At least put a sign up stating that you are closing early. "Sorry things happen" is a very inappropriate and rude response. I would give 0 stars if I could.

One of the stylists seemed to put little to no effort into my hair. I asked for fine highlights but recieved thick chunky highlights that were not all the way to the root and the foils were shifted making a copper line before the highlights start! I didn't notice this right away until my hair was blow dried and styled. When I asked the stylist to curl my hair loosely, I ended up with poofy and frizzy hair. I asked for some hair oil but that didn't help. The stylist didn't try anything else to help it and went about it as if it was a job that was finished. After leaving I felt the tips of my hair and they were extremely dry and felt like straw despite me getting a hair cut (half an inch at least) but it looked significantly shorter and dryer! I was disappointed with this appointment.

After moving to Guelph, I was no longer able to go an old family friend to cut my hair as it was too far. I was quite hesitant on finding a new stylist as I have very thin hair and every cut is easily noticeable. After some searching and reading reviews, I finally gave Campus Estates Hairstyling a call. Let me tell you, Betty is THE best. With her many years of experience, she understands what cut looks best with the thickness of your hair. I am SO happy with my new cut and I will definitely be going back. HIGHLY recommend

I'm someone who gets male haircuts and after getting a horrible one done in February at another place I took time to grow my hair out a little before cutting it again. I was really nervous with someone cutting my hair again. I had Kim (the owner) and she was phenomenal. Not only did she do exactly what my reference picture looked like and made it look better than I ever thought it would look, she was kind, funny, personable, and listened to my worries. I'm not someone who takes cutting their hair lightly but I would HIGHLY recommend Kim or anyone who works at this place because they are exceptional!

Booked an appointment with Megan who is exceptionally talented+ for a cut and color and all over hair fix. You guys are friendly but i didnt like how the lady cut my hair i asked to get the top of hair cut off a little bit and the lady that cut my hair didnt even asked how short i wanted it and she did not asked me if i want my hair to the left right or just let it fall down she just went for it and did not even asked me one of those thing and i even asked for a fade which she did a terrible job. I dont know what she did to my hair but i look like the president of north korea right now.

Would not use this salon ever again. I went in knowing exactly what colour I wanted, and showed the hairdresser an exact photo. She said she could do it. It was a darker colour than my original hair. An hour later, the dye is washed out and my hair is being dried and I almost threw up! My hair was LIGHTER! She turns to me and says "this really suits you. I added more of this in to really make the colour more vibrant". She completely ignored what I wanted and decided to do what she wanted to do. I was so upset and disappointed. I will never use this salon again and I now worry about this happening again at other salons. Campus estates has ruined hair salons for me.

Went to get a hair cut. It is around $30 for wash, cut and style for women (not including tips). The hairstylist, Betty, did a really good job reproducing the layered haircut from the picture I showed her. I was very satisfied with the result at the end (even more so than previous haircuts in Toronto where I have tried to get the same type style). I would highly recommend getting a hair cut with Betty!

After moving to Guelph, I was on a mission to try and find a new hair stylist that could master the same highlights I've been getting for the past thirteen years. Before finding Campus Estates Hairstyling, I tried another Guelph hair salon and was completely disappointed. Then I found Betty at Campus Estates Hairstyling, and on my first visit I was so pleased with the results. Not only did she fix the horrible job that was done previously, but she absolutely nailed the color I was going for, and I have been and will continue to be getting my highlights done by her hopefully for many years to come. Betty is a talented, attentive, and skilled hairstylist and a genuinely wonderful person. Don't waste time and money on anyone else!

Recently went for a colour and cut. I was hoping to fix a patchy self-dye job, and after being quoted an exorbitant price at another salon, I came here. They did exactly what I wanted to cover the patches, and even went back a second time to spot dye one area to ensure proper coverage. The colour and cut was also very reasonably priced.

Edit: I think I confused this place with the "campus estates" plaza that contains it. I have not actually been to this place. It seems to be in a good location, though. Near a no frills.

I went in the get my hair balayaged I asked for a warm tonned balayage with darker roots and I left with badly bleached sliver/grey hair some parts of my roots are done and others aren't it's not at all the colour I wanted or showed them (I showed a bunch of pictures of what I wanted). Overall not what I asked for and badly done (they took some pictures of it after it was done so if they put it up I'm the one with shoulder length ashy hair)
