I had my hair done by Brooke, in the Sherwood Park salon. She was phenomenal. My hair and scalp feel better than they have in months, and she helped me figure out what I really wanted and what would work with my hair when I was a bit lost. Very, very pleased! She was also a delight to talk to!

I took my niece to Avenue Salon for her first colour EVER. Our stylist was Brooke and she was absolutely amazing. She made my niece feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. She talked her through the whole process and was easy to chat with. My niece has always struggled with her self-image and confidence. Brooke not only made her feel special but gave her a boost of confidence. I truly haven’t seen my niece this happy in a LONG time. Curtis, you're my absolute favorite. I understand things happen and the fact that Curtis went above and beyond to ensure I was still being seen by a senior stylist, made my appointment so much better. Holly, I highly recommend her. She's not only great at her art but she's very personable and kind. She makes you feel comfortable in your skin and wants to get to know you! I adore her! I've followed Kat from salon to salon for the past 5ish years and she's always been so phenomenal. Kat is a master stylist who I also highly recommend! She's very kind and personable as well and never misses on what I'd like done. I highly, highly, highly recommend Avenue Salon as they'll do whatever they can to ensure your visit is pleasant. I'd also like to mention that if my hair needs to be cut shorter than I'd like, the stylist will always run it by me before cutting anything. I've always appreciated this as I love my long locks and have a hard time going short. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been going to this salon for the past two years.

I usually go to a barber for my haircut. I find men's haircut in hair salons a bit of hit and miss, but I decided to give Sylvia & Co a try. Boy, did I make the right decision. Everything from the scalp massage to the haircut was perfect. Will get my haircut from Sylvia & Co again for sure. If you are looking for a hair salon specializes in men's haircut as well, I highly recommend Sylvia & Co.

I always have the intention to rate good experiences on google, but rarely have the time for it. However, the service I have received always the this salon is above exceptional. I have a really hard time finding hair stylists, and have even driven all the way to cold lake for the right one. However, my driving stopped after my first experience here with a girl named Chelynn. I was upset to have to find a new stylist though I understand that babies happen. Am I ever glad that I stuck with this salon! They booked me an appointment with another girl named Josie. Not only was this a big appointment for me stylist wise, but I was making a good 7-8inch decision. Not only did she make the cut seem effortless, but she was friendly as well. I'm usually the kind that gets overwhelmed by too many options or by hairdressers who ask me too many technical questions regarding my cut that I don't understand. But she knew exactly what I wanted, kept it simple, and after a week of rocking it, my cut still styles as beautifully as the day I got it. I'd also like to mention that her selection of products was also impressive, and as I am also in sales, I appreciate that there was no hard sell. I look forward to my next appointment and would 200% recommend this stylist and salon to anyone looking for a most welcome change.

Great place for men and women! However it is under new management and has changed its name; FROM: Sylvia & Co. TO: Avenue Salon Same great service. The front staff is very friendly and helpful the stylists are available at various skill levels (read that as variable pricing). Nevertheless the newer stylists are always under the supervision of the highly skilled. There are no haughty “airs” in this place, it is truly a place for young and old, singles and families. It is not unusual for the whole place to be in interactive communication. Customer to customer and the stylists mixing in. I really don’t like getting my haircut but I like it here!

This has to be the best salon I've ever attended! Nothing but good words; I came for a haircut and I've never felt better. Staff was incredibly kind and agreeable. Sylvia & Co Salon Services delivered in all of these aspects and much more. This is a place where time and effort is taken by the stylists to get to know your unique hair and styling needs all while being very friendly, professional, and engaging on a personal level. As an Aveda Lifestyle Salon, you can be assured that they are well educated, environmentally conscious, and always striving to be at the top of their game. Can't recommend Sylvia & Co enough, thanks for the great experience!
