Sent my boyfriend a couple months ago to get a haircut then he came back with barely any hair on his scalp. "Sid the butcher" he says when we pass by the business now..I was not impressed with his work. So ladies don't send your man to this barber. My man is still growing out his hair as I type this.

I didn't get Sid, I got the other guy. He gives you the haircut he has, rather what you ask for. Also watch out for hot wax q-tips in the ears and nose without any warning whatsoever.

Sid’s attention to details was nothing short of amazing. He gave me the best hair cut I have ever had. Traveling back and forth between Vancouver and Edmonton there are plenary of choice of where to go but I will be waiting until I can stop in and get a hair cut from Sid. I only wish I had time to stay for a hot shave as I am sure it would have been just as amazing.

First time going to this barbershop ???? based on a referral from a friend. I was hesitant at first as I haven’t been able to find the right fit for my son who is 7yrs old and also African American.I was blown away with the fast and amazing service. I also had my eyebrows done which by far was the best I ever had......clipped first ,then waxed,thread and plucked . Did I forget to mention that my son was also given free candy .Very impressive I will be back again.

*** CASH ONLY PLACE, NO DEBIT/CREDIT *** Hands down one of the best places to get a shave. Over the years I've had many hot shave experiences, and this was by far and away one of the best. They took extra time to make sure they didn't miss a spot anywhere, cleaned my neck line and by hair line as a courtesy. Also gave me a waxing of my ears, middle of my brow and inside my nose (which was a little over the top, but hey it was cool as well). Overall a great place. My only thing I would suggest is put up a sign that says Cash only.

I have idea how you would expect to use my profile photo to recognize me. My photo's face is all shadow. Here's a photo I took right after you did me so dirty. The date was April 14. For 25$ it’s hard to find a great haircut back home. I came in there today and it started with a great haircut, then the eyebrow trim, then the straight blade around the ears and neck, then the hot wax for your ears and nose. Wow!

I highly recommend sid. It's the best bang for your buck. It's the kind of quality that make the big chain hair dresser and barber step up there game. $25 for a men's cut and that comes with the ear and nose wax , eye brows trimmed, and neck and edges trimmed with the straight razor. I give the the big 2 thumbs up for sure.

Stopped by for the first time for a quick cut. Excellent hair cut. Was surprised by the straight blade trimline and waxed ears, nose and eyebrow but it was very much appreciated!! First time having any of that done. Think I found my permanent place to get my hair cut.

My Husband has been working out of town for months, only gets Sundays off and was in dire need of a hair cut and beard trim- like, he was literally starting to look like a bear. Sid the Barber isn't even open on Sundays but agreed to accommodate us. Hubby has never had "the works " done before and is so happy with the results! BEST hair cut ever! Not only is Sid a very talented Barber, the shop was very clean and also very manly. All of the products used were top of the line, high quality. Good lord, does my man ever look amazing! We live about 3 hours from Hinton but will be back regularly to see Sid the Barber! Amazing job! Thank you so, so much!

Went in for a simple haircut, one of the barbers started trimming my eyebrow without asking, just started trimming it. I pulled my head back and said stop. Only a portion of my right eyebrow was trimmed doesn't look horrific, but still noticeable. I've been going to barbers for 27 years, not once has any of them randomly started trimming my eyebrows and let alone without permission. This was my first and last time here.

Love the cuts from these guys - old school barbers and always offer a unique twist to your cut. Be prepared for the ear/nose wax as it caught me by surprise. Straight razor to the back of the neck may make you nervous but is well worth it. Thanks!
