The only salon I have ever trusted to my hair. Fantastic and talented crew who you can be sure will treat you like the kings and queens you are. Friendly and super clean. My recent hair colour and cut with Shereen was life changing, literally, and I cannot thank her enough. Dee has created an atmosphere that can't be beat and i will never go anywhere else. They have all become like family to me. Thank you!!!!

I've been going to Deeva for 4 years now and it's always an amazing experience! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the salon is clean and tidy. I have my hair cut by Jessica there, and she does such a great job, she knows exactly what I would like whenever I visit. I would definitely recommend Deeva to others.

Things were all good. My stylist was great. The atmosphere was fun. But at this place the customer is NOT right. And they will fight you on it. The computer is more right than you are. Apparently nobody there makes mistakes and could have put in the wrong appointment time. Nope. I must have told them I wanted an appointment 2 whole hours before I'm even out of work. Yeah. Okay. (Not to mention they say they actually remember me saying what time I wanted even though it was booked far in advance. If that's the case and they remember every customer that makes an appointment and their exact time, why do they even need a computer?!? Heck they're gifted). Anyways, I digress. So looks like it's time to find a place that values their customers. Even Walmart places more value on the customer than Deeva. Very disappointed after going there many years. *edited to add the following*. I made this appointment with an out of town friend I rarely see. This was her birthday gift. So they said my appointment was 1:15 and hers was 2:45 (why would I book them an hour and a half apart too?!?) So although impossible for me to make the early appointment I didn't want her to miss out, so I left her appointment and told her I would join her at 3:00 after work. I get there at 3 today to join her and catch up as it's been close to a year since I've seen her. I no sooner get in and ask if she's there then I'm asked to leave because I posted this negative review and brought their score down. Are you kidding me?!? Apparently unless you're going to give them 5 stars you better not step foot in this salon!!! So I said I needed to talk to her because ironically they forgot to mention to her that they will be kicking me out (and just for the record I was not making any type of scene...just planned to sit and chat with my gf while she got her hair done). So I go to tell her what's going on and they had already put foil in her hair so she couldn't really just get up so I could take her somewhere else (sneaky wasn't it?). Then after talking to her quietly for about 2 minutes to figure out what to do, they get the receptionist (Charmaine I think) to play bodyguard and come back and tell me it's time to go. Bear in mind this was planned months ago so her bf knew about it and was going to meet us after to take her to dinner also. So, unless you walk into this place planning on walking out and giving it 5 stars, go somewhere else. It's pricey here and not worth it. If you want funky colours there are others in the area. Just google "elumen" and "Kitchener".

They respect costumers and pay attention to what they want. The stylists give helpful recommendations and the end result is the same as what they say it would be.

I was in Kitchener last night, and had an hour before a show, so I decided to get a haircut. Quick search on google maps showed me the way to Deeva Hair. From the moment I stepped in, it was a great experience. Kayla was awesome! So professional, yet personable. Kayla is definitely an asset to Deeva. Next time i'm in the area, I must visit Kayla and her silver/purple hair again. So glad I found this place!!

Emily at Deeva is one of the best hairstylists I've ever encountered. She listens so well and really makes an effort to understand what you are after. Equally as important, she is super good at explaining what's possible. She checks in as she is going along and has a really versatile range of what she can do. She is willing to be creative and try all kinds of things if you want, or can give a classic precise cut. On top of that, she is a skilled colourist and all the same applies as above to her approach to doing colour with you. I've been seeing her for years and she always does a great job! Everyone else there has always been really friendly and professional and the atmosphere there is inclusive and welcoming. It's a great salon.

Rude staff with the exception of char (she's nice). A hairstylist royally messed up a layered haircut, the colour was awful. I called to report my dissatisfaction and they offered $20 off next appointment. Why would I go back when a stylist can't do a simple cut and colour.

Few years back I went there for extensions, the stylist decided to put 2 sets in of different colors. They had to order them in. When the time came she brought out only one colour and made a comment that there didn't seem to be enough, I had no experience with this before and assumed they know what they are doing. So she proceeded to put them in, what a disaster, never again. Then the worst part was when I was leaving and paying for it she found the other colour, oops, I had to pay for those also and walked out of the shop with a handful of extensions in my hand which should of been in my hair. Total disaster and shock what was I suppose to do with those. NEVER AGAIN this was the owner of the shop I was stunned.

