Sandy is the best hair stylist there, she’s not only polite and makes you feel welcome, she gives off that positive happy vibe where it feels like you’ve known her for years. She is a queen with hair, always leaving you feeling more beautiful then ever. She always has a bright idea in mind for her clients and will go the extra mile to make sure they are happy. I've been going to the same stylist for over 14 years, and I never leave unhappy. As for the Head Shoppe itself, it's a great place, current Covid safety measures are really good. The Head Shoppe has a policy that is on all of their receipts, if you don't love your hair, they'll fix it at no cost. (I'm sure there are limits in that, but I don't know what they are, as I have never left with a bad cut, colour, or style)

I've never had a bad experience here! I go to Londyn and she is LOVELY!!! The parking isn't the greatest because the lot is small and it's beside the always busy Giant Tiger, but it's worth parking across the street to get in!

I went to the headshoppe for prom makeup and hair. I showed the makeup person a picture of what I would like my eyes to look like and she made the foundation look incredibly caked on and the eyeshadow was a little to crazy. The lashes she put on me were to big for my eyes but she had told me that it was the right size and I believed her until they started sagging from the sides and made me look terrible. I started freaking out when I got home and had to fix it myself . Hair went amazing by Londyn though. & she didn’t even ask me my opinion.

The salon was clean and pretty, decorated for Christmas, staff friendly...but that's where my 1 star ends I went in as a blonde to have full foils and root s, No warm, get rid of orange brassiness. I got great foils but orange roots. I cried, they said sorry. I went back for correction and came out with 2 inch dark brown roots over my new foils. I cried, they said sorry. I went back yes I'm a fool, for correction. I came out with beige brassy hair and all my foils colored over. I cried, they said sorry.... I was told to shampoo my hair until the toner came out. Spent $160 on my hair for the holidays and upcoming trip....and have to wear a hat I don't like giving bad reviews but when it comes to coloring your hair- Beware! Photo below after a few shampoos, still brassy no pretty blonde ???? Not what I asked for!

I went in to get an updo for wedding today.. I ended up with a sweet girl who was only out of school for 6mths. The issue I have is I paid $67+ for an "up do" I could have done at home. Ponytail and curling iron.. Will not be going back!!!! Received a message back from Head Shoppe and cannot open it.. Obviously not personal reply.

We took our boys here for their haircuts shortly after we moved to Halifax. It was my youngest’s first cut and I was pretty worried about how it would go as we went to a dedicated kids haircut salon when my oldest had his first cut. Long story short, both their stylists did an AMAZING job! We’ve been back twice since, and my husband and I also go there now! Consistent stylists with great customer service!

Went for the first time today and my stylist London did an awesome job. She took my cut issues seriously and dyed the exact color I wanted. She was very friendly (as was all the other staff I encountered). I will definitely be returning:)

I have dark brown hair I came here over the course of two months to get honey blonde highlights the first time I came the highlights could not be seen second time I came here they turned out very very orange third time I had to come to fix the orange I was getting hair extensions done by a different place and I needed to get my hair colour corrected I call the day before to confirm my appointment they said yes your appointment is still for 10 AM I got a call at 9:30 in the morning saying the lady that was going to do my hair her son had a cold and I could not be seen I was very disappointed because I was going to get my hair colour matched for the extensions so the end up is I just went to the pharmacy and got a box die and did it myself very very disappointed wasting over two months and over $500 for absolutely nothing this is not the first time they either lost my appointment or cancelled on me so now I am out A lot of money and a lot of time for absolutely nothing I don’t understand how unprofessional this company is very surprised considering they have loads of locations I obviously do not have any plans to go back in the future

My haircut looks so simple she just did two cuts from front and trim from back i asked for some layers too i look same i was so exited for the haircut i asked i paid $50.00 for hair cut please make sure we get all the services in that ! i was told by my stylist she will only do either hair wash or blow dry why? Then the money should be less too i asked her to please wash it then it was very hot water which cause damage to hair even after telling her water and as extremely hot.

Elisha M. did SUCH fantastic work on my hair! I had expressed my concerns to her about the type of blonde I wanted (ash, NOT gold) throughout my brown hair. She did a combination of highlights and balayage that was so creative, I was very impressed! She nailed it - it's exactly what I wanted and I love the way it looks. They won’t tell you this but they don’t do men’s cuts. Sure they’ll try but you’re going to end up paying more than any barber and probably end up needing to see an actual barber sooner than later to fix it. Learn from my mistake and go somewhere else, they’ll know more about men’s hair and it probably won’t be your barber’s first attempt. 2 stars for being polite.
