We booked the premiere spa package and arranged to come in on a Sunday. I specified on the phone that there would be two of us and was told that we'd be able to be seen at the same time by separate estheticians. When we got in there was only one esthetician in, and while she was very friendly and did her best to take care of both of us I was disappointed that they hadn't informed us of the change. I don't think anyone told her what we'd booked and the whole experience seemed a bit rushed and confused. The session ended up running late and we had to book a separate appointment for the massage. The manicure, pedicure and facial that we had were very well done and the lady who did them (I believe her name was Nas?) was very sweet and professional but the experience altogether left me dissatisfied and I don't think I'll go back.

A cozy atmosphere with a staff that you can tell are close and work well together. They were very generous and gave me a free hair treatment during my wash for being a first time customer! **Edit: I went to their instagram to show my partner the after photo and found out that they had lied on their page about the services that they had provided me with. Their post lauds my 'glowy, warm tones' as their #haircolouroftheday to refresh "that red quarantine colour" but this salon only provided me a keratin treatment and a cut. Yes, I made the brilliant decision to put red box dye on my hair April 2020, but no one from this salon put in the time and effort to bleach the red out (she was sticky af) and try to restore my hair colour with a beautiful subtle balayage. What was once a 5 star review is now a 2 because I can't imagine a stylist trying to claim the hard work of another stylist (let alone my friend) and being okay with misleading their clientele like that

After visiting flawless salon I thought I need to share my wonderful experience. I rarely write reviews so this should say a lot. I went with my 3 kids. We experienced the cutting, styling and highlighting. The job was done perfectly on all 4 of us. The team was highly professional, nicely dressed with big welcoming smiles on their faces. Listened to our needs and gave us very suitable recommendations and as a result me and my kids were very happy customers( and by kids I mean teenagers who are very picky and not easily satisfied). The salon was very clean and sanitized regularly, not to mention the wonderful and warm vibe that the salon gives its’ customers. Definitely going back and highly recommend.

I was waiting at the reception area for my teenager (who was getting a facial by Anna - who was professional, excellent and very kind to a teenager) when a male staff approached me and started the conversation with "what about you? you need a makeover, you need a better haircut, you need colour, highlights", I politely declined (even though, I felt horrible - because, I am confident I don't) he proceeded to tell me he was from Toronto and he could make me pretty. I thanked him for his suggestions, but declined service. A few minutes later a female staff approached me and asked me if she could tell me about their specials, I politely declined; she proceeded anyway. I told her I was not interested in in any services and she told me that she could match the Groupon prices, so I wouldn't need to go on Groupon. I thanked her, but she wouldn't stop explaining how two highlights at the front could frame my face, and 3 in the back can really lighten my hair (my hair has never been coloured, I have beautiful brown/auburn hair with natural highlights). I thanked her again, but she wouldn't let up, trying to push a facial and mani-pedi on me. It was genuinely the most uncomfortable one way conversation ever. The place was dead, there were 5 staff working, and 3 of them were talking in their own language loudly at the reception area where I was waiting (very rude). In the time we were there only one client came in. I would not recommend this place.

My husband booked me a mani and pedi. I went and it was not a good one. Specially the mani.. i put my feet in water and the girl didnt trim my nails she just filed them.. then mani time.. she didnt even put my hands in water she just filed them too.. she didnt even clean the dust from my nails. The nail polish was a terrible job.. even my hushand noticed when I showed him... it was my first and definetely LAST time there. I forgot to mention the girl there is the only one that works there as a mani and pedi girl. She is an 18 yr old girl. She never took classes or a course.. not trying to be mean but it was HELLA expensive for this cheap treatment.

However, to stay on subject. Too bad you guys don't care to have a record about an unsatisfied customer, then again I'm not surprised. I got a groupon and didn’t know what to expect but it ended up being a great experience. I went in for a mani pedi and they were very welcoming and sanitary (with COVID). My nail technician was nice and did a really nice job with my nails. I hope to go back again soon. My only downfall would be the normal price points are a little high but if that doesn’t bother you than this place is great ????????

