First of all, let me start off by saying that it costed me over $400 for the ‘blonde’ in the picture. As I booked this appointment, I specifically noted that i have very thick and curly hair, so you would assume it would take longer than usual.
I got Lauren as my stylist, she was lovely. At the end however, she did not lighten up the part of my hair that still had a dark root - therefore I had a streak of dark colour across my lightened up hair. I took accountability just because I forgot to mention that to her in the beginning but it’s been a while since I last got my hair done and I don’t necessarily know much about it. She also had another client come in and had to wait 15 min for her haircut because of me.
Therefore, I booked another appointment ahead of time for Lauren, specifically picking “PARTIAL LIGHTS NO HAIRCUT” just so it can save her some time. The day of, I called them to say that I will be a few minutes late (5-10 minutes) because my uber just took a while to pick me up. They called back to say that they “will not have enough time to do it”. I am honestly really disappointed that I was looking forward to get my hair fixed today just to get turned down by this place. Never once I got a cancellation for being a few minutes late. It almost seemed like they looked for the best opportunity to cancel it because I have thick and course hair. Definitely left me a bad taste and somewhat felt discriminated against because of this. So to all my fellow thick/curly haired people, I highly advise to not go here unless you want to feel like a burden to your stylists time.
