My regular place for a haircut. Pros - great staff. Hair always looks awesome, I go to the same girl every time and she always makes me look my best. Cons - it's a 35 dollar haircut. It's a premium barbershop for sure. If you keep your hair short,it gets expensive.

the hair dresser was so patient with my son who is Autistic and ADHD so he moves around and scratches and generally just doesn't sit still. she was so patient with him. talked to him about what she was doing next and was very calm. she was awesome

Not my first time here, and most of the time, the westside location is much better than the mall. My most recent visit was to the mall location. When i walked in and sat down, two different barbers approached me. The first one i dont believe could even speak english, the second one very little. It's not very reassuring when you dont know if the barber even understands what you want done to your hair. Secondly, i very much doubt they were actually barbers. I over heard the first girl with her client, and he was very nervous because she didnt even know what she was doing. Myself, i got a pretty bad haircut, especially considering it was only a side shave and it still cost me $25. The quality here is laughable, but scary at the same time. Will not be returning.

This is definitely the place to go for a stylish haircut that you don’t need to book a week in advance. Not sure if I can give them a bad review for being busy but there isn’t much seating available and sometimes over an hour wait for a haircut. Might be best to check in first then grab lunch somewhere on a busy day.

I will have to say. Truly the worst haircut I ever received. Showed a picture to stylist on what I was working in growing my hair out to. She said she understood. I took my glasses off which renders me blind and when I put them back on it was nothing at all what I wanted. And I also had a beard trim which was cut crooked. Lost 3" of beard to straighten out. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ive been coming here since I moved to Medicine Hat in 2017. The stylists are friendly and do a great job. The mirrors have tvs to catch up on the sports news and you have a selction of drinks and magazines while you wait. If you need your ears lowered this is the place to go!

Had a hot head shave and hot face shave. My hairdresser did a good job with the head shave but not that good with the face. I would not get the face shave again. Be prepared to wait as it is busy. Book online beforehand.

Been here a few times. Over time service has significantly declined. Things get done in a hurry rather than well done. New hairdressers don't know what they are doing. Your hair, unless you volunteer, is not a training ground to end up with holes and chunks of hair.

The service was really great. I came in near close and it was a little dicey as to whether I'd be able to get in that day. But staff stayed in touch with me the whole time and let me know how it was going. Tommy Gun's always has great hospitality, but this really took the cake. I was able to get in as one of the last of the day, but even had I not, the staff's communication made sure I had no surprises.

Now, I've been to several places, and in my humble opinion Emma is the best barber in town. Consistently perfect haircut. Showed a picture of the cut, was firm did not want to loose the length and the girl Kelsey took it all off! My son was not confident enough to speak up and I remained in the waiting area. She took the clipper to it rather than scissors obviously very inexperienced. The cut was nothing what we asked for. He had been growing his hair for a long time and now he has to start all over! Not impressed one bit! This is not the first time they have skewed up but I was willing to give them another chance. Guess I shouldn’t have.

Glad I listened to the Google reviews. I didn't have time to book an appointment with my regular hairdresser, due to a last minute appointment, so I took a chance and went to Tommy Guns at 9am. Jen did a great job, she was definitely an experienced hairdresser and didn't skip a beat. I barely had to direct her at all, she didn't even bother to ask if I wanted clippers, bonus points for knowing the answer is no. I have medium length hair, not a clipper cut, and she did a great job. Thank you Jen.

I decided to give them a shot today, something different. Had no idea what to expect. Asked for a cut, beard trim and shave. Got the cut, it's okay. Got the beard trim, it's okay. Clippers for the shave??? And left with uneven side burns??? I was charged 43$. Not sure how the pricing works. And not sure what I really paid for. So at this point I am deeply disatified. I'm okay with paying a bit more for exceptional service and quality. Pretty awful when you pay more than double for poor quality and service.????????

I used to love this place, but went recently and won't be back. The staff seem to all be different. I had a stylist named Ariel, and she was mediocre at best. The staff used to be friendly and know how to cut hair, but Ariel seemed more interested in chatting with others than worrying about customer service. I also didn't particularly appreciate overhearing her discuss her sex life. I found that super unprofessional. Hire some better staff.

Awful. Went in with a mop of hair and a nice beard and left with a terrible haircut and no beard. I just wanted a haircut but my stylist took it upon her self to just “straighten” out my beard. She messed it up so bad I just shaved it all off. Very disappointed. Won’t be using Tommy Guns again

Booked online which was convenient, but did not indicate prices when booking and ended up being $44 before a tip for a quick ~30 minute cut and beard trim. Deceiving when it says to add a beard trim to any cut yet they charge steeply for it. Here's the kicker- online, it indicates that the traditional and clean cut are the same thing, but the clean cut has a straight edge shave. So I book the traditional as I figure it should be cheaper then.. nope, $10 more. And $9 for a 5 minute beard trim? Way overpriced, was rushed through, local barbers take much more time with you and charge $15-20 less. It's not that the barber did a bad job, she was skilled but $44 for a chain-store cut? That is ridiculous. Won't be going back.

