I had a great experience here. I had not been in a hair salon in several years and was greeted amicably and without judgement. The place is quite trendy with upscale equipment and clean. The hairdresser made conversation the whole time and was really nice. Unfortunately I don't remember her name... ! She gave me exactly what i was looking for and she even gave me tips on how to diy at home with my flat iron. Would love to go back to this place if ever in Edmonton.

Went there based on previous reviews on the place, and they really are a 5 star place. Tia, (my hairdresser) did an amazing job on my hair and also educated me on how to take better care of it! I can tell she's really passionate when it comes to doing hair and engaging the client. The products they use are excellent and I would highly recommend giving them a visit for your next haircut.

I have been coming to Revive seeing owner, Nicole, exclusively for six years. I have thick, coarse, very curly, long hair that I wear straight. I had countless issues with breakage, discoloration, and inferior product usage for years before finding Revive. From my consult on day one to my most recent appointment a few weeks ago, Nicole has made it very clear that the integrity of my hair is the number one priority. This core value is what makes the entire team at Revive the best, hands down. Others talk the talk but Revive walks the walk. My hair has never been in better shape, is longer than ever, and I have never been happier with it. I’ve learned so much and it’s easy to tell that every single member of this team is a true professional and loves what they do. Co-owner, Mark, is no exception. Mark, Nicole, and the entire team contribute to a perpetually positive atmosphere and it’s truly refreshing. My boyfriend even switched from his long term barber to Revive, two years ago. He sees Alisha monthly and is always very happy with her outgoing personality and perfect cuts. Neither of us will ever go elsewhere and highly recommend that you don’t either! ????

I found Revive Hair Loft by chance, and it honestly felt like it was meant to be! I walked in after checking out their Instagram page and was able to have a consultation with a stylist immediately. I booked an appointment for a cut/colour within the next week. Tia is an amazing stylist. While she was doing my hair she was explaining everything she was doing. She explained the products to me and made suggestions based on my hair type. I never felt like I was being sold to or having products pushed on me. She really listened to what my goals were in regards to my hair and made suggestions. I highly recommend this salon. I have definitely found my new place! I love my hair and the staff at Revive is wonderful.

So I went in with bad box colour, length past my shoulders and NO IDEA as to how to deal with my hair. I am middle aged, so thinning and white hair are a couple more issues. I got Ayla as a stylist. If I could give a ten star rating, I would. Not only did she make me look AMAZING with my haircut, she chose an incredible colour that really sets off the blue in my eyes. I gave her carte blanche, because I sure as hell didn't go to school...SHE did. As I sat there, asking question after question, she had answer after answer, advice and even taught me the correct way to use a hair dryer. As well as Ayla being so fantastic, the entire rest of the team was very friendly, helpful and NICE. I am SO impressed. I will ALWAYS come back here and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do too. They are actually NICE in there, you guys!

We have all had a bad salon experience, once or twice, myself especially. Before I went to Revive, I was terrified of anyone touching my hair. I had a previous experience where it was burned from bleach, leaving me far too afraid to have my hair done by anyone. I bounced from salon to salon, avoiding the experience for as long as possible in between. Then, a friend recommended Revive and I have never looked back. I now see the team at Revive on the regular, along with the rest of my family. I put my identity in their hands and know, no matter what, it will always come out looking great. I would trust any of the stylists to make the right decisions and produce the exact look I want. Nicole, Mark, and the rest of the team should be very proud of the amazing experience they provide every one of their clients. I have been coming here for the past year or so. I always feel welcome. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed with a beverage and a smile. I follow the IG and I can say the staff there love their customers and want you have a safe, relaxing experience. Alisha has been my regular stylist for the past few sessions and she remembers details from our previous chats. She strives to really make sure your service feels personal. She takes the time to listen to what I want and make constructive suggestions to make sure I leave looking beautiful. Some honest points that do not take away from my experience at all but that I think people should know. - this is not a budget studio. Their prices are on par with comparable salons. Don’t expect Great Clips pricing. You really do get what you pay for. But, don’t be afraid to ask for a breakdown of pricing if it’s your first time. It can be hard to be accurate over the phone so ask before you get served. - you get what you put into the experience. I’ve seen other customers just sink into a relaxing experience with not much chatter. Let your stylist know if you want be chatty; from what I’ve seen, they’re happy to oblige. - they have a wonderfully diverse personalities on staff. You may not click with a particular stylist. Don’t be afraid to ask for a different one. They just want you to be happy with how you look. - with the precautions they’ve taken for the pandemic, be patient. They are following the advice of health care professionals and care about our safety.

