She is attentive to what you are looking for and works hard to make sure your goals are achieved. Also, just had micro blading done and the salon by expert esthetician Samira and love the result.

I booked a colour fix after a do it myself Covid disaster with boxed hair colour. (Don't do that!). The colour with Sonia came out great! I was so happy to be back in a salon atmosphere that I asked to add extra services while I was there. The staff did their best to accommodate me even though I hadn't pre-booked nails, brows, etc. I came out a very happy client. Of course, when it was time for an update I booked again, this time for everything I needed. Sonia wasn't available but Eva actually came in early (!!) to look after me. She explained how my colour change would be done in stages, as I'm going from platinum blonde to an ashy brunette colour. I'm confident that my hair will look great at every phase while I make these big changes. And, my hair is very healthy with their help despite everything I did to it during lockdown! From start to finish, it's a nice experience at Glow and Bloom.

The salon is a gorgeous space! It's bright, warm and inviting and the patrons are friendly. Had chats with everyone while getting my hair done and it was easy to relax and feel at home. Eva knew I wanted to keep my length and she took the time to check my hair texture, face shape, and made suggestions before moving forward with the cut. I was a little worried about my hair snagging on a piercing I had but Eva was very mindful of it which I appreciated a lot. When the cut was done and she blew dried my hair, I couldn't believe how luscious and sexy my hair looked! I had shape, volume and movement - and felt like a million dollars. Eva knew exactly what I needed to enhance my look. Thank you! The salon also stocks some fantastic organic skincare that you can try out. I highly recommend the microderm scrub. It makes your skin feel so soft! Please don't hesitate to try this salon out, you won't regret it!

I went to Glow and Bloom to get highlights for the first time. I showed Sonia a picture that looked like a famous actress, I'm like I don't know if you can do that, but I really like her hair. An hour and a half later I was in for a big surprise. I didn't look exactly like the picture. My hair was even better suited for my complexion, which is paler, but the quality, oh mama, was just like celebrities' hair. I couldn't believe it. Add to that the beautiful aroma of essential oils in the finishing balm and the wonderful atmosphere of Glow and Bloom. I will never go anywhere else!

Such a great experience! When I called to book an appointment, the woman I spoke to was professional and very helpful. The day I had my appointment it was freezing, but as soon as I entered the Salon, I was greeted by warm and friendly staff. Sonia cut my hair, and was extremely gentle throughout the entire process (I have very fine hair, which is prone to tangling). The cut was beautiful and finished in blown out curls. I can't wait to go back, my hair has never looked healthier!

I was attracted by the chance to get my hair done in a salon that emphasises products that are better for our health and that of the environment. I was a little wary because there were no reviews at all, but I guess that's because this salon has only been open a little over a month. However, when I phoned, I discovered that it was fully booked on my preferred day (tomorrow - a saturday), which I took as a good sign - a new salon already so busy ! Fortunately, I was able to squeeze in on short notice today. I had colour (roots only) and cut (I have a mullet). The space is nice - all brand new, bright and welcoming. The owner and another hairdresser (Sonja - hope I spelled her name right) were present. Sonja did my hair. She's been doing hair for > 20 yrs - also a good sign. I found both women to be very professional, but also warm and friendly. My colour looks great and so does the cut. But what amazed me was the speed and efficiency. I'm from Singapore, where you don't get in and out of any salon (for colour + cut) in under 2 hrs (at least in my experience, and I've been to a few salons). But this took 1,5 hrs. Also, I found the price (105 with a 15 % discount for 1st-timers) very reasonable - but I'm comparing with what I pay in Asia - I don't know how much you normally pay for salon services in Canada. If I lived in Montreal, I'd come back.

Just got back from getting my hair cut and had a great experience! The people are very friendly and the salon is beautiful, clean, and bright. Love my new hair and would definitely recommend this salon, especially since they opened just recently.

Firstly, I went to this hairdresser because a friend had referred me. I was only there for a "free" color consultation (it was supposed to be free!) 2 days prior, I had had a haircut at another salon. When the hairdresser had me on the chair for the actual color discussion, she told me that my haircut wasn't well done. I asked why and she told me that both sides were not the same length (I had a messy Bob haircut that is evidently not uniform, a multitude of lengths - see picture). We continued to talk about my color and again, she brings out the fact that my haircut was really bad. I began to feel confused. She proposed to fix it for 35$ which I finally went for, feeling pressured to do so since it seemed that my haircut was "horrific". I shelled out 46$ total and when I arrived at home, I realized what had been done and how I felt manipulated into the "fix". My haircut had changed into something else altogether, a whole lot shorter - and not much I can do except be patient for my hair to grow back! The cherry on top; both sides weren't even equal as she had argued was the initial issue. I let a little of my anger pass and shared my thoughts with the concerned. I had to write 2 emails and to call to finally get an answer. To be honest, I haven't had a worse explanation than what I was told. In short, they don't care if a client is not happy with the service. They believe that this was just a case of a bad fit between the client and the hairdresser (what in the world does that even mean?). Refund policy; only when supposedly the color is not what was asked but a haircut is not a service they would reimburse, specifically when messed up (really?) I felt really scammed! They insisted that my hair needed that second cut - however, we agreed only to be an adjustment of lengths (I was trusting that it was fair and not a way to capitalize on me being there, it hadn't even crossed my mind since it was a friend's referral). I was in a position of "it's not my expertise so I trust what I'm being told". When I "tried" to explain my dissatisfaction over the phone, I would have expected they would propose some kind of reimbursement. I would have appreciated an openness to listen to their client's concerns/complaints. Instead, they were firmly standing by "We did everything good, it's your fault and not ours" narrative. Haven't they heard of "the Customer is always right"? My opinion on this, they're trying to milk as much as possible to compensate for the losses incurred during covid-19 (a free color consultation is obviously not lucrative). Really a shame to act like this. I've been in marketing for >15 years and clearly they don't know how client loyalty works! And with that, how to run a business. Client IS always at the center. No client = no money = no business; they might have missed that class. I really feel like I was taken for a fool and simply disrespected. I gave them a chance to own up/fix their mistake and they didn't just stick to their but they certainly tried to turn me in the bad person. What a class act!