Shereen began grey blending process yesterday and restyled my hair. It looks amazing! This was my first visit at the salon, and it won't be my last. It was so enjoyable. All staff in the shop were very friendly and so were the clientelle. I'm looking forward to my next appointment to hang out with them. Dee is lovely and Shereen is the best stylist I've had work on my hair. Thank you for a great experience!

First of all the ladies at Deeva treat us(the clients) like gold. Always a "hello" when entering, offered coffee or water along with a snack and very professional when having your hair done. Communication is key between client and stylist and that is number #1 for them. This has been my experience with Emily for many years and that never wavers. Emily goes above and beyond for me. It is just the respect for clients and personally I feel it's their mantra at Deeva, "treat people with respect"

Very poor technical skills and ability at Deeva Hair despite their claims otherwise with little to no supervision from senior management. I agree with the other negative reviews. Extremely high prices charged for inferior results. I have had my hair done at some of the best salons in Toronto and others in K-W and have never had a colour done so poorly at such a high cost than that which I received at Deeva Hair. Priority at Deeva Hair is on billing as much as possible not on service, follow-up or skill. I thought I would give Deeva Hair a try based on what I now know to be false-reputation and previous questionable reviews. I attended on 3 separate visits with Jessica at Deeva Hair over the course of 5 months from October 2020 to February 2021. Jessica was very polite on each visit, but her technical limitations became apparent on visits, including a lack of colouring skill. I had several men's cuts and colour done at this salon with Jessica at Deeva Hair at a cost of more than $180 per visit and over $200 including tip. At the first visit, the men's cut and colour were done well. However on each visit thereafter, I was charged more than the advertised amount of their website for inferior results. (When I asked about it, I was told "the website needs updating" despite COVID-19 information clearly being on the site.) On the last 2 occasions, I left Deeva Hair with noticeable grey hair on my roots that did not have sufficient colour applied for coverage (at a price of $100 just for roots, of which roots did not even have proper colour applied). Is it not reasonable to expect that when you pay a premium for a colour service that you actually get the service for which you paid? On the first occasion of this problem in November 2020, I politely brought the issue to the attention of Jessica and I had the inconvenience of having to call to come back a week later to have my hair re-coloured. On my last visit in February 2021, I was assured by Jessica at Deeva Hair that I had proper colour applied. I reminded the stylist of the previous problems with colour coverage to make sure this problem did not occur again, only to come home after the service to realize that once again the colour was not properly applied and long strands of grey were noticeable in my hairline. Who wants to sit for over an hour in a chair to leave with grey roots? Two visits to this "award-winning" salon and each time the same issue. Jessica did not properly inspect her work or she would have clearly saw through the haircut and styling that the colour was not properly applied. If she did, she never mentioned anything to me. I feel very purposely mislead given that this was an issue brought to the attention of all. It is almost impossible for the customer to see this fact when sitting in the chair unless you stop your haircut, sit in front of the mirror, part your hair, and inspect your roots - who does that? Is that not the job of your stylist? You should never let a customer leave your chair until the service is properly provided. When I wrote the owner Dee at Deeva Hair by email to bring these issues to her attention, she did not even have the courtesy of providing reply in over a week. Nor did Jessica. There was no offer to fix or compensate. Services were charged in full with tip and no mention of the issue with the hope the customer would not notice. I shall not be returning.

Great job when I went in a few years ago which is why I recommended it to my sister for her wedding. Terrible customer service since! Not even an acknowledgement after multiple attempts to make a booking. Still no acknowledgement after an expression of disappointment due to the lack of response. Three different methods were used to contact them. If you are just looking for a good hairstyle and don't mind poor customer service, then this is a great place.

Been a client here for years, and very happy. My regular stylist is amazing, and has never disappointed me. A great, friendly atmosphere, everyone knows my name. The salon is modern. I constantly get compliments on my hair, even months after getting it done. Another perk here, is that everyone is very current in their knowledge and abilities. If I need to get in sooner than what my stylist's schedule can accommodate, there are others who are all very good at their job, who can take me on, too (if THEIR schedules permit).

I've never had a bad experience here, and I've been getting my hair cut at this salon for about five or six years now. I got my hair done here for prom, and have been getting it coloured here recently and every time I get a fabulous result. I'd highly recommend it. The price is well worth it and the service is great.