Switching salons after years with the same stylist is never a comfortable jump, but speaking to Mark & Nicole reassured they had stylists to suit my goals. My appointments have become my little lux getaways from the day to day stress and am honestly BLESSED everytime I get the courtesy call the day prior. It was my first time going to this salon and I had Alisha Thomson as my hair stylist. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an absolutely lovely receptionist who made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. And then as soon as I met Alisha, my nervousness immediately vanished away. She is honestly the most vibrant, beautiful (both inside and out), relatable, funny, accepting, courageous, talented, brilliant, professional and not to mention, the coolest stylist I've ever had in all my 24 years on this earth so far. I saw Jaclyn last week and I have to say that she made me love my natural hair for the first time in years! I’ve been wearing tape in hair extensions for the last 11 years to cover up my damaged hair that made me feel like I needed to wear them in order to go out into public because my hair was so thin and damaged. I’ve never had good luck with hairdressers until now, I used to spend hundreds of dollars just to leave with thinner, shorter hair so eventually I just stopped going and taught my fiancé how to trim my hair ???? he was actually pretty good but my hair was still so damaged with split ends all over. Last week I bit the bullet and went in because I just wanted healthy, gorgeous hair that could finally grow and to ditch the tapes. Jaclyn was incredible at figuring out exactly what I wanted. She gave me an Olaplex treatment and an even healthy haircut, she also recommended several different products that have worked with her. I definitely recommend seeing her, I am so thankful and impressed with what she did for me ❤️ Their prices are excellent for the quality experience that I received and I love how they are open about everything on their website!

I received an email asking for a google review. The salon is clean and the staff are professional... BUT I only come here specifically because of a hairstylist named Caila that works here who I have been following for 14 years. She is the most passionate stylist I have ever had the pleasure of educating and styling me! So letting it be known that if she weren't here I would be leaving to follow her. Outside of Caila, I have had issues booking because my only days off are also the days they are closed and i work 10 - 12 hour days when they are open so i typically email to book. The responses I received from Mark were very stern and lacked customer service. So as long as you don't take the robotic email responses from Mark personally then you should be fine!

Revive Hair Loft is an absolute gem in my neighbourhood. The salon is so laid back and I immediately felt welcome with the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Now for the hair! I used to work in the salon industry as an esthetician, so over the years have tried many stylists and although I’m low maintenance I feel like I have high standards with my cut and colour. Nicole took the time, did a consultation with me and discussed my hair in detail and we had a plan! She explained everything she was doing along the way and the end result was amazing! She took great care to preserve the health of my hair through the whole process which was much appreciated as my hair has been over processed in the past. I’m excited to go back and can’t wait to hit up their upcoming sale and try the Kevin Murphy line they carry. Finally, I got time to write review about my bad experience. I went for my usual hair roots touch up on Friday Nov 8 at 4:30. I know my appointment was booked suddenly as sometimes in life there are sudden changes that happened to your already chalked out plan and I requested the guy (i think his name is Kevin, his pic is on website) that I need to go somewhere ASAP and if my stylist can get roots touch up quickly and I am willing to reduce my service time. But they confronted my saying that we can't compromise our service instead of saying polite words 'We'll try our best'. Being helpless, i couldn't do much and had no choice but said okay. 45 minutes had passed, and my stylist didn't come and i went up there and she said 3 min are still left, and i went back to my station. To my surprise, that same guy showed up to my station and was very RUDE to me saying that 'You can't push my employee'. It's good to know that you care about your employees, but at the same time you need to care about 'CUSTOMERS' too because of whom you're paying yourself and the employees. He has NO RIGHT to talk to me or any customer for that matter in a ticked off tone. Such situations can be handle in a very polite way instead of being rude. I was loving this place and my stylist but sadly that guy made my visit worse by talking rude .

Stylist was very friendly, however, I did not like my cut and she did not confirm with me as to how much I wanted taken off and she took too much. I also had a full hair color which didn't turn out the way I had hoped. My roots are still much lighter then the rest of my hair.

I've only been twice and it was worth it every time. It is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. I went in April and didn't have to go again until August.My roots were long, but the cut still looked good. When my stylist was unable to keep my appointment, they gave me many options on how to rectify the situation, rebook, different stylist etc. I was very happy with their professionalism and I look forward to returning in the future.

