I booked a cut, colour, and treatment with this salon for the first time. Waited almost a month for my appointment. Went in and they only booked me for a cut & tried to say it was my fault for not being more clear on the phone. Customer service is not great, would not recommend unless you want to leave disappointed. ???? I was contacted after this review and offered a free cut, not a free service all together, which I will not do because I already waited almost a month for the last one..do not want to be dissapointed again..

Great experience! Recently moved to the area and was trying to find a new salon. Oiseau was recommended to me and I am so happy! Andrea spent so much time and took careful consideration in what I was looking for. I went in for a preliminary consultation which was definitely the right choice. I went to the salon knowing what the plan was and was happy. I felt pampered the whole time I was there ! This is the happiest I’ve ever been after a salon visit. So so happy!

The first time I visited Oiseau I loved it! Great atmosphere - complementary tea and coffee, comfy couches, and a very friendly atmosphere. Their playlist was also amazing. Their products smell fantastic and work even better. Best of all, there was no "hair" smell at all! I will definitely be going back to Oiseau.

This is a wonderful Salon in KW. The prices are reasonable and the service is even better. I love how they offer me a beer every time I have a afternoon/evening appointment! Their products are great too. I highly recommend Andrea - she is personable, professional and really good at what she does!

Finally what I have been searching for! I have tried several different hairdressers and have consistently been disappointed in the cut, despite showing photos and explaining in detail what I was looking for. I didn’t even have to show Amber a photo and she managed to cut exactly what I had asked for and have been trying to achieve for months. My hair feels and looks fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier. Not to mention the adorable greeter Paisley, and the lovely staff offering drinks and snacks. Not cheap, but for the service and expertise that you get, very reasonably priced! Will definitely be back and recommending to everyone I know.

Seriously, I chose the place for the name believing to find a French speaking service think again, the name is French and that's it, but the place is beautiful, the service is Excellent. My hairdresser is Carmine and he manages to change the ordeal of cutting, dyeing and styling for long hair (so a lot of time) when going out with friends having a coffee. I don't know him very much, but he is very nice, he knows how to put us at ease but above all he excels in his job. A hairdresser name 1 nothing to say against this place in addition sometimes they have a dog me a pet friendly place that suits me perfectly !!!! (Original) J'ai vraiment de la difficulté à me trouver un salon de coiffure qui me convient. Je suis la fille qui pleure à la sortie d'un salon. Sérieusement, j'ai choisi l'endroit pour le nom croyant trouver un service francophone détrompez vous , le nom est français et c'est tout, mais la place est belle , le service est Excellent. Mon coiffeur c'est Carmine et il réussit à changer le calvaire de la coupe , teinture et mise en plis pour cheveux long (donc beaucoup de temps) en sortie entre amis qui prennent un café. Je ne le connais pas beaucoup, mais il est très sympathique , il sait nous mettre à l'aise mais surtout il excelle dans son métier. Un coiffeur nom 1 rien à dire contre cette place en plus des fois ils ont un chien moi une place pet friendly ça me convient parfaitement!!!!

Got my hair cut by Laura Legacy. Probably the best experience at a salon I have had so far. They had coffee and munchies for myself and my mom while I got my hair done. I personally am not a fan of dogs, but the dog they did have their while friendly was well behaved and quiet. I don't live in Kitchener, but I would definitely go back :)

Normally I have to wait a few days before I can tell whether I love my cut but not this time. This is the first time I have been to this salon and to Jenn. I always look forward to having my hair appointment here with Carmine. Everyone is friendly, I enjoy the complimentary drink and the scalp massage is a nice touch - ah, get it?! The owners, Jeff and Rob, have brought together a great team and the atmosphere is beautiful, but not ostentatious. Seeing Paisley, the friendly boutique pup, is also a treat.

I came in to see Amber for a colour. I wanted to grow out my grey after years of using dark brown/black box dye. Using the balayage technique she was able to blend my roots and lighten other parts of my hair in one sitting.

Always happy with my services! They have a few parking spaces out back which is nice and easy. It's tough to get a last minute appointment so plan ahead. The pricing is fair compared to most salons and I like that they're not shoving product at you trying to upsell you're entire appointment. It's a great way to relax and just get a little pampering

I love Oiseau – for the cut, the company, and the atmosphere. I made a pretty dramatic change from long to short and from the moment I got my hair cut to now – four months after my cut – I have been receiving compliments. Not to mention, this super thick mop of mine is easy to manage while short. I didn’t think that was possible! The bonus? They have candy for while you wait, a resident dog, and friendly and fun conversation. I without hesitation recommend Oiseau for your next dramatic or not-so-dramatic salon needs!

I have been to see Carmine several times now. Each time I leave amazed at what he's done. He is very talented and takes time to ensure you look your best. He is always relaxed and laid back so you can just chill out while he does his thing. His cuts and colours are so creative and on trend. Moreover, he always answers my questions and helps me to learn what's best for washing and styling my hair at home. I go nowhere else and I gladly wait to see the best. ***UPDATE*** Carmine has moved to Control Hair Inc. I can no longer vouch for Oiseau as I only have Carmine touch my locks.

Totally unpretentious place that I love. Jenn is an amazing stylist and all the staff are welcoming and friendly. They have snacks on offer while you wait, and of course you can get coffee tea etc. Lovely vibe, nicely decorated bright space. Paisley is the official greeter. She is an incredibly well behaved Wheaton terrier that I wish I could clone - beautiful dog with matching personality. And if you don't like dogs, she's totally cool with that and will leave you alone. The only downside is that Oiseau is pricey but to be fair, it's on par with other quality salons.
