Destroyed my hair, Made me feel like it was my fault.
No refund. That being said they were extremely friendly and I commented on that when there, however I went from having hair down past my shoulder blades, to immediately breaking off and losing most of it within a month. Went to three other hairdressers they were shocked, never told them who did it, still haven't but they all said they'd never seen such damaged hair, have had numerous Olifax treatments and countless other treatments, currently not working and I've spent over $800. Trying to repair it , On top of the almost $300 I paid to have it cremated! They did offer for me to have free haircuts and conditioning however how could I go back and trust them with my hair after this. My hair is now down to the bottom of my ear, I have wanted it long and beautiful for my granddaughters wedding this summer and was going into the hospital at the time of getting it done, wanted it looking nice, Instead look like Phyllis Diller on a bad day...only wash it once a week and can barely get my fingers through it. been to all the high-end places in Kelowna since, getting treatments and all said they've never ever seen hair so destroyed!!!! My hair grows very slowly and now spend a great deal of time each day trying to get my fingers through it applying more product and trying to get it into a French braid and pin down all the ends so I don't look like a freak. This wasn't just a bad hair treatment this was complete destruction. Had they apologized and offered me a refund, I'd still be extremely upset with my hair, however would move on knowing that they took accountability for it, they didn't do this and five months later as my hair Is still breaking off and feels like burned straw, am in my 60's, I just want to do something special for myself! It takes me a good 10 minutes every morning not to do my hair but just to get my fingers through it to the point where I can come out with a wide tooth comb and start the process of reading all the ends to try to hide the damage...Six months later when people ask I now tell them who did it
Update....11 months later, and about 1,000 in repairs, my hair is almost able to go in a pony tail... Need one more trim before I can have it colored again, I've looked frumpy and embarrassed for over a year, this has been an absolute nightmare! When my hair was being done I questioned a few times if was in too long in certain areas and was assured that they were adjusting the strength of the product. An entire year later... Not A-day goes by that I don't think about this, one reason is because, can't wear my hair short as I have too many cowlicks and that looks terrible! To date no refund and no apology????
