I absolutely love love love Fazila - she's the best for getting your eyebrows threaded since she's been doing it for years. Others don't compare. She takes great care when coloring your hair (especially if you have allergies) and she's just the sweetest person ever. Best value in town, best service, and the most knowledgeable! And she even does mehndi hand art in seconds. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years!!!

A very bad experience! First and last time in this "spa salon"! Furniture and appliances are pretty old, cheap and dirty. The girl that was doing a pedicure for me was wearing dirty clothes. My pedicure was done in less than 40 minutes. My heals and toes were not done appropriately, nail polish was dry and girl just put acetone to it just in front of me. The only thing that was good was a feet massage. And I was just to decide that it will not be the worst experience as the girl's cellphone rang and she didn't hesitate to pick up. She was speaking her language on her cell with one hand and continued to do a massage with the other!!! No appollogies for cellphone. Evev with a low price for the service it is not worth a penny. The quality if services is very poor. Do not recommend to anyone! Avoid it at all cost!

This was my first time going to illusions day spa and I went in for a bikini wax. I got there the girl walked into the room with me and looked at me, I had to say are you going to give me a minute to get undressed? And she walked out didn’t give me a towel or anything to cover up for when she walked in. She was pulling at my skin I was in pain and when I asked her not to pull so hard she pretended to not understand what I was saying. Then when she was done she handed me my clothes while I was still lying down. And did not leave the room for me to get dressed. While I was putting my clothes on she was changing the paper roll on the bed. I also realized after she was done that she was not wearing gloves at all while I was there. The floor in the waxing room was also very sticky and a little hard to walk on. I would never go back there, because I received such bad service. One positive thing is that their waxing services are fairly priced.

Naz is amazing!!! I went to her hopeless with a big mess this other hair dresser (if u can call her that) did on me. I had simply asked for highlights..I booked 4 days before hand. I wanted to look good because it was my birthday the following week and I haven't been to a salon in a while. I walked in on my apt day and she had just sat another client down right before my appointment time, mind you she's the only stylist there. I ended up being there from 130pm to 630pm. For the amount of time that I was there I should have walked out of there looking and feeling like a movie star and I completely did not and felt the total opposite.. i was mortified. My hair was such a big mess that it just looked like she had literally took foil and put blobs of bleach on my head. I hadn't gone to a salon in 3 years and was so excited. I cried for almost 2 weeks... the entire time there I felt rushed. She kept taking all these walk-in customer's. I sat there for a total of 5 hrs... there was also another walk in that wanted highlights who arrived after me and left 2hrs before me... like what is that? She even had the odasity to tell me I should of booked ahead of time if i wanted highlights. I told her I did then pointed to her address book my name and phone number was right there " apt for ******* " written in her own writing. I couldn't believe how poor her customer service skills were.. for instance when she was putting the Blobs of bleach on my head she was talkin to everybody else in the salon but me . 1 I also kept insisting since I was going a lighter colour from a dark that I would do it gradually and in sessions if I had to. I just didn't want to ruin my hair ..her salon had an empty kind of feel to it and it was so messy; unkept ... I had set in that place for almost 5 hours that I was literally driving myself crazy and just wanted to get out of there the final product I held myself back from crying I literally look like a pumpkin my hair is orange and it was just Blobs of it no highlights whatsoever ... thats when i called Naz.. When I called Illusions Hair Salon Naz was completely honest with me from the start. She told me too come in first before she would tell me if she could do anything to help me. After work when I got to Illusions Na's was working on another lady she kindly waved me in and said sit down and I'll take a look at you as soon as I'm done with her.. the area it's in may not be the best but don't let that fool you at all. The shop itself is really nice and Naz herself as well kept. She waved me over to the chair as she was going through my hair I could see her thinking it was as almost if I could see the little wheels turning in her head I was so nervous waiting for her to tell me if she could help me or not she finally told me she probably could I could see you're looking at the clock to probably gauging how much time she had to do my hair.. I felt bad because she even stayed a little bit later than I know she planned on. She literally saved me I left that slog feeling so beautiful and the customer service and color that she did to my hair was amazing. She made me feel welcomed, beautiful the whole experience was amazing. Naz cares about her clients and she listens to what they want it's not about the money with her if she can't do it she'll tell you she's good at what she does ...All I have to say is "Thank You Naz" I finally also found a stylist that I absolutely love.. I finally got to walk out looking like a "Superstar" thanks to the amazing work Naz did to fix the terrible experince I had at the other hair dresser. Naz saved my birthday and I truly feel she is 100% a professional hair stylist and i am so happy i found her..I am definitely going back for a repeat.