My haircut (High skin fade) with beard/mustache trim, was done terribly. This was done at the Prince George location. When done at the Abbotsford location, it was done well. Worst $60 ever spent. Very disappointed!

Do not get your beard trimmed here. Ada cut my hair and it was ok, not great blending. Ada suggested a beard trim and destroyed the hair on my face. Firstly a trim isn't a full style, a full beard shouldn't be turned into a goatee when a trim is offered. The mustache area was "trimmed" with the normal shaver, which is large and doesn't fit correctly. Meaning she left negative space where there should have been hair.... terrible... look at the mustache... is that professional? I do a much better job for free, maybe because I care? Secondly, the neckline was extremely uneven, forcing her to go even higher. She blamed the bad lighting in the corner stall and it was dark, but still..... So now i have a completely shaved face and only wanted a hair cut.... thanks.... Take a peek at it lol, deserves 0 stars

first time my partner went here i wish we would of grabbed the name of the lady who did his hair because she did a really awesome job. yesterday we went in and a guy name Adwin(probably not spelling it right). did his hair. It is probably one of the worst hair cuts i've ever seen on a man. it's poorly faded about 3/4 around his head. then done with a one the rest of his head all the way to the long part. the way he cut the long part of his hair, it looks like a bad toupee sitting on the top of his head. The only way to fix it is to just shave everything off so waist of 30$. Honestly, some people should NOT be a hair dresser and this guy should not because his work is awful.

Expensive for haircuts but not really any different than other kids salons. My husband got a shave and haircut and felt really pampered. It was expensive but it was a great experience for him and a great gift to make him feel pampered and relaxed. They did a great job on both haircuts for my son and husband. I loved the waiting area. They had multiple TVs and iPads loaded with games set up to keep the kids entertained while we waited for dad to be done.

Best barbershop in St. Albert , staff are awesome , this place is great. Highly recommended, I mean what you need to know about this place it’s a high end barbershop so don’t go there if you only have 15 dollars in your pocket lol you ll probably get a shampoo done with that lol. But it’s worth the money what I really like about this place , you get greeted the minute you step into the shop then they offer you a beverage , they ask you for your information to put it in their system then you wait till you name is called so I like the way to do it. It seems professional I really like this place oh ya also the chairs they use are antique barber chairs which it makes you feel like you are in a barbershop 100 years ago. Also they shampoo you hair after haircut which is nice because usually I like to continue on with my day after a haircut without being itchy all over my body. So I give this place 5 stars honestly they deserve it I ended up paying 40 dollars including tip but I feel like my money was well spent . Thank you tommy guns. Keep up the good work

I just left your Summit Centre location in Kamloops at 3:30pm today. Last time I was there the 5 star service was bad. This time it was worse. Was I offered a drink? Nope. Was I offered a shampoo, condition and scalp massage? Nope Was I offered a remote control to watch TV? Nope Was I offered a rinse and style? Begrudgingly Was I offered product? Nope Lousy job Tommy Guns - I paid $27 for a $15 First Choice haircut. What are some other 'nope' questions? Did the stylist attempt to make conversation with me? Nope. Unless you call telling me the refrigerator smells rancid and they don't want to put their food in it conversation. Was my hair washed? Nope. I received a spray with a water bottle. Was the price discounted being I did not get the time and product used for a wash, condition and scalp massage? Nope. Charged full price. Do you use high quality products? Nope. Hairspray in the lobby sells for $20 but the hairspray used by stylists is Finesse brand from Walmart - $2.49 a bottle. There is nothing worse in the service industry than places like yours that sells themselves as luxury but provides the service of dollar store.

Awesome Haircut and Stylist who I would highly recommend. Been here several time before. Questionable behavior and attitude from another Sylist who approached us in the middle of a haircut. Also, not the first time this girl has lashed out emotionally. Highly Aggressive and confrontational and started berating me in front of staff and other patrons. I would absolutely go back to get a haircut there. However this one young girl in particular with serious behavioral issues. Maybe some further training on communication or even therapy would help this young lady. Embarassing, as I dont even know this girl or have ever seen her outside of this business. Hard to imagine she is a positive influence for morale around the shop.

My husband came in here today, and checked in at the booking tablet and it said 40 min wait, it then went down to 20 mins while he was waiting which is fine and then it said now, so obviously you sit there and think you will be taken next ! nope 15 mins later still sat, 20 mins still sat and then it came up on the screen 1 hour 50 mins wait. He then went to speak to someone and she said she was not sure, so the hair dresser came across and they did not know what the problem was with the tablet booking system. Maybe technology is not that great sometimes! my husband left with no haircut after spending over one and half hours sitting in Tommy Guns !
