Great service and great staff. Even when I wasn't happy with my colour, Liz invited me back to fix it. Tracy at the front is every salon's dream. Expertly handled my rebook and made sure I was satisfied at the end. First time in years that I'm getting compliments on my hair!!!

I decided to go gray, a frightening thought! Liz is such a colour expert, she did an amaaazing job blending in the racing stripe and giving the right highlights/colour tones for the transition—she is extremely knowledgeable about colour and also has a great intuition. Dominic completed the process by giving me just the right haircut. I always walk out of this place feeling like a million bucks!

Needing colour correction desperately, I booked to see Liz (solely based on positive reviews online) in hopes my hair problem could be solved. Not only did she do an amazing job fixing my blond colour, she also gave me a beautiful baliyage look afterwards. Nin did my trim and it was equally great. I've never written a review before this but felt it a must given how good the experience was and that it was reviews alone which led me to discover this gem of a salon in the first place! I already booked my next appointment and highly recommend the services / staff.

Heard good things about the salon. However, the first time I walked in to get information regarding people, prices and such I was met with such a sneer that I wouldn't want to go there at all. I was looking for a new salon where me and my friend can go because ours became bad. As I walked in, the lady looked me up and down, grimaced out a smile and as soon as I mentioned getting the idea of prices almost rolled her eyes. I had to literally milk her for the information. Then she said "you can always go to our junior stylist". Gave me his card and raised one eyebrow kinda like saying are you done wasting my time? To point out: they were not busy. Basically I am going to keep looking for a place with better customer service. Gave a 3 because haven't actually gotten a haircut so they might be good.

Just had a perfectly executed cut done by Nim. Shoulder length layers, great shape and movement. My hair is dead straight so the cut needs to be exacting, she nailed it. I'll be back for colour, Liz's colouring skill is well known.

FINALLY! Jonathan is FANTASTIC! I have curly hair and he did a great job! That's really difficult for us curly girls! Living in Fort McMurray for 4 years and receiving ghastly haircuts which just resulted in tears, ponytails & hats, I'm wearing it down and getting compliments! YAH! ????

If you want amazing colour Liz is your answer! She creates blonde that is neither brassy nor ashy but perfectly balanced and suited to your skintone. I see several reviewers have complained about the customer service of this salon, I have to disagree. True this isn't the swanky have a glass of wine and let us valet park your car experience, but they do have beverages on hand and provide exceptional scalp massages. The price range is competitive with the Toronto market and they provide superior follow up service. I would highly recommend Liz and this salon to friends.

Great salon, very personal service, every time great suggestions and attitude, not cheap but you look very stylish and will have a lot of compliment later form all your colleges and friends (husbands as usually don't see the difference on your head anywise :) Colorists are very professional (especially LIZ), cutting is very gentle and right one (Nin is one of my favorite). When you need to look great and very stylish Dominic is one of the best stylist there, will play with every hair on your head to make you happy. I am the customer for 13 years, I tried different salons when it was too far or no time, every time was upset and thinking why did I not wait and book an appointment with THE VILLAGE SALON.

Went there for a simple hair cut. Didn’t know all the stylists there at the time we’re super old and not trying to be rude. But I don’t think they ever took a course EVER. needless to say my hair cut is soooo bad. Will never go there again.

Really nice workers who do quality work. They offer coat service, which is a very nice touch in the winter. Been going for better part of a year now, and have had 2 women cut my hair, both of which were excellent and a pleasure to chat with. Reasonably priced. Do recommend

Dominic is simply the best! I travel about an hour and 20 minutes for my appointment and is so worth it!Liz can fix any color mistake you can imagine and get it just right and Kelvin will give you the best head massage ever.

used to do my hair with Liz for a few years but this year she suddenly could not get my color right, it went from blond to green to purple, and she would tell me my pigment changed or whatever else happened...and actually said to keep it as is or not come back, she is out of options :( oh well.. i should add the color i used to get didn't change. Being a busy professional I could not afford to keep redyeing long hair and toning it time after time, it was looking embarrassing by 4 attempted colors that failed. I finally switch to another salon in Etobicoke, Noi Folino, and from first try the hairdresser fixed my purple/red/strange color to its lovely blond i always had. Now 3 months later its flawless blond again no issues. Probably not the place to go for your blond color.

I was referred to the salon from a friend that had a great experience. I received 15%off my first visit because I was referred. I had an amazing color and highlights from Liz and a wicked cut from Nin. It is a little pricey but well worth the money. They go to hair shows and take classes all the time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!! Great job!

I had a bad experience in terms of hair colour. The hair stylist absolutely ruined my hair and colour. I was pretty much devastated when leaving the salon. Will not return and I do not recommend.