I just got here now and waiting for my haircut. The first impression has been good so far. Let's see what happens after the haircut... . . . . . Alright...the lady (Naz) was very welcoming and nice. She gave me the best haircut that I've ever got in Edmonton. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a great haircut with a reasonable price. And finally, the name of the place is illusion hair salon and I think it should be updated on Google!

I got a pedicure done by a young man, he was very thorough with cuticles, polish looks good (although chipped after 1 day). Very disappointed with the result of my heels though. Still very rough and callused, practically nothing done with them. I can do better at home. I also hate the feeling of when they wrap the foot bath in plastic wrap. Also got shellac manicure done by a young women, very happy initially but one nail started to chip after only 1 day. I haven’t been doing anything out of the ordinary to cause it. Now it’s been a few more days and most of my nails have a rough edge feel that catches on fabric so I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before every nail is chipping only 1 week after getting them done. I was really expecting the shellac to last longer but it’s as if it’s just regular polish or maybe the top coat wasn’t applied to the whole nail. Anyway, won’t be returning to this salon again.

Not sure why it comes up as a hair salon, I didn't see anything hair related. I went there because my regular salon was booked up after Covid. The first time I went there my nails were not the shape I wanted, and the paint job was messy. I went back to get it fixed, and the nails were again different shapes and lengths. I'm not sure if everyone was new, but very dissatisfied with the quality, and definitely will not go back.

My photo is part of her profile and I am always getting compliments on how beautiful my hair is, and how much they love the colours. I’ve been coming to see Naz for 10 years now and have had everything from blue and pink in my hair, to the red, black and blonde you see in the pictures now. I’ve never had a color and a cut in the last 10 years I’ve not had any issues. Naz is truly an artisan and loves what she does

HORRIBLE!!! Worst spa experience of my life!!! Not only do they grossly over-charge for their less than desirable services, but they fail to correct anything when complaints are brought forth. Had the worst pedicure and manicure (If that's what you can call whatever that was) ever in the history of forever! I had to go home and do the job myself unfortunately. We went for a bachelorette party this past weekend and all of the other 11 girls had terrible services as well! Everything from chipped nail polish, baby oil used for "massages" (I use " because it was more of a rub down then massage by a long shot), 5 minute facials (charged for 20 minutes), 60 & 90 minute massages that were no longer than 30 and 45 minutes to over charging for services not received. Shame on them for seeing dollar signs instead of quality service and potential return customers... Never again x12!!!

Treated myself yesterday and ended up with the best pedicure and French manicure I've ever had from Illusions Nail Salon on McLeod. Service included hot stone leg and foot massage and arm and hand massage, all for $55. Very modern salon and I love the massage chair during the pedicure!!

I'm next door at Midas waiting for my sister to get done inside, and I just saw an elderly man (roughly 75 or more years old) try to open your door but it was locked at 10:03am. Didn't think much of it at first, then he tried again at 10:14am so I checked your store hours online and it showed you're supposed to be open at 10:00am. Doesn't appear to be any notice on the door stating otherwise. Is this how you conduct business and care about people, leaving them out in the cold when you're supposed to be open, especially the elderly? Haven't even gotten my haircut here but based on what I just witnessed I'd give you 0.1 stars if possible.

It wasn't a horrible place by any means. The woman who did my service was polite. The service itself was ok at the time. I just found it hugely overpriced for what I am accustomed to paying for threading. Also I experienced a lot of breakage of my hair vs having it pulled out by the root. So I suffered a lot of ingrown hairs. In my eyebrows! Which is something that has never happened. So unless I am stuck and can't get in to see my regular esthetician/super desperate I wouldn't go back.
