Really enjoyed my time there. The stylist I had was awesome, and down to earth. I think her name was Rayleen, Derek also did my hair at the end. He’s so funny. No filter, and I loved that ???? was happy with the outcome! I’ll definitely be back!

This is the only place I go to get my hair cut in Halifax. I've tried a lot of places and I'd get a great cut maybe one out of every three times I went. With Derek it's great every time. Good banter, great cuts!

I found this salon on Groupon. I was pretty anxious at first. I'm new to halifax and my prior experience was a horrible one at one of so called well reputed companies in downtown. So I walked in and they were nice enough to accommodate me on the same day. Jen is a professional hair stylist who prove her expertise in cut and style in such gentle way.she would explain to me what her steps were as she cut. I'm supper happy with my choice and I would definitely go back and ask for Jen.

First impressions matter and this place definitely disappointed. I had high hopes for this place after seeing the positive reviews and was glad to have found a groupon to try it out. However, the person who called to confirm the appointment sounded less than thrilled and actually seemed annoyed. That should’ve been my first clue at how unprofessional this place is, but I thought, it’s fine, they probably had a bad day. Eventually I had to call in to reschedule my initial appointment due to illness, and tried calling to even schedule an additional service. I left messages, but I never got a call back. If you’re not going to honour your promotions, then don’t have them. Simple as that. Good thing there are plenty of other more professional options in the downtown area. Save yourselves the trouble and go elsewhere.

Tori went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my cut. I got a great deal on groupon but it would be worth the full price in the future. The salon is cozy but modern. The atmosphere is casual but classy and professional. The products they use and sell are top notch. Included in my groupon was an exquisite deep conditioning that left my hair soft, shiny and smelling great. Note: the salon is now accessible as there are a few steps up from the entrance to the salon floor.

Stylist was rude and didn’t have any creativity at all, or she didn’t use any on me. Their website boasts they’re “artists”, but I’m seriously doubting that. I’m glad we didn’t pay full price (had groupons) because I walked out with pretty much the same thing I walked in with, just trimmed badly. It felt like this company thinks they’re better than everyone else (especially when a lady walked in asking for directions and they all made fun of her after she left) but from my experience, they’re not. Two stars for the decor and because my mom also went and had a slightly better experience with a different stylist.

Had horrible experience with this Salon! They don't respect customers and extremely rude. Literally canceled appointment 15 minutes before without any apologizing, and the guy shouted at me when I asked to be accommodated later or in the next couple days. I have never encountered such a rude business before, who allows himself to shout at women and then hang up the phone!