However I wish there was more customer care from the rest of the team. My appointment was for 2:15. I was there at 2 and after checking in, no one addressed me until Van came to get me at 2:23. I did the Premier Spa package with Van. It’s $99 for the mani and pedi, a facial and a massage. I went with my mom and sister. The massage was the absolutely best massage I’ve ever had, and I’ve been going different places for years. The massage is about 20 mins, which is the only sad part. Can next does the facial. My skin felt amazing after and my sister, who has very sensitive skin, had no issues. We then did the pedi and then the mani. Again, Van blew us away. I can’t believe she did all three of us together and was quick, efficient and did an amazing job. My nails looked great. I wish I had taken a pic. Will for sure be going back.

There is no secret that, cool platinum blondes, take a highly pro level of colour tech skill and care to get that perfect platinum! This place is a gem. After kindly rescheduling me a number of times at my request, I was so surprised when I showed up. The place has a really cool vibe, which you can't tell from the outside. In addition, the staff, namely the front desk personnel, was so friendly and kind. I'm also really impressed with the price of a shellac pedicure - you can't get that price at a smally dingy shop. Will definitely return!

These are the nails i get at this place from a Groupon I got for my birthday. When I was about to leave i was stopped and expected to pay for the “design” and was told that I wanted to “scam” them while i was trying to explain that my nails are basically ruined. The attitude of the owner was bad, he wasn’t listening to my complaint and made me feel like he was making me a favour by letting me go without paying extra, while in reality i should be paid to remove this garbage from my nails.

* Edit in response to the owners comments* I originally posted this with no comment and a one star review, and as you can see the owner angrily replied to it, which confirms everything I said about unprofessionalism in this salon. Since she wants to do this, I have decided to tell my story of what happened at this salon. To begin, I would like to say that as soon as I came in the staff was unwelcoming and unprofessional, but I still went ahead into the salon. The owner gave me a price breakdown at the beginning of the servicing and said that it was $130 with taxes plus my $72 groupon. We agreed upon it. I asked for a balayage and was then given chunky highlights that needed to be fixed. They were clearly very irritated to fix it and made me feel very uncomfortable even though they specifically went against my instructions. Although they did fix it, it still looks nothing like I originally asked for. I did not create a fuss over this as it still looked decent and I have worked as server for 8 years and I do not want to be to difficult to hardworking people. However, what set me over the edge was my time at the checkout. I was having trouble pulling up the groupon, and the salon staff snatched my phone out of my hand and scrolled through trying to find it. I still said nothing when this happened.Then at the checkout, I was given a higher price than the estimate. The salon staff the called the owner to verify this. They passed the phone to me, and she referred to three different prices during the conversation, going from $140, to $167, then to saying my totally was $189. I was then insulted by the owner over the phone, and she angrily told me that she could not believe I was arguing over such little money. It was at this point I got angry. I handed back the phone, told the salon staff that I know it’s not their fault so I’m not angry at them, but I think their boss is a disgusting liar and I’m very angry. I paid the money and left. I have absolutely no issue with paying extra money, but I have a big issue with being lied to about it. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, but I felt it was only necessary to warn people of this place. The owner of the salon is by far one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. And it is quite obvious in her rude, passive aggressive reply to both my comment and others comments.

Not quite flawless.:-) good heart but I've had black hair colour before at other hair salons in Ottawa and my skin was never stained nor have been told that's it's common with black hair colour. And they forgot to charge me for the colour and then called me to pay for it. :-) I didn't mind that, but hardly flawless. Sounds like Ahmed is the one to see... unfortunately I didn't need a barber.;-) for the initial price I was charged , with the forgotten colour charge, I would have said great value. However with the combined colour and cut charge and additional flaws, I'd say going somewhere else with a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere would be a better bet, at least of you're under 35, and have a certain ethnic background. It did not seem to be a place that understood different ethnic background's hair textures and varieties leaving me feeling old a d balding on the way out .....anyway....good hearted people that took a last minute appointment so I'm extremely appreciative for today. Thank you. :-)

