Lorenda was fantastic with helping me choose a completely new hairstyle and always does an amazing job, and also does facials on request to let you try out their skin care products. They also host events now and then which I can't wait to attend! The staff are all very friendly and willing to listen, and the salon is always clean and bright!

I chose Valentini not long after I moved to Guelph based on customer reviews and the fact that short hair specialist, Alicia Contini works here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the salon always has a great atmosphere. Alicia does a great job with short hair. I always get lots of compliments on my cut. If you have short hair and are looking for a new stylist, I would highly recommend that you go see Alicia!

Jenn is im sure an okay stylist but she has an issue with taking stories from inside the salon and sharing them outside the salon. It doesnt seem like a place where one could have a trustworth / honest reslationship with their stylist

I've been going to Valentini's faithfully since 1987. They are certainly not racist and in fact, have a very diverse staff who are extremely friendly, accommodating and always make it a very positive experience. They are a highly skilled, talented group and I would highly recommend visiting!!

I have short hair, and most stylists seem to think 'shorter' is all that is required when they cut. Kate cuts in a style that looks great the day it's done, and every day until I get it cut again. I get lots of positive compliments on my short and chic hair. Kate rocks!

Julio is the only person allowed to colour my hair. He is by far the best colorist I've ever seen. My hair is long and healthy and an amazing blonde colour, thanks to Julio. Valentini's is not the cheapest place to get your hair done, but if you want it done properly and knowledgeably, this is the place. While I was there, I watched two other guests having colour corrections done. These women had their hair botched by an amateur at a cheaper salon. Not only did they have to live with a poor colour job, they now have to pay to have it corrected by a professional. I'm guessing the next time they want colour, they'll just pay to have it done right the first time. So should you. You are beautiful and you're worth it!!!!!!

Expensive and pretentious. Stylists do have skill and they'll do anything you'd like, but you're going to pay big money for it, even with very junior stylists. It will be a nice finished product though, I just think it could be done as well elsewhere for cheaper. Don't like the current location. Parking is awkward, salon feels crowded and noisy. Very visually busy. If you want too feel posh, that is what this place tries to do. Success is debatable. I have not used the day spa so I can only comment on the salon.

If I can give a reading above excellent I would!! I haven't done anything to my hair for the last 8 years so it was pretty nerve-wracking for me. Cass and Katrina made me feel very comfortable and I was like part of the family. Not only did I have an amazing experience but I was so shocked and astonished how beautiful she made me look! Honestly I recommend this place and both of the stylists to everyone out there it's definitely worth your money!!

I was over charged and when asked about the charges the explanation seemed appropriate but after visiting another stylist that was more interested in me I was explained that Jon Dobbie clearly did not know what he was doing. I would not recommend Valentini Hair Design nobody is perfect but you still have not admitted you destroyed my hair.

Please stay away, especially if you're a blonde. I've been getting a full head of highlights for years, and somehow this place messed them up. My hair looks decent from the top layer, but as soon as I put it up, you can see all of my roots, as if I hadn't got my hair highlighted in months. I wish I had taken a closer look at it in the salon. I am embarrassed to have spent $300+ on a full-highlight/toner for it to come out looking so bad.
