As a guy, I've never been into a salon before except to pick up my wife. She finally convinced me to get a pedicure and wow. Dudes we've been missing out. Staff here were great, I got offered coffee, tea, wine beer whatever I wanted before my pedicure. The owner John was an amazing guy who spent his time greeting and talking with customers and when they filled up, without hesitation he hopped on a station and starting doing nails for another client. I'll be back, do yourselves a favor and go visit John and his amazing team.

I booked my appointment with this place July 18th because I'm a pre-planner and I have a trip to Europe August 13th. I needed full set of volume lashes, eyebrow wax and a gel fill. She seemed adamant she could do it all in one appointment so I booked it. Today was the day of my appointment (August 8th) i was really looking forward to it as my nails are grossly grown out and need some love. I roll up, walk up to the door and see a sign that says "closed for renovations". Wow. Really? I got no phone call, nothing. I'm not a local, I work here and I'm not back till 6 so I have the odds stacked against me to find someone else. I frantically started calling people to see if I could get in and thankfully i found someone to do my nails but its Friday tomorrow... people are booked up and cant help me. I can deal with no lashes (I actually had a women from Black Cat Lashes get a hold of me but the appointment would have run too late, so I couldn't take it because I'm up at 4 am for work. I highly recommend them because she went out of her way to try and accommodate me, which meant a lot in this situation) Anyway! I am disappointed and disgusted at the lack of courtesy from a "customer service" business. If you needed to cancel my appointment, I wouldn't have cared. But you kinda need to call people or message them so they dont show up at your salon and all the lights be off.

horrible service, pedicure and acrylic fill, pedicure paint job was disgusting, and dont even get me started about the acrylics. asked for a pink ombre nail and provided a picture. looked nothing like the picture and were SO THICK. asked for him to file them off and get a normal colour then he said he had to redo the acrylic and then the colour. eventually he just asked if i wanted the nails off and “kicked me and my friend out” as it was past his closed time ( even though we got there at 4, it is now 5:40 by this time and he closes at 5) which was his fault. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE. also was dirty. like please at least wash your floors.????

I went here yesterday to have a nail repaired. I live in Dawson Creek but staying in Grande Prairie over the holidays and of course I broke a nail right before Christmas. I called around to a few places to ask about a nail repair and they told me they either didn’t have time or they don’t repair other nail techs work. I called Vivacious Nails and she was so nice over the phone. Told me that I could come in whenever and they would squeeze me in. I arrived and I waited about 10 min so they could squeeze me in. The girl was so efficient and friendly. She got me in and match the nail perfectly to the rest of them. I offered to pay for the nail repair but she was so kind to not charge me. She told me I’ll see you again and I most definitely will see them again. I don’t get my nails done often (only special occasions) but I would definitely go back for a pedicure. They were very professional, place was clean and very pretty inside. They truly care about their business and to provide the best care to customers. She thanked me for supporting their business which was very nice. I had great service and I do recommend them. I think the girl who fixed my nail was named Vivian but I’m not 100 % but either way I was very happy with the service!

Loved my nails at first until I had to go get them fixed as one of the deckels started coming off and a nail started to lift. And now the two nails with the deckels look horrible as there is two lumps in the middle of my nail. I will not be going back to this nail salon

Went and got my eyebrows microbladed by Vina, and she did an excellent job! I am in love with them. Very good experience getting them done she is very particular and precise. I will definitely be going back.

very good with nails but I went for eyelash extensions twice and both my experiences were terrible. my eyes stung and burned the whole time and they didn’t last as long as other places I went before. I went again after the first bad time because I had hope that the lady just didn’t do something right the first time and maybe it’ll be less painful the second time. NOPE. exact same painful burning. never getting eyelash extensions there again

I made a last minute appt to get a fill. First time here and I was very impressed with how modern, bright and clean. I wish I would've asked the name of the man who did my nails, really well done and he was super fussy which I appreciated. I just brought in a picture of the colors and he went from there. Will be back!!!

Colour selection is good and services run on time. Did cut my friends toe this time we went though - not sure if from inexperience or if they werw just having an off day. Went after renovations in September 2020 - very clean and experienced workers now. Very nice atmosphere and many colour choices for gel and regular polish.

I love the renovations. By far the prettiest/most modern nail salon in GP. And they offer you champagne/wine! Nail tech did a good job on my manicure and put an extra top coat on so I’m hoping they will last a while. I would recommend this place.

I used to love this place. Awesome staff and good work, until my recent visit. The 'manager' did my nails. He was clumbsy and seemed rushed...they came out awful all different shapes and lengths, lumps in the center of my nails uneven nail polish...after 6 days a nail broke almost all the way off leaving behind a small portion. later that day the corner of my thumb..and on day 7 another whole entire nail popped off. almost no evidence anything was there before. now i have to spend more money to go somewhere else and get them fixed ????

I took my 2 young girls here for their first manicure, and the staff were so personable and kind, allowing them time to pick their favourite colours (and change their minds), and really making sure to listen. The quality of the manicure was great as well, and they offer discounted rates for kids :) After the manicures, they offered to do a pedicure for the girls when they showed interest in the adorable butterfly pedi chairs. We didn’t even have one booked and they made the time. We had a great experience overall and will return for sure!

The worst nails I’ve ever had. They were not adhered properly and my nails were lifting off my nail bed! They were thick and uneven. Also horrible customer service and very unprofessional. One of the ladies working there was sleeping in the massage chair while the receptionist gabbed on her personal phone the whole time. They were also not upfront with pricing so it was a surprise when I got to the til to pay and was told about all the “extras” I had received for designs. NEVER going back to this place.

Very bad eyelash extensions!!!! Advertised as volume lashes, really cluster lashes. Extensions attached to 4 natural lashes tearing them out when they grow! Asked for something to be done and they didn't care what so ever. She even told me that she must not have let the glue dry before putting others on allowing them to fuse together in clumps and still did nothing about it! Waste of time and money! Go somewhere more professional and that does a proper job!

Came from out of town. My daughter and I walked in to see if they could do a full set of acrylics and pedis. Was busy , couldnt do it at the time but squeezed us in a couple hours later. The place has just been renovated, and is beautiful! Best pedi massage chairs ever! With everything there being brand new. The staff was friendly and we were happy with our nail and toes.

They did a really good on my nails. The place needs a bit of work, by no means a fancy high class salon. Great prices. $30 for gel polish and so far has lasted a week and looks good as new.

The worst nails I have ever had! I wanted to cry leaving. I went in for a fill, he didnt match the nails sizes, so they were super wide. You could visibly see the nail tips were different sizes. He did not match the lengths on the fingers, so some were super long and some were super short. I showed a picture of what I wanted and then he just did whatever he wanted. I wanted small gems and he put large ones on and then put matte over the gems. Then they were super thick and chunky. One broke off after 3 days and another after a week. I do not recommend this place. I wouldnt even go back to have them fix the nails that broke off.

It's a nice clean place, but was charged 85 for a fill.. nails were okz but not for that much. I had a 10 dollar charge for a small design which is fine, but 75 for a fill seems a bit crazy, and doesn't match the website prices.

Nails are thin as paper, plastic gems are too expensive and service is horrible. Even when I trim my own cuticles and treat them, they make them bleed every time. They're rough as heck and they take no care in their work. My nails break off every time withing the first few days and are so weak and poorly applied its not worth the waste of money. 0/10 do not recommend
