I’ve been going to see Nicole at NV Studio for over three years. She is friendly, has great suggestions for haircut styles, and provides a mean scalp massage. The studio is usually busy but I have rarely had to wait for my appointment. Bookings are easy to manage through the Vagaro app.

If I could give NV a 20/10 I would. I've been going to Tori since I moved to Kelowna. She is so so talented and accommodating (which means a lot since I'm kind of (read: very) high maintenance). Not only has she allowed me to do crazy colours and extensions over the years, she's helped ensure that my hair was healthy and happy. When she told me her and Nicole were opening their own salon, I was so excited! It's an amazing salon, with a welcoming ambience, and a roster of incredible artists. Whether it's a clean cut, a fun colour, extensions, or a classy updo, I would recommend NV every time.

They managed to fit me in for a next day appointment despite the busy holiday season and even called me with the option for a same day appointment because one of the dressers opted to stay later to see me. It was an enjoyable experience and although it was busy I felt comfortable and very attended to. Unfortunately, when i got home i was unhappy with the haircut. My hair had serious chlorine damage and was a mess and understandably difficult to work with. I tried to fix it myself and made the cut so awful looking I was a hat store facing a month in hiding when I decide to call back the salon and see if they would see me again and try to fix it at a reduced rate since I wasnt excited at the idea of spending that much on a hair style. The owner took my call and agreed to see me the next day, which was christmas eve and we had such a great appointment! I wss the only client and her the only stylist. It was laid back and took almost 2 hours but she made sure I was totally satisfied with the hair cut. She refused to accept payment which was so amazing so I bought some wonderful products that she helped me pick out. And was honest about the quality of the products instead of trying to sell me the most expensive stuff. If I decide to start getting my hair cut on a regular basis I would travel across the country just to go back here again.

I have been seeing Tori for several years now. As soon as I walked in the door at NV I felt relaxed and welcome. It wasn’t a stiff environment. Tori does an amazing job with my long hair (which has a lot of grey!) from regular root touch ups to balayage and hair cuts, she works with my frequently changing mind, and always has me leaving looking great and feeling refreshed! I’ve referred a few friends there who love it as well! (Oh and her head massage and hot towel treatments are to die for! ????)

Love, Love, Love Michael at NV! He is fabulous! After trying so many times to get the colour in my hair corrected, Michael did it!!! My hair was often left brassy and or too much blonde... not everyone is meant to be a blonde. Moreover, as a 50 plus woman, I was tired of stylists giving me the standard Bob they give every woman my age. Again, Michael came to the rescue. I now love my hair, it’s fun and flirty with just the right colour. I highly recommend Michael. Bonus, the staff overall are friendly and welcoming! Go to NV, you’ll be glad you did!