I had a basic facial done by Anna. Overall it was good. GOOD points - I walked in to ask a few questions and they were able to book me for the same day, which was helpful for my schedule. - Anna was nice. - Skin felt pretty good after. No irritation or breakouts. - Reasonable price. - Easy parking. BAD/UNSURE points - I hated the fragrance of the skincare products used in the facial. It smelled like fake-floral baby powder. I looked up the brand and they are ALL about natural ingredients etc., however it was difficult to find the complete ingredient list on any site for many of their products (most lists were just "active ingredients" that didn't include the perfume component). FYI the brand is called SHIRA. - The room for facials was small, cramped, had yellow walls, fluorescent ceiling lights (that could bother you even when you close your eyes), and pretty much zero ambiance. - She put serum AFTER moisturiser. If you are at all into skincare, you'd know that most experts (including her own "aesthetician's guide" book that she let me read, to know more about the products) would say...it should be the opposite. I'm not upset about this, but I brought it up and she said that's just how she's always done it, so I was like OK. So FYI, if you are adamant about serum going on BEFORE moisturiser, don't come here lol. - There are some 1-star reviews here complaining about the business being difficult about payments using Groupon. My payment experience (even though I didn't use Groupon) was also a bit awkward so I'm not surprised about these reviews.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance for highlights and styling. I received an email confirmation/reminder the day prior to my appointment. Upon arrival for my appointment, I checked in and was immediately asked to take a seat and someone would be with me shortly. After being offered coffee twice and listening to staff plan their breaks with the person at the front counter, I was told they don't have a stylist to do my highlights. They never called me to let me know that they couldn't keep the appointment. Had they called in advance, I wouldn't have shown up for the appointment. What a waste of a morning.

If you are a woman, DO NOT GO there. He doesn't know how to cut women's hair and you will be disappointed. While cutting, he did not check whether it's the same length on both sides or not and he just kept on cutting. Moreover, while washing your hair, he isn't gentle AT ALL! He pulls your hair while combing and doesn't stop or anything. If it was possible to give him a zero, I would.

The worst service I ever received at a hair salon. I ended up leaving before even getting started. I purchased a groupon for highlights and as soon as I walk in the receptionist approaches me and starts adding additional costs - 150$ for toner (unheard of price for toner) 100$ for a “necessary conditioning treatment”, thick/long hair extra 100$, and the list goes on and on. Before I know it I am paying more then ten times the price of the actual groupon itself and that’s before counting tax and tip. Supper unprofessional and unwelcoming and simply just money hungry and desperate. Over all disturbed by the services I received, and ended up walking out extremely upset by their customer service and waisting my time and money. Would never recommend this salon for any services.

I went there originally for red balayage and I was talked out of doing caramel balayage which I didn’t mind at all . Nour that works there did what he called a balayage however, what I have gotten wasn’t a balayage but just stranded highlights. He just did highlights under my hair so I don’t see the mess from back . I had to go to another salon and fix it because it was nothing close to balayage . Besides , I lost so much hair because it literally fried . In my opinion, if a expert seen a hair that couldn’t hold on bleach , they should have refused my service .Unfortunately they didn’t and I regret it so much .

Ahmed is one of the best barbers I have ever been to. I have curly hair and have had some bad hair cuts over the years. Ahmed knows how to cut curly hair so that it grows out and looks good for weeks. I started going to Flawless because it was next to my office. Even though we are no longer in that building, I will keep coming back for the high quality service and great haircut.

Conning people by giving a groupon deal. I bought a groupon deal but when I went to get a haircut they refused to use groupon saying its only for the first time customers. I came back home and did not come across any such conditions on groupon. Really sad to see a good reputed salon conning people to make money.

We purchased a shellac manicure from Groupon expecting to get a shellac manicure. The technician was sweet and did her best, despite some imperfections.... but the owner was extremely rude. On our way out, the owner stopped my girlfriend and told her that we are taking advantage of them and that we have to pay extra charges because they removed her old manicure. If you are providing a manicure, it is understood that you are cleaning her nails before putting a new coat on. Secondly, do not provide "additional services" without making your customers aware of those charges. Thirdly, if your nail technician is slow and takes 2 hours to complete a manicure, it is not up to the customer to compensate for time. Not to mention, all their nail polish bottles were empty and we had to change colors on the other hand to complete the manicure. From the other reviews, I see that they have treated other customers with Groupon purchases similar to us. If you don't want to provide good service because the service was purchased on Groupon, then do not put your services on Groupon. I would definitely not recommend this business nor will I ever be going back for any other services.

