The folks at THE HEADROOM cancelled my daughters hair and makeup on her GRADUATION day! I called to let them know the ceremony was running late and we'd be there ASAP. The lady I spoke to said she'd inform the hairdresser, and told us to get there as fast as we could. A while later another lady called and said we were too late and that they weren't going to take her. It was her GRADUATION! Its not a day that can be replaced or replicated! The owner, Darla (?) couldn't have cared that my daughters day was potentially ruined. Basics Haircare stepped in and SAVED the day. On top of that, they wouldn't let my daughter pay! What an amazing salon! Highly recommend!

If your unsure of something you should ask before cutting. Had a girl botch up my hair and it was only supposed to be a trim, my layers look aweful, she ruined my style.

I didn't find that their prices was much different than most shops in town... But what I did find one different was the woman who cut my hair Courtney seem to be more interested in everything else that was going on in the shop then paying attention to cutting my hair... I won't go back I left the store covered in my own hair that was all over my pants ,top and face ☹...she didn't even bother to trying get the hair off of me☹

Saw Jen yesterday for a trim I was able to get in first thing and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Basics has great prices as well vs other salons in gp and I loves that she took time to curl my ends afterwards:)

The girl who usually does my hair here is amazing, I always got compliments from random people on the street! I absolutely adored her. She was on leave so another girl did my hair and it turned out horrendous. She did not seem confident at all and kept asking the other stylists what to do. They wanted to put more product on my hair right after they were done to correct their mistake but I said no I didn’t want to damage my hair any more. Recommended this place to anyone who asked about my hair, and sent them to my regular girl but they have lost me as a customer.
