I thoroughly enjoyed my haircutting appointment with Kim, the owner of probably the most beautiful salon I've seen. She is an energetic and smart lady who loves to share her reflections on life. She listened to what I was looking for in a haircut and gave me a simple style that works well, plus useful advice on how to keep my hair healthy and looking good.

Michalena was amazing. We were visiting from Vancouver. My wife went there using a groupon for cut, conditioner, style and 10 foils. Michalena was knowledgeable, asked my wife what she wanted, but also gave her her opinion. End result was stunning. Very happy with the results. We will return when we visit Victoria again.

Absolutely loved getting my hair done here! Since i dyed my hair mostly by myself, it kind of turned into a mess that i never really liked. Kim took into consideration the history of what i did to my hair and carefully turned it into something that i love! My hair feels wonderful, the color is so unique and the cut she gave me suits me so well. I've gotten many compliments on my hair and i definitely recommended you go to Kim! Shes a very sweet woman and very pleasant to talk to :)

My hair is long and go for a trim here on a regular basis. Getting greyer every year. Owner Kim is very pleasant and tells me not to color as it blends in nicely with my natural hair. The salon is very clean . Have purchased the mint shampoo and love it.

Had such an amazing experience! I had received a terrible perm a while back and went into Simplified for a consultation and to get my bangs cut. During that first appointment I was very nervous since my recent bad experience, but Kim (the owner) was so sweet and genuine. She didn't try to sell me anything or push me into the treatment. When I got the perm done she was so careful and made sure I was comfortable with the rod sizes and even used a weaker perm solution since my hair is fine and I was worried about the damage. She was also very meticulous with placing the rods in a way that my hair fell more naturally. In the end it really improved the look of the waves that I wanted and she even convinced me to go through with getting bangs that I was unsure about and they look awesome! Above all else, Kim is super friendly, professional, and clearly knows what she is doing! I am definitely going to keep coming back!

The worst haircut I have ever recieved. It is uneven and when pointed out to the hairdresser she stated that she didn't know how my hair grew... Regardless of how my hair grew it should be even at the end my haircut. Overpriced and a horrid haircut!

Awful customer service. Received a very uneven haircut and when I tried to have it corrected the next time they were open I was told the only available time slot just happened to be at the end of the day when I was unavailable (or in 4 days). When asked for a refund it was refused. I ended up going to another salon to fix the mistake.

Absolutely incredible people and incredible service!! They did the hair for my wedding, and were amazing! Even brought in make-up artists when they heard we hadn't found one yet. I would highly recommend! (This is Dustin's wife, NOT Dustin. :p)

My Fiance had his hair cut and it looks so hot! She did a fantastic job of shaping his hair to fit his head. So after years of not going to a hair dresser due to fear from an awful experience I had, after seeing her work and the ambiance of her shop I felt comfortable trying it again.. I was in the best hands, she is very knowledgeable about hair and gave me tips on hair nutrition, she only cut off what I asked. My hair is many lengths but she trimmed them all and didnt just cut it all one length. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner she sells that her son makes and it has made a huge difference in my hair. We are both very happy with her work, in other words we have or hair dresser!

Terrible customer service, the receptionist is incredibly rude over the phone and does not know how to be respectful to customers. I had a good haircut the first time I went there, second time was okay but nothing special.. I won't be going back as I can get much better service at other salons in Victoria. It's a shame the front desk leaves that impression and ends up losing a customer.

Went to get layers in my hair done, when the lady was finished she curled my hair which seemed so nice but when i had my hair straight the next day i noticed my layers were way off from each side.. I asked her to have the layers frame my face and she put some layers on the left but none on the right side.. when i called to ask if it can please be fixed the lady said they were busy all day and when i told them when works for me to come in.. they happened to be too busy for the next two weeks.. Not impressed, awful customer experience. I wish I could give them zero stars. Don't go here if you want a great job done.

The decore was really modern yet inviting. A clean environment and I was impressed by it. Kim was also very easygoing and didn't make the haircut long and awkward. You could say nothing wrong, she just went with it. Haircut was also what I asked for and price was fair. Bought a mini of her shampoo from her own hairline. It actually is really gentle on my sensitive scalp (and I mean disgustingly sensitive).

My little niece's reaction when I walked her to school this morning: an awed ""PRINCESS HAIR." I have a lot of very long, fine, unevenly wavy hair that often inspires stylists to be creative in ways that leave me sad. Tatjana took the time to work with my hair and figure out what would be good for it, yet match my home hairstyling limitations. You know that great feeling when you can just relax and let your stylist do what they think best? Tatjana gave me that feeling on the first visit and I was totally right to have it. I will be back again (and again). The salon itself is immaculate but interesting - a clean, attractive space with lots to catch the eye. If you are looking at Google maps, the location may be daunting you, but there is lots of parking and it is right on the #8 and #11 bus routes. Added plus: the Gorge Waterway is right there, so you can walk the lovely pathway afterwards and give strangers a chance to admire your hair (I did!). No negatives - this was a great experience.

My new favourite go-to salon! Awesome service! she did my short pixie haircut! It's great. She did a great job. I wasn't afraid of going shorter so we took off my damaged hair, and it gave it some texture. She really knows what she's doing!!! ???? I will definitely BE BACK!!!!
