I'm really disappointed in my experience. I was on vacation and wanted to treat myself and get my gel nail polish colour changed. All I asked for was a polish change and the esthetician proceeded to tell me how terrible my nails were. I told her I play baseball so I have a hard time keeping my nails looking nice and she would mutter under her breath while while chopping at my cuticles; I even bled in my nail bed. She then told me "I'm a smart girl, I should know better" because I had picked some of the old polish off of one of my nails. It was honestly really offensive and I've never felt so uncomfortable at a nail appointment. In addition, the gel nail polish lasted less than a week before getting faded and peeling right off. On top of that, I was charged for a full manicure even though I specified I just wanted a polish change. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for their nail services.

They are my go to for any spa services from manicures, pedicures or waxing. The girls are lovely and fun. My only complaint is that their nail polish colours they offer are rarely updated and when I choose a colour from their selection I am often unable to purchase it for touch ups. But the work they do is the best in town and it's a treat every time I go.

I had a lovely experience getting a last minute waxing, a great job was done. The spa is clean, beds are comfy and they throw in a lovely little neck massage! I will be back soon!

Super rushed and waxing was a mess. Very Expensive. Usually they ask how everything looks but she just rushed out cause her beeper was already beeping for next client. Will not return for waxing, 80$ for legs. She was very nice.

Today I had a 90 min. Facial with Tatiana, it was exactly what I needed and my face looks so bright that even my boyfriend noticed it. I have hypersensitivity skin and an allergy to lavender on my face and she made sure at every steps that my skin was not burning or reacting to the Aveda products. I mentioned that I love the scalp massage and hot towel therapy. She did a incredible face massage, scalp neck and arms massage that made me feel so relax. I am experiencing headache during my pregnancy so the scalp and face massage gave me so much relief, she also made sure baby was always good along the way. I don't know how many hot towels she placed on my face, but it was heavenly. She really listened to my needs and my concerns and gave me an amazing Facial. Thank you Tatiana!

Came out of the salon 3.5 hrs later and 320 dollars poorer with hair that looked no different. Well, split ends were gone. That was about it. I work really hard for my money and splurging on a visit to the hair salon is a rarity. I cried.

My friend and I do regular pedicures and hair appointments and keep coming back because the treatments are absolutely spectacular, the staff are friendly and the the owner Diana is always around to make your experience just that much better. We love it here and if I could give a 6 star I would!

Read about the salon before I booked & was impressed by the pricing. Called & asked for a trim on my already short, styled hair with an experienced stylist. Got charged $78 for shampoo & blow dry with a bit of spray!! I'll be looking elsewhere. Should have been around $60 max!!

I had eyelash extensions that needed filling. Total Eclipse Spall Plaza cut the extensions off and as a result cut my own lashes very short. They also pulled off some of the old lashes which was very painful. Neither of these approaches are professional or correct methods. The Spa is suppose to soak the glue off to release your eyelashes. I would not even rate them a 1 star; this was a very bad experience. Now I need to wait for my own eyelashes to Gros back and to proper natural length.

My wife would never say a word except that she was devastated by the outcome of her hair color. So I will make the comments based on the facts. She was trying this salon to see if she could make it a regular place to get her hair done. She had several good experiences and planed to be a regular until she got her hair bleached. She came home and I said to her, the cut looks good but it's not Halloween why is it orange instead of blond which you asked for. I said don't worry just get them to fix their mistake, they can't possibly expect you to be happy with that color. Well according to them that's not going to happen, she would have to pay for a new hair coloring. I can't believe any business would treat a customer in this manor and send a customer away unhappy with their product. They must be doing great and can afford to throw their customers under the bus. Your customers are your sales force and you just fired an unpaid employee. Oh and by the way my wife got her hair color fixed the very next day by her previous hairdresser for 1/4 yes 1/4 the amount of what you charged for the pumpkin head. An she got her client back.

Had the "manager" do high lights and low lights. $210 dollars later, my hair remained the same. He left the colour on for under 20 mins, rushed right through it. WASTE WASTE WATSE. Unfriendly. Unprofessional environment.

I have been getting my hair cut at Total E'clips for years. The service is TOP notch, the products are gold and the staff is always friendly and smiling. The new owner came and introduced herself to me and provided me with an even better experience. I would totally recommend anyone looking for the best overall beauty experience to go and give them a shot.

I had my hair redone after a couple minor glitches with the colors. The manager was fantastic and provided the best customer service for me. A senior stylist went above and beyond to give me a great salon experience and my hair turned out perfect. I definitely recommend this salon.

This wasn't the greatest experience. I went in for a signature 50min manicure. It took the esthetician 30 min to do cuticle work and filing just on one hand. 5 min hand massage. Insufficient cuticle work as well as painting nail polish into the cuticles. She also didnt realise the whole nail bed wasn't covered in base coat nor was she going to remove the lotion off the nail bed prior to applying polish....

Went to total eclipse to find out they sell AVEDA!! Have been looking for avid products for quite sometime now. One of the stylists suggested a Kevin Murphy product and got that too, amazing, wish I grabbed her name. Chealsea I believe her name was at the front desk was so sweet and answered all my questions. Too bad I live in Vancouver otherwise would love to get my hair done here

I ordered a very specific curler and paid a deposit for them to pick it up. They got the wrong curler, right down to the brand, and insisted it was better and I just should buy it and return it if it doesnt work out. It didnt work so they ordered the brand I had asked for in the first place but the wand type instead of a normal curler. They are now insisting they dont do refunds on electronics and refusing to take it back. I was assured before purchasing they will stand by their products and now the manager is telling me no one would tell me that as it's never been their policy. I KNOW I was very insistent that what I had ordered was the only thing that would work and I would not purchase their recommendation without knowing I could return it.

I have moved to the area a few months ago and wanted an upscale lower mission salon by my house that had easy parking. I was referred to Total E'clips Salon and Spa. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and upbeat environment there. The staff was and is amazing. I have been able to use both the spa and salon side and have had nothing but professionalism and great service while there. Their crackers and cheese paired with the tea is a nice touch! The front desk staff is warm and inviting and the owner is always around saying hello and checking in! If you want a friendly, down to earth professional place this is it!

Today I received a DerMed Facial - the clarifying one. I must say it’s a worthwhile treatment!! Theresa did a great job explaining everything and gave me a lot of skin care information, but during the treatment itself kept it relaxing which was lovely. I’ve never gotten a I guess you would say “more technical” facial and I seriously appreciate how much work she did to clear me up. I wish it was in the budget to do this monthly!!

I used to always have a tough time getting my hair cut how I liked it, but once I started to go to Total E'clips things changed. Mairead has now cut my hair a number of times and always takes detailed notes on how it like it the consistency is great. The staff is also always checking in to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed as well as when asking about products they don't try and sell you on anything but simply answer any questions you have and provide very knowledgeable suggestions. I love everything about my many experiences at Total E'clips.

I was going to Total E'clips for around 5 years. It is consistently great service. They used to own another location on Harvey Ave additionally to Mission location. I received sleek cuts, relaxing massage, almost painless waxing, pampering manicure and pedicure. They are a bit pricey, therefore one star down. Other than that I want to come back for more :)

A great experience- I was pampered right threw my high lights- streaks hair cut- I was offered a complimentary hand massage and head massage never had such great service in a salon!! Juline was awesome!! The other stylist also helped so good team work! Good feel!
