into get my hair cut and decided to get my hair coloured the following weekend. I didnt get a phone call to follow up about the appointment, when I got there and was told my hairdresser wasn't going to be in and they didn't have my number. I know that not to be true because she wrote if down for my haircut. The other hairdresser asked to do my hair wasn't comfortable with black hair. My suggestion is call to confirm your appointments and don't go there if you have black hair because apparently there's only one woman there who can work with it.

Went in to the salon with severely bleached and broken hair like straw. I was embarrassed and yet they were so kind and honest with me on my options. Today Linda gave me the most amazing hair style and got rid of all the dead bleached hair. It's truly amazing! Miracle worker! All the women there are so friendly and I would highly recommend this salon.

Tried this hair salon for the first time and last for a full head of highlights. The stylist missed a few spots, so when I spoke to them the next day, if they could touch up the missed spots, I was not prepared for the rude response I got from "rose" who wasn't even my stylist. I found this salon very unprofessional. Don't forget to get a quote because the prices on the website don't seem to be correct.

Update:. March 1, 2017 I love this place so much I became the new owner!! My friend retired! I've have been a client of Colour Tech for more than 20 years. I can honestly say that Rose and the rest of the ladies at Colour Tech have provided the most exceptional service over the years. I visit the Hair Studio every month to keep my colour fresh and my short hair styled to my liking. My co-workers are always commenting on how great my hair looks so I have no problem referring them to my favourite salon. Rose has always treated her clients with the utmost respect and is always willing to share new ideas. If your hair is as important to you as mine is to me then I suggest you give Colour Tech a try, you won't be disappointed.

I feel like I need to share my experience so others don’t make the mistake I did. I had long brown hair that was super healthy, and I wanted to get a ballyage with blonde done at the end, I showed them a picture and they seemed very confused the whole time they were doing my hair. I sat in the chair for four hours, and came out with one blonde streak by my face that was about an inch thick. I ended up going home in tears my hair was so fried even though nothing was really done to it. I went back the next day because they said they could fix it, so I showed them the picture again and I had two ladies working on my hair. I sat in the chair for over five hours that day, and came out feeling so upset about my hair, I am now a redhead with horrible cheap streaks done in it, I have about five different colours in my hair now. It looks nothing like the photo I showed them, and my hair is fried. I went back because they said they could fix it. If you want your hair to be done professionally or to come out with the colours you want, I would suggest going somewhere else. So you don’t end up sitting in a chair for 10 hours and leaving devistated, I can’t even wear my hair down because it looks so bad. I am now having to spend tons of money to fix my hair, and potentially go back to my natural colour because this is experience has ruined how I feel about colouring my hair. The owner was extremely kind, and understanding, but i can only hope the staff can learn from this experience.

I love colour Tech...Linda has been my colour expert for a number of years and she has turned my from a mosey brown to a beautiful silver! I get loads of compliments and due to my age and skin colour it really suits me. The salon got a fresh decor boost when the lovely new owner put her talents to work, which changes seasonally. All round it is a great experience.
