Definitely not worth the trip. Called in ahead of time since I had a coupon and our work has a discount, they explained what I'd be paying and I headed over. Upon completion of a less than stellar haircut from a know-it-all hairdresser, I was informed that in my first visit I wasn't given the full "VIP" experience but I looked past that and proceeded to pay. That was when I was told that I couldn't use the coupon AND get the corporate discount but even after explaining that it wasn't brought up when I called and asked about them, they still insisted on charging me full price. I have reached out but received no response from head office or even the store manager so I will never recommend this store to anyone I know, especially if you're travelling like I wasted my time doing.

Butchered. My son got a haircut last week and the more I look at it the more I realize the lady doesn't know how to cut hair. Random long hairs that were missed from the trimmer, didn't trim fully around ears, and hair is clearly different lengths on either side and front. Now I have to pay a real barber to fix it. No wonder they weren't busy!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received at this location. My hair has quite a lot of volume but is extremely fine. I always get it cut with scissors. Sarah, Samantha, and Mia have all done an incredible job cutting my hair. It’s hard to find a place where barbers really take their time to make sure your style comes out perfect. This is that place. The price is also fantastic for students. Would recommend for sure!

I really love the Sport Clips Experience. The part I brag about the most to friends is that Sports Clips gives you a free neck trim in between your paid-for haircuts! There's lots of TV's, a hair-wash, Super Hot towel on your face, massage chairs, and a Thumper for your shoulders. All for the same Price as the Anonymous Haircutters down the road. And I don't even Love watching Sports on TV - But Since it's on, I watch. They also remember your Birthday and give you a free upgrade to the MVP Treatment (which I have outlined above) Even if you just try the basic Haircut, you get a great TV experience, an awesome haircut, and you'll be left with a curiosity about the MVP Experience - You'll be back! The location in Guelph is about 1 year old, right by the Cinema and YoYo's, and The Beer Store.

Cool, "different" experience. Option of massage and face towel is definitely unique. Never had a problem with a haircut, but wait times can be somewhat bothersome on occasion. Nice and attentive hairdressers. High turnover rate of hairdressers, and their general lack of sports knowledge (given what they are known for) makes for a relatively impersonal experience as a whole.

I've been going here since it opened 3-4 years ago. As a senior it cost me $16.95. I'd give the girl a $20 and she got a $3 tip (which for 15-20mins work works out to $9 to $12 an hour). Now it costs me $19.20; presumably the recent minimum wage increase is the reason/excuse. Way to go Katie Wynne. Sorry girls, no more tips until my CPP/OAS goes up 20% !.

I decided to try out Sport Clips for the first time and I was very pleased with the service. The ladies were very kind and made me feel comfortable. I received the haircut I wanted and the free upgrade to MVP service was a huge bonus. At first I was hesitant of the upgrade and didn't think it would be something I would be interested in after trying it out and seeing how relaxed I was afterward I will definitely get the upgrade next time I am in for a haircut!

DO NOT GO HERE! They came to my school for a cancer fundraiser and told me only 8 inches were gonna be cut off and then after I approved the length they moved it! They ended up taking 12 inches off with out my permission and then proceeded to take 2 more inches off trying to "fix it" because they don't know how to cut hair and it's still janky and crooked. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!

I have recently started going to sport clips to get my hair cut as it is the only place near Clair road with top notch hair stylists. Before coming here I always went to the same barber for years but due work and hours of operation I was forced to find a new place. The staff at sport clips are friendly and will always complete the haircut you asked for, not the one they invented like some other places in the south end. I would highly recommend sport clips if you are looking for skilled and friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the end result.

Tried this place for the first time. Had no wait so was very nice. Had Melanie do my hair. Getting the hot towel on my face during the hair wash really felt good . I was pleased with haircut as well. Once you've had a sport clips haircut experience you will never want to go anywhere else for a haircut again. You can get a cut while watching the big game right in front of you, upgrade to the MVP for little cost and get a hair wash while in the massage chair with a warm towel on your face, along with a thumper massage on the back after. The hairdressers in this store are great, they always greet me right when I walk in and remind me to sign in. Also, I've never had so many compliments on my haircut since starting to go here.

I went into the store three times today. The first time the hairdressers blatantly ignored me so I left assuming they were just too busy to notice. The second time they still ignored me until another individual arrived in which time someone came to tell us that it would take an hour upwards to two hour to get our hair cut! There was no waiting list, they were just both busy and cutting someone's hair. I come back an hour later and the lady very rudely walks by and says, "if you had wanted a hair cut you should have wrote your name on the paper." When throughout the bare minimum interaction that they provided me was I supposed to do that? I don't even care that I didn't get my haircut. Will never go again, will never recommend. Instead I will actually divert people away, awful service, awful people, awful wait times.

Have seen both Dana and Christina here and they both do a great job with haircuts. Christina recently cut both my 2.5yr old son's hair as well as mine in one sitting. She was patient, did a phenomenal job on his hair and he was happy the entire time . My haircut was also great as always. Love being able to book online rather than having to wait.

The owner has obviously never sat in a chair and tried to look at a TV screen. Instead of sports, you see a bright fluorescent tube in the middle of the screen. Duh ! The stylist said it was for 'ambience'. No, just dumb. Plus they just had a $2+ price increase. Maybe the minimum wage ? But at 3 cuts per hour, that's $6 bucks and minimum wage only went up my $2:50. And their total costs include rent, light, equipment, etc. . . . so minimum wage has had even less impact. Greedy. Rip-off.

I read some good reviews on Stephanie at this location. She took her time, even fixed something she thought wasn't right after styling (something I'd have never noticed). Fairly new to guelph and I have been looking for a barber in guelph. The last place I went was a disaster. But today I tried sport clips and walked right in with no waiting. Mel was friendly and did an amazing job cutting my hair. She also provided the vip treatment and wow what an enjoyable experience that was. I think I can confidently say I have found my new place for haircuts.

I'm a 45 year old professional woman and have short hair. I thought I'd give a men's oriented salon to update my hair from boardroom boring to edgy street style. First off, I highly suggest marketing to women as well....at least at this location. The girl who did my hair had long naturally curly hair that almost made me miss my long hair until she started to cut my hair. She asked me questions that every single stylist out there should do. "What don't you like about your hair right now? How much effort are you willing to put in daily? Does your hair now represent how you want to feel?", she asked BEFORE picking up the shears. How did I NOT hear of this salon before?! Since then, I've had random strangers, women only , ask me where I had my hair done. The look on their face is priceless when I tell them . It makes sense though. If a woman is confident enough to wear short hair, then who better to cut it than the experts on short hair! The bonus for me was being able to watch a sports game that I can't get at home.....girls like sports too.

The hot towel and quick massage are OK, but the haircut is perhaps the WORST hack-job I have ever seen. I asked for my sides and back to be shortened with a shaver #3 and blended into the rest, and she proceeded to shave most of my head very aggressively. I'm surprised I don't have scars. I've never had so much hair removed from my head! What little I have left was barely styled. I'm almost embarrassed to go to work today. WORST HAIRCUT EVER and not worth all the extra $$. You can go just about anywhere and get a better cut for less.
