I love the salon, warm and contemporary. Anica gave me an amazing hair cut, she took her time and approached it with method and fine tuned all the details. She also cut my mom's hair and for the first time in 10 years, my mom has been happy with the results of hair salon in Ottawa. Anica is very talented and she does her job with gusto. Crystal is Amazing! We discussed my options based on what I wanted for my colour and cut. I brought in photos and she drew inspiration from it. She is very knowledgeable and provided me with this amazing cut and colour. As soon as I walked in the salon I was offered water, coffee, tea, or wine! I've never been treated so well. The aesthetic in the salon is so soothing. Open concept and minimalist.

She’s always been the best for listening to and meeting my needs (see: hair styled in a way that can remain pretty despite my low/no maintenance) and the new salon is wonderful (such nice smelling natural products and happy environment). Love love love Modmop. I have been seeing Crystal-Lee McConnell for years now for my colour and cut. She is so talented and has a wonderful personality to match. She knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. She is such an amazing person inside and out. It's truly a great experience with her all around. She really takes her time to listen to what you are looking to get done, I now just go in and tell her to do whatever she wants and I always LOVE it. She knows exactly what I want, I think she might read my mind at times lol. I love the fact that she always goes above and beyond to fit me in to meet my busy travelling schedule, even if it means her having to stay late. By far the best salon in Ottawa. I have tried so many salons over the past 5 years and was always disappointed when I left, until I went to Modmop. Crystal has been a godsend for me. Crystal took the time to really listen to what I wanted in terms of cut and colour (which isn't easy), but ever since I started with her, I have never been so happy. Everywhere I go, people ask where I get my hair done, and I happily tell them where! Mopmop is such a great salon from the moment you're greeted at the door by your first name- the energy in there is amazing (and the products smell divine). I had a great experience at modmop and would definitely recommend that salon to anyone looking for a nice professional and relaxing atmosphere. The entire staff was extremely friendly and the stylist (Lindsay) took her time to make sure I was happy with the cut when I left. The complimentary hot towel face massage was definitely a nice touch as well. I will be getting my next hair cut there for sure!

I was looking for a stylist in Ottawa and a friend suggested I see Crystal. I'm glad I took my friend's advice. Crystal asked me if I'd consider lightening my hair and softening my cut (I was working a pretty severe part). At first I was hesitant, but I eventually agreed and my hair looks amazing. She also taught me how to properly dry and style my hair to cause less breakage and I've noticed a big improvement in my hair's texture since then. I've told all my friends that are looking for a stylist in Ottawa to go see Crystal. You can trust her to give you a look that not only suits you, but makes you look like your best self.

Horrible service, I needed makeup and updo for a wedding, my appointment was arranged to have first an updo and than a makeup once I got there, the ordered makeup was done first and it was done in the hallway, outside of the salon, after that Anica washed my hair to do the updo, running water partly destroyed the makeup, the makeup was also very poor and totally not professional. The updo I got fell apart right after I walked out from the salon, but because it took too long to do this, I did not have time to return with a complaint. also they have asked for more money than was estimated and offered when I made the appointment. Bottom line very unprofessional, not recommending to anyone to go through this mess.. Z.Z.
