I really loved the atmosphere here. And the ladies that looked after us were really lovely. When the one girl brought us lattes she had done little pictures with cinnamon on top. I left with very pretty toes and my mom was pretty happy with hers.

I basically got a makeover today: I got a bang trim, brow wax and tint, and makeup tutorial. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The trim was quick, but on point. My brows look amazing. And my makeup tutorial was super helpful! I look forward to going back for other services ????

I had my eyelashes tinted at your spa yesterday. I have been there several times for this procedure. The aesthetician didn’t use paper pads under my eyes, which I thought unusual, but didn’t want to question her expertise. I paid then left for an appointment immediately after. After greeting everyone at my appointment, I used the washroom and a quick look in the mirror showed a big black line of dye down the center of my nose and black underneath and at the outer edges of my eyes. I was pretty embarrassed and used soap to scrub the dye off my nose, but after scrubbing under and the outside corners of my eyes with soap, it was still noticeably there and irritated. I returned to your spa after my appointment to hopefully get the black off my face. The receptionist was quite lovely and apologetic, but the aestheticians were both busy. I was sent to the bathroom with a big plastic jug of olive oil and pads to remove the dye from my face. Needless to say, this was not a good experience. At. All. I’m not one to complain, but I’m sorry, this just won’t do. My email was dismissed by customer service. Very sloppy work (especially around the delicate eye area) and no integrity.

I have been a couple times mostly for waxes, and Jennifer is great I love the service and she makes me feel very comfortable. But I recently got my hair done, and it was disastrous. It's nothing like what I wanted and looks like it was box dyed, I also didn't get money back for it after I paid almost 200 for something I don't like...so I'm expected to lose my money and deal with a colour I absolutely dislike. Will not get hair done again, or come back at all.

Paid over $80 to get waxed and wound up having some skin removed. My girl back home can do this in 4 strips, this girl took over 10 and in some cases re applied the wax, hence the missing skin on my wedding night!

Pour service the manager does not allow customers too speak when customers are always right Tiffany is rude and disrespectful, I have too say to anyone thinking of going here or that goes here I recommend pettigrew spa they by far do a better job on hair colour I loved my hair when I went there six months ago after I went to the euphoria wellness spa just once I will never go back my hair looks horrible and I was quoted two prices before I got my hair done which was a partial high light for 120 or a full for 150 tax included now I asked for the price quote exactly because I did not want to spend more than 150 for my hair so I said I would go with the one that will coast me 150 so we did at least I thought by the end when I went to go pay she told me 196 I was like what no than she said did u get a hair cut and colour I was like no just a colour she's like okay so 135 plus tax for the colour than she changes her mind oh u got a blow dry that's another 35$ what that is not right I didn't even ask for a blow dry nor was I told that it was separate from my colour I would just assume normally u blow dry someone's hair after they GT a colour either way u should at least be told if someone is charging u more for something when u pacifally asked how much it would coast before u get it done sorry but that's just horrible service I recommend pettigrew to everyone amazing prices and they treat everyone even new clients as if they were old clients they treat u right and are just lovely people

Awesome day! I don't go to too many spa's, but my wife got a couples gift certificate for the Urban Spa for her birthday, so I went. Kerri, the owner made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and the massage and pedicure were out of this world. I highly recommend this experience to everyone!

do not recommend for nails at all, improperly cured, lumpy and theres marks on them. they didnt let me know that gel extensions arent offered until i arrived and started my appointment. paid $50 for my nails to be painted. not happy.

I had a partial lash done by urban spa, which is roughly 20 lashes per eye. Less than 5 hours later, 10 lashes on each eye fell out. I contacted the owner and she said that it would be rectified and to speak to the manager. I asked for my money back and the manager is not willing to and wants me to have my lashes done again by them; why would I do that when the work is poor? I have to say that everyone was very nice, except the manager. I would just like my money back for poor product. Also, the manager keeps saying this has never happened, well it happened to me and I don't appreciate the blame being put on me.

Although mistakes happen, our wedding group appointment (5 girls, the day before the wedding) wasn't kept. Bride had confirmation email. It wasn't handled professionally and the groups coordinator wouldn't even come speak with us to attempt to accommodate. Dissapointing. Went elsewhere.