Very horrible experience with this salon. Firstly, she gave me an appointment at a certain day and time. I come to my appointment and she starts lecturing me saying this isn’t your time, but thankfully I had messages as proof then she proceeds to say it was a misunderstanding. Made me wait 30 minutes which I was okay with to then lecture me again about HER OWN MISTAKE. Also first time I went, one of her colleagues took me to the cash and tried to charge me over charge me 60$. They were being rude and thought I wanted to pay less than my service. They couldn’t even do basic math. All in all horrible service.

Have been going to Omar's since he opened up, name changed to Flawless now due to his expansion. He gives a good haircut when in good mood but has attitude problems. To him, he is the king of his castle and customers are not. I and my 5 year old son have been going to his salon since he opened but doesn't remember most of his clients, fair enough since he probably gets a lot or he just doesn't care his regulars. Went there last week, called him up if I needed to make an appointment as now after the changes, he expects to come with an appt. So I did make an appt that afternoon. Went in 10mins early to my appt., was busy with a client, his other female assistant asked me if I had an appt and asked me to wait as he was just finishing up. In walked another regular client without an appt, asked if he could get a quick haircut and he took him instead of me as I still had 5mins to my appt. Omar took a long time to cut his hair, chatting about his family and such, knew he was a regular then. In walked another client with an appt as well. I waited 10mins past my appt, then he called me, no apologies, asked me how I wanted, I told him short but not too short. Within 3 or 4 mins, he was done with me. Didn't bother to ask me while cutting how short he should go, and he didn't even show me with his mirror the back or the sides. He rushed through, did his clean, and asked me how I was going to pay. I asked him why he cut so short and his answer was are you not happy? Well, I told him my wife isn't going to be happy at all with this cut. I didn't bother to give him a tip and I just walked out, thinking to myself that this was last time I am stepping in his business. He just lost me and my son as regular customers. He is not cheap, at $20 a cut and $5 as tip, I wanted to help him out but this guy really needs to get his act together. I don't care what his problems are, or if he is having a bad day, or rushing to catch up to other clients, you just don't treat your customers like crap.

Ahmed is by far the best barber I’ve been to, his skill and attention to detail every time I get my haircut is phenomenal. This quality of cut would cost you 80$ in Toronto, he’s a legend and the reason I drive an hour to get a cut. The other staff are very nice and the salon itself has a great look and feel. Definitely worth going to, guaranteed you’ll leave feeling great!

I bought a groupon for the Keratin treatment as my hair is very big and curly and I could not believe how beautiful it turned out! I had this done years ago and did not notice a difference, but this time amazing at this place! I was worried my curls would be all gone but my curls are amazing and all the frizz is gone and my hair is so soft! I never could straighten my hair on my own and now it takes me no time at all! Highly recommend going her and seeing Razan! Attention to detail like none! Going back for a hair cut ! And this is my husbands account.

Van, nail technician was amazing and nice.. However, overall service that I received from the salon was terrible.. So, friend and I moved nearby and found this place on Groupon. Before purchasing the deal, we called to see if it was okay to use Groupon deal, and was told that if we have yet purchased Groupon deal, they were going to match the deal in store. And on the day of our appointment, (prior to appointment) we once again confirmed that they were going to match the Groupon promotion (Groupon had special promotion on the date of our appointment @ 30.23$). However, when we were ready to pay, the gentlemen insisted that he had to pay HST on original price of the service. And this would go the same for anyone who purchased the item on Groupon... So, we were charged 9.32$ as HST for $30.23 service... I did my own math at the counter and tried to ask for explanation but my friend insisted that we just pay and never return again.... It sucks because the nail technician did a pretty good job.

Services has to be rated in two ways 1) as a regular customer 2) a coupon voucher customer. When we went in as a coupon customer, they were very rushed through the service of a men's haircut and women's hair cut,style, keratine treatment and full hair highlights. While the non coupon experience seems to have had a different treatment alltogether. But all in all a friendly salon. Edit: in response to the salon response below, I was on time for 3PM appointment and not late ???? your 330 appointment had come in early by 30mins and that was your last appointment for the day. Sorry if I happened to overhear conversation among the salon staff discussing this. But again, the staff are very friendly and know what they are doing in terms of their trade.

Wanted to buy a Groupon for this place but after reading all the bad reviews and then the responses from the owner, I am utterly surprised that this business still has a client base. So sad to see an owner responding to legitimate complaints publicly the way they are on here. I rather take my business elsewhere before dealing with their problematic attitude.

