Worst hair dresser Ever!!! During the holidays I went to Stella’s Hair Salon to get a haircut done. I told Stella exactly what I wanted to be done and she did not listen and decided to do her own thing. Stella cut my hair entirely uneven everywhere. I have short hair strains mixed with long ones. Now, I have to go to another hair stylist to try and fix the damage she has caused.

I went here a few months ago with my mom for a trim and ombré. Instead I got crapy highlights and an uneven hair cut. We spent like half the day there I don’t know why it took so long or why i paid 200$!! for me to get what I didn’t want! The other lady also ruined my moms beautiful long hair! She cutt it so uneven and gave her bangs she did not ask for! I want a refund for this horrible hair cut that still hasn’t grown back.

WORST HAIRDRESSER EVER!!! a disaster is what that woman did to me in my head. Instead of trimming my hair she cut off all my hair all badly cut and uneven. A disaster! she doesn't have good manners either, very rude woman. Really bad manners. Not professional.

WORST HAIRDRESSER EVER !!!!! I told her that I just wanted her to trim the damaged ends and this woman does not know the difference between trimming and cutting off the hair, I went there with my hair around the waist and left the salon with my hair by the shoulders totally uneven all over, short hair Strains mixed with long ones a complete disaster that not even I would do. She didn't listen to what I wanted and decided to make a complete mess in my head that she wanted. this woman has no good manners at all with people and she is extremely rude, much less she has customer service. This woman learned nothing more than to make complete disasters to clients. Please be aware of this woman and the prices that she manages are very high for the low quality of products that she uses. She has done the same to several people and did not comment on the disaster in the color that she done on me. BE AWARE OF THIS WOMAN!!!

First time visit to Stella's and she utterly destroyed my hair style. I have had the same style forever, and I told Stella exactly what I wanted done, but she did what she wanted to do and now I have very little hair left. I called in to make an appointment and was told I could not have the time I wanted, but that I could have an earlier time. When I got there, I had to wait an entire hour before I was taken which led me close to the time I originally asked for less half an hour. During the session, Stella was preoccupied with watching the World Cup and taking phone calls. I told her time and again exactly what I wanted, but she went ahead and kept cutting until I now have hardly any hair left. She cut the left side of my hair way above my ear, which was supposed to be covered by my hair to the lobe, and the right side came lower and was left a lot longer than the other side. So after I got home and really saw the shoddy job, I went back the next day to have her try to 'fix' it. Well she really did a number on me that time. Instead of trying to fix up the sides and make them somewhat presentable, she started cutting from the top and back of my head. Now, there is no consistency to the cut. Some hair is cut high, some to the halfway point of the back of my head, and others go to the back of my neck. The hair line, which should be cut straight across, is anything bu. The left side is lower than the right, with a wave higher in the middle. There is a big gap of hair missing on the right side of the back of my head. I wanted the hair on the back of my head to be all one length and to have the sides to be tapered to the lobe of my ear. I have very little hair left, and it looks ridiculous. Also, the excuse I was given was that 'we didn't understand each other.' I have been getting this style for over 30 years now, and everywhere else has gotten it right by the same way I explained it to them, so how could Stella not understand? I simply could not understand after the glowing reviews here, how this could have happened. Now I notice that some of the reviews are by Stella and other family members. I wish I had known the reviews were padded. Stella doesn't seem to know how to cut, and I won't be going back. I just hope that I can help to spare someone else the same travesty that I have gone through. It is going to take at least year to grow to the point that something can be done with it.

I had a appointment at 11:30am but they called me early at 11:am but when I got there they made me wait two hours more and I asked this question many times before my highlights that how much will you charge but she keep Saying that it depends how much colour she would use and their heights cost 80$ And it’s my right to know before how much I would charge for my hair so at time of paying my bill she said it’s 285$ and I was shocked because it’s like a lot of money without even confirming from me first that I can able to afford this much or not and it’s like tricking customers and make them fool. I would never pay that much money for just highlights. If you go this place make sure you know first how much she is going to charge for it.

I have been going to Stella's for my highlights, lowlights and cut for many years now. Stella is thoughtful, careful and listens to what I want. She takes her time to determine the best color and cut, never in an rush (believe me, I have had some terrible experiences with other hairdressers). I recommend her to anyone, she is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%!! Thank you Stella, I trust one else but you to take care of my hair.
