Cabella is great, and Owner/Stylist Jimmy is incredible! He's been cutting my hair for a few years now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Prior to coming to Jimmy for my last cut and color I was struggling with the strength and condition of my hair as well as not being able to obtain the blonde I have always wanted. I LOVE Cabella! Jimmy is amazing, and always does mine and my family's hair perfectly! Even though we live in Kelowna, we refuse to go anywhere else! It can be really nerve wracking to get my haircut, and in the past, I was almost never happy with it, so I usually don't get it done. I have very long hair, and I have had an extremely hard time finding someone to do my hair the way I like it, and Jimmy just gets it right (seemingly) effortlessly and quickly! With a busy family, I love that we can go in and all get haircuts done right in less than an hour! On top of that, he is the only person who has been able to get my 5 year old to feel comfortable with getting a haircut, and the only one to make it look good! All the staff there seem very talented and welcoming, and the atmosphere is modern and very clean! I highly recommend popping in; you won't be disappointed!

Terrible hair cut. Bowl cut with a duck tail. Told the owner it was longer on the right side and he said "you think so"? Didn't want to risk having him impatiently cut off more hair and make it look worse. Will go somewhere else to get it fixed and even. Very dissapointed.

SEEMINGLY a great salon. I went in about a month ago for a consultation I had previously booked over the phone with Andrea. She said there would be no issue with getting the colour that I wanted to get done. When I came in for my appointment , she wasn’t very friendly seeing as the only person that acknowledged me was the receptionist. On top of that, Andrea never got around to actually having a consultation with me, so the receptionist had to ask the owner Jimmy to take the appointment for her. Jimmy seemed very rushed and short throughout the process. We barely spoke, and he ended up colouring a test patch of my hair to see if we could get it to the very colour I wanted that Andrea had earlier assured would not be a problem to accomplish. Needless to say, it ended up a VERY poor job done. Jimmy damaged over 12 inches of my hair. My hair is very long and thick, growing to the end of my tailbone. The patch test that was done to see if I can make my medium brown hair into a lighter brown, had completely broken off less than a day later resulting in hair breakage of over 10 inches. This has left me embarrassed, spending extra money and seeking help from another salon to fix the damage done. I am extremely disappointed in this salon and with the owner himself for this mishap. I would NOT trust this salon with any type of hair colouring because what I went through was a traumatizing, unfortunate experience that could have ended worse if I hadnt noticed the breakage! If I had followed through with an appointment to dye my whole head, as assured by the staff (Jimmy/Andrea) would work, I would have been left with a whole head of damage. I had a full hair colour booked the following week. This review is a WARNING. PLEASE do your research and listen to your gut if you feel rushed or uncomfortable in an environment that SHOULD be trusted. This salon was very deceiving and seemingly just wanted my money. A great LACK of care for my hair was presented at Cabella Hair salon.

We visit Kelowna at least once a year and when we do, there's no better place for my wife and daughter to get their hair cut and coloured (no we don't colour our 6yr old's hair, only my wife gets it done) than with Jimmy at Cabella. Jimmy understands the needs of the customer; he will provide advice based on his thorough knowledge, but will never force people into decisions they do not feel comfortable with. Keep the same style or try something different, Jimmy has always provided me a great, professional cut. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I see Andrea, who is amazing with my hair. I won't go anywhere else now. I show her a picture and I walk out with my hair looking exactly how I want it.