Started with my stylist brushing my hair in which she ripped out my helix piercing. She cut my hair only by taking the scissors straight across, didn’t put it into sections nor did she touch my bangs. She was distracted and watching someone else do a hair style. She spent the most time frying my hair with a hair dryer and straightener. Seemed like no one knew what they were doing. Usually only go to one hair stylist but since I moved I went out on a limb to trust this place and am very disappointed. Don’t go here.

Edited to respond to owner: My appointment was Thursday July 22nd at 4:35pm with Razan. Not impressed.. I went for a haircut two weeks ago and asked for a few inches off, LONG layers in the back and in the front - pretty standard. The top half of my hair is extremely short while the bottom half is long. When I saw the layering I said "wow that's short," and the hairdresser responded by saying "no, it's long" and showed me a chunk of hair from the bottom half of my head. It's not like they can glue the hair back on lol so I let her finish. The cost of the haircut was $70 after tax which is comparable to downtown prices but without the quality of the downtown service. As you can see from the photos, these are not long layers, and the hair closest to my face is longer than the layers in the back.

I went to this salon for my birthday to treat myself for a mani pedi. In the beginning, I enjoyed the atmosphere. I wanted an extension on my nails and mentioned i was new to the dipping powder process. I showed my lack of satisfaction of the sparkle nail polish and mentioned it to the lady doing my nails. The receptionist asked me for my feedback and I mentioned how the nail polish was see-through and I wasn't informed that it would be the case - the nail sample was misleading and wasn't a good representation of the end result. Two ladies quickly accosted me and started arguing with me blaming me for everything that went wrong. One of them lied that I said i love them very much. I was disappointed by this dishonesty and felt disrespected. I also noticed that i was charged $5 dollars extra, however the lady didn't mention any of that when i asked for the upgrade. I was too drained by then to continue the conversation.I wanted my birthday to be a special day, especially in such a difficult time like the pandemic. EDIT in response to the owner: There was NO miscommunication! I explicitly told the staff what i wanted about the end results and chose the nail polish based on the nail sample the technician showed me. I also explained it was my first time for the dipping process. However, she did not explain how the finish would have been. When asked for my feedback, I explained how i felt honestly and was aggressively approached by two of the staff in which one of them lied. That 5 dollars overcharged was not from the french tips as I NEVER got any(see attached pics) - It was a transparent "pink" nail polish which I never agreed to I also asked them to explained the price breakdown in the beginning in which they never mentioned any 5 dollars extra. Honesty is a virtue.

I bought a groupon for a facial and I would NOT return. The facial itself was really basic. My esthetician cut my right chin then went on to spray something on it without warning and to cover it up she sprayed other parts of my face which was extremely uncomfortable and cold. My facial wasn’t enjoyable or relaxing because she never turned off or dimmed the lights/played soft music, instead pop music was played... The room was extremely small and tight. When the esthetician would move around the bed she would constantly hit it. I rated this a two star because the esthetician/staff was nice.

I went to this salon thinking it was going be great since most the reviews are good, I asked for hair dye and one of the staff told me that my hair is damaged and is been dyed black before even though I told her I haven’t but she was convinced.. I still wanted a nice fresh haircut for the summer, I asked for a bob cut and she literally said “doesn’t suit you ill do something else nice for you” I left with layered hair that is disproportionate and it’s a very old style almost seemed like half of the staff didn’t know what they’re doing and I paid 90 for what?? Now I have to wait a couple of months for my hair to grow healthy after what they did to me. Please be careful do not go here, you can pay same amount and leave happy.

I bought a Groupon for a spa facial at the recommendation of my co-worker. It was absolutely fantastic. I didn't have high expectations because I have had fairly bad experiences at multiple spa's with facials. My skin is very sensitive and I have a bit of acne. Flawless uses natural facial products, and my skin loved them. I went back a month later for another facial and had the same great result :) The salon is super clean, professional, and the staff are sweethearts. I highly recommend!

I've been to mutiple salons across Ottawa and never had such awful service. The stylist made me do part of my own hair and didn't really know what she was doing for the rest of it. Honestly, I would've been better off doing it all myself and saving myself the time, money and condensing behaviour. The worst part was that when I informed the owner about this and the impact it had he just couldn't care less. I would never go back.
