Dwayne is a very talented hairdresser! I was desperately trying to find a new hairdresser since I left Paris and I couldn’t find better. Since then, my boyfriend and I both go to Dwayne’s salon and we are really enjoying his job. Nice haircut for my boyfriend and nice colour job for me. Thanks a lot. See you monthly :-)

I hadn’t found a hairstylist I could trust in Ottawa but decided to come to La Coupe Courante and see Dwayne after he did an amazing job with my friend’s hair. He’s also a sweetheart and I had a lovely experience.

Worst studio in Ottawa! I went there to dye my extensions so they could match my hair for my wedding. They did a horrible job! First, they did not match the color at all. Second, they dyed it way too dark according to what I was saying I wanted and the color of my extensions. They didn't offer to do anything to rectify the situation or to make me happy - I had to call them the next day to ask! They let me leave the salon crying. And they charged me 123$ for that horrible job. It wasn't even highlights, just plain color. Way too expensive, and very poor customer service! Customers who dare to go there, beware!

I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my hair cut and colour. Dwayne takes the time to listen, shapes styles to flatter my face, and the colours are always classy. His cuts are masterful and grow out so well. I always walk out of there feeling great. Almost 10 years now he has been my go-to person and he's never allowed to retire! I'd be too devastated.

I had the female lady cut my hair. She was very abrasive and seemed rushed even though there were no other customers. She did not take care to move slowly or try to make the experience pleasurable. The hair cut I wanted was a very simple trim: very little length taken off but just evened out and my bangs straightened (I have straight cut bangs). Once I arrived home and looked over my hair, I noticed that my bangs weren't even cut straight. Looks nice, in a convenient location for government workers or those who live downtown but that is about it. Lousy attitude and a lousy job.