This spa was amazing! The customer service is fantastic there! We were greeted immediately and were asked if we wanted a beverage while waiting. My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage and we picked out aroma therapeutic melts and both of us pretty much fell asleep during our massages they were so amazing. We both were so relaxed and my boyfriends back pain was relieved afterwards. Then when we went downstairs we were given mimosas, fruit, cheese and crackers before we cashed out. I was so impressed and will definitely be back!

My hair feels wonderful after the treatment. Serena did an amazing job with my hair. Will definitely be returning. Also, very clear COVID related communication before my visit. Spent over $70 to get a Brazilian wax and left with untreated areas and raw skin. Wax was reapplied to areas many times throughout the session causing significant discomfort and pain. I've only ever had hard wax used for a brazillian and it was much less painful than this experience. Usually a wax takes about 20 minutes, however this one far exceeded 40 very unpleasant minutes. When the session was over, I was still left with areas with hair, very raw skin and significant amounts of wax residue. I would not recommend getting a wax here unfortunately.

Great place! Had trouble with hair loss and needed colouring and cut. The staff gave me a drink on arrival and had hair done and eyebrows waxed. Both spent a great deal of time with me and was overly impressed! When you have any of the services you receive points you can use on future appointments. Place was spotless. No complaints and will return.

I just got another amazing colour service by Amanda - she is such a talented hair stylist, one of the few I've known who can actually cover my 'stubborn greys'. Not many people can say they like to go to work on their day off, but I always enjoy getting services at the spa and our amazing owners, Kerri & Jean-Guy actively encourage us to practice self care. They also make the best lattes ????

One of the only places where I could book with a friend as they had space for two manicures/pedicures at a time. Great experience and friendly staff. Not 5 stars because I would have expected more involved in the pedicure. Just did nails, cuticles and colour with a hot towel. No scrubs or anything to address dead skin or dryness.

How disappointing?!???! After a great appointment, I was once again disappointed with the operations side of the Urban Spa. When I called to make my appointment I specifically said that I had a $50 voucher that I got from cashing in my "loyalty points" that was about to expiry on July 19. I asked if they could book me in for a Seasonal Promo Mani/Pedi ($99) between now and then so I could use my voucher. The person on the phone (I will not name names) said I could and they booked me an appointment for today. At the conclusion of my very relaxing appointment I was advised that because the service was a promotion and my voucher was a promotion, I was NOT allowed to use them together and had to choose between using my voucher and paying full price for my Mani/Pedi ($110) or not using my voucher and paying full price for the seasonal combo. It is not the difference of $11 that bothers me so much as I was told there was actually a note on my reservation (again I will not name name's as to who put that note on my reservation) saying I could not use the two together (voucher and seasonal promo together) yet no one called me to advise me of this ahead of the time nor did I find out about it until after services had been provided, then what could I really do?!?!?!?! This is not the first time I have been let down and disappointed by the operations side of the Urban Spa but this will be the last. Even though the services and the people providing those services are outstanding - the payment, scheduling and event side of the operations are poorly lacking and often do not meet expectations or what was agreed to. The relaxation that was reached during my visit was instantly destroyed when the payment disarray arose. Unfortunately this will be my last visit to this place.

First off I have to say the Urban Spa had lovely service, a beautiful location and very kind and helpful staff. However the shellac nails were subpar. I visited the salon twice thinking that maybe the first time it was just a lemon but after both visits I was disappointed with the quality of my manicure. The shellac was so thin I could see my nail under the colour (both times the colour was a medium to dark toned colour that should not have shown my nail through it). The brush marks were visible, and the shellac started chipping off and splitting within 2 days of regular wear. I also found both times that because the coats were applied so thinly my nails were more brittle with the shellac on than before because of the sanding! I pay the money for shellac so my nails are more durable when I have it on and so the colour stays chip-free longer than regular polish, both times I have visited the Urban Spa I have been disappointed that I have spent the money on a manicure that was not worth the price.

I felt like my brow wax was done thoroughly and properly, she discussed my brows first with me and went over any concerns and did a really great job on them. Nicole Kelly does great lash extensions !! It was my first time and she patiently explained the process and how to care for them. I have a particular issue that I wasn't sure could be worked around but she was optimistic that she could find a way, and creatively made my lashes look better than I've ever had with any mascara or eye liners. I've been back several times now and I look forward to it! She brings a unique blend of professional skill and a genuine care for her clients.
