Went in for an eyebrow waxing, and while it took about an hour to get into a chair, there was a mini-rush with a bunch of booked appointments at the same time, so that's totally understandable. When I was in the chair, they were quick and great to chat with. Overall good experience, I would go back.

I have been going to this Ultracuts for years. Shanon is alway professional and curious. At busy times you will wait as a walk in, but the wait is usually not long. The staff are good conversationist and enjoyable to be around.

???? BEWARE STAY AWAY!!???? Went in to get a haircut and it was such a bad job that I had to go elsewhere today to get it fixed it was so bad that the staff at today's place even questioned if ultracuts even knew their cutting measurements. Save your money and go elsewhere

This store is located in big southdale shopping center. Good size parking lot and decent access to this location. They do not take appointments for non-regular customers. Sometimes weights can be long. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The prices are far , but watch out when you don't what your hair wash. Ultrcuts will not deduct it from the regular price . When they tell the customers a price for a hair cut people think that's the regular price . Then when customers check the price ,they find the price didn't change as they thought. Other then that it still a good place for a haircut. Buyer's Beware.

Walked in there for a quick haircut, not one person in any chair but there telling me sorry there booked up.. Im a guy whos hair takes about ten minutes to cut... 3 ladies sitting around doing nothing with noone else in the shop but apperently there booked up. Place is a joke.

They couldn't do a fade on the sides. I asked them to thin my out my hair and they did not. When I asked to get a line shaved where my part is they had to get someone else to do the line. The price was pretty expensive for the cut that I got.

I Booked my appointment online on the website and i was confused if its at 6 or 5:45 . So i went in at 5:50 . And Rene was at front she told me i had an appointment at 45 and i m late already so she can’t style my hair. And she said you do want still want to get haircut or not? . I was surprised by the rude behavior . I got my haircut because i had to go somewhere. And then Danielle said to Rene that we could style her hair and Rene said something about I told her no style so we won’t style it. But they could have been able to fit then . On top of all that they had me waiting for another 10 minutes. Danielle was really nice to me but rene really worst at customer service. I am really unhappy about the customer service they gave me I would never recommend anybody to go there. I felt so bad when they behaved like this. They don’t value the customers I guess.

I go here for my haircuts most of the time but lately it seems to be always under staffed , the wait times for walk ins can be very long, for people like me I cant really book a time ( because if my job ) two people after 5 pm is kind of annoying and hour and a half wait times .

I booked an appointment for 3:30 in the afternoon as this was the only opening in my schedule. An hour later, they phoned back and told me that I had to come in earlier as my 3:30 time was cancelled as an earlier booking had changed and that customer would take longer. I questioned why they did not refuse the change to the earlier appointment and they offered no valid reason except that it was a mistake in the earlier booking. If they were not able to accept the change to the earlier booking without impacting another customer, why did they accept the change? Very unprofessional. I recommend that If you are a business person, expecting a business-like transaction - find another place to do business.

I called in at 10:54 am to make a noon appointment which was available at the time. The individual over the phone told me that they had plenty of staff and just to come in. Fast forward to 12:15 pm when I arrive, only to be turned away because I did not make an appointment. Of course, no one admitted to misinforming me, and I was left feeling as if they made it look like I had fabricated the phone conversation. Wasted my time.

The lady with short dark hair there cut my hair SO SHORT, I never hated my hair so much! All I asked for was a trim in my layers. They weren’t even layers either! The way she combed my hair too was kind of rough. Never going there again! I recommend the south hill ultracuts over this place.

The first time I went and got a hair cut the blond lady did a wonderful job I was super happy. This last time I went I told the young lady I want a trim showed her the cut I wanted and she went happy cut on my hair way to short. The next time I go I hope she does a better job and cuts it the way I ask for. Over all I am happy with ultrafast because hair does grow back.

The place is run by in qualified hairdresser. They are not licensed and the place should be closed. I filed a complaint and nothing has been done. They don't follow covid protocol so if you want to stay healthy I would avoid this salon. The manager is aware and yet shows no care on making changes.

I had an appointment for 10:00 am which I showed up for on the dot. I was greeted with who I believe was the manager and she told me to sit down as she was on a phone call with her husband. She then went to help the only other hairdresser on duty with her client which took quite a few minutes. At about 10:15 ish she did say that she was sorry for the wait. I asked her if she was short staffed to which she immediately replied "no," and explained how they had all the staff that was necessary. At this time I was at least thinking I could finally get my haircut, but the phone rang again. It seemed it was either a friend or employee, or both, and after a couple of minutes of talking on the phone, she ran into the back to chat for a while longer. I get you can have busy mornings, but I have never experienced such unprofessional-ism when waiting to get a haircut. Either the manager needs to cut these phone calls short, or she needs more staff. At this point I had had it, I went down to Chatters and received a much more professional experience. If you're ever in the mall for a haircut, go to Chatters, not Ultracuts.

One of those young workers there didn't even know how to braid...I tried to get my daughters hair done for a banquet that evening...all she did was curl her long hair...and someone else braided her hair on the top. ..all for $50.00 !!. It took her over an hour to do this. Something I would of done myself. It was poorly done. Plus she had a rude attitude. Never again!!! I expected more.