I came to this hair salon because quite frankly, I was desperate (and clearly so are you [the reader], since you’re looking at Google reviews). I was a frequent client at a popular chain hair salon but almost always left defeated because my hair never looked how I wanted it to (example: I went in blonde asking to leave dark brown and left honey blonde with the blonde showing after two washes). After not liking my hair from the other hair salon, I boxed dyed red; I'm talking Little Mermaid kinda red. I called Revive to see what they could do for me. Explaining to them I know that I would need a few sessions to get dark brown (my natural colour) with some high and low lights blended on the ends. I was informed that it might take some time in the salon and a solid amount of cash, but my wish could be granted. These people are NOT messing around! I opted for a senior stylist because I was too scared to leave another salon unhappy. I was greeted by my stylist; Alisha shortly after arriving. Let me tell you, she is one bad a$$ stylist, one could even go as far to say she's magical. I was treated like a queen the entire time I was there, ensuring that although I would be spending some mad cash (which I loved they told me straight up, as other salons have quoted me $150 and I leave paying over $300), I would be getting a bang for my buck. Alisha seriously moved her following appointments around so that I could leave exactly how I wanted! Its been a few weeks since my service (I wanted to ensure my review would be accurate so I waited to see how the colour would hold up) and my hair is EXACTLY the same colour as my roots. I'm shocked (but not surprised), this salon is the salon everybody needs to go to. They deserve 10/5 stars. I cannot sing the praises of this salon enough! Do yourself a favour and book an appointment here, if you love your hair and want to look like a boss a$$ b-word, this is your salon!

Today I had my first experience with Revive Hair Loft. Before going there I checked the price at their website and since it was fine I booked an appointment. During the call I was asked about my hair and said that it was long and thick. The service itself was really good, Corie listened to me and explained what we were going to do. I am happy with the cut and the waves. But when I checked out I was a bit confused because the total price turned out to be a bit more than I expected. The thing is that according to the price (I checked it again after I left) my haircut should had been 65, but it was 75. It says in the receipt "hair cut — long and thick", so I do understand that the extra 10 is for long and thick hair. And it would have been fine if anyone had told me about it. But nor during the booking call neither at the reception — noone let me know about this extra for long hair. I know it's just 10 dollars, but I prefer to know what I pay for, not to make assumptions. Again, Corie did a great job! I highly recommend her as a stylist.

UPDATED: I went here in November , in response to the owners reply. The young brunette receptionist is the most unfriendly and unprofessional person I have met. She had a scowl on her face the moment I walked in and when I asked to pay for my products before I paid for my service (as I don’t agree with tipping on hair product) she refused. The hairdresser was really friendly and nice but she doesn’t know how to cut hair I tipper her $10 anyway because she was so nice to talk to and she had kids. But I will never come back her again. Bad service all around. I’m a man by the way and don’t have the highest standards but I know a bad haircut when I get one and that receptionist needs to be fired or at least coached on how to be friendly as it’s literally the only skill required as a receptionist.

I've been here once, for a haircut with Tia. She was really rude to me from the start, despite me trying to make polite small talk. When I tried to tell her the haircut I was coming in for, and what I usually like and don't like in a haircut, she would shut down everything I said with a snarky comment. When she washed my hair, she was so unbelievably rough. The only time she smiled at me was when she took me to the counter to pay. The haircut itself was fine but I would never go back to her again. Giving 3/5 stars because the owners, Mark and Nicole, were so lovely. I've been thinking for a while before posting this review - however, I wanted to leave my honest experience. My experience has nothing to do with the wonderful owners. I may return to this salon in the future and see a different stylist.

I have been at Revive twice now and every time it gets better! Tia is amazinnnggggg and with her simple tips and Olaplex, my hair has seriously never been better (or healthier) ???? The atmosphere is great and the owners treat their staff like family, not just workers. I hate seeing all the negative reviews from people that have not been to the salon (specifically on Facebook) I was actually at the salon when a customer and her boyfriend/husband came in and started belittling the stylist and yelling at the owners (this is where the bad reviews are coming from because the lady wants her money back). I won’t repeat what was said by the individuals but it was shocking to hear two people personally attack another person over a hair color. At that point, Nicole told them to leave, and rightfully so, they had endured enough harassment. Mark and Nicole (the owners) handled the situation a lot better than most people would. Also note that the disgruntled customers hair looked amazing, there was nothing wrong with her hair, she just wanted it a white blonde for less money. You can choose to listen to the negative reviews but it would be your loss. If you want white, bleached hair in one session, go somewhere else, the stylist at Revive will not do it. They want to make sure your hair stays healthy and by doing so, they take their time with the procedures and use extra product to ensure you eventually get the beautiful color you have always wanted ????

I have been a long time client of Nicole Fusco, the sister of the sibling duo that owns and manages Revive Hair Loft, for 7 years. I first met Nicole while working in a salon with her- and was so impressed by her talent, professionalism and energy that I continued to see her when she started up Revive Hair Loft. My hair came to Nicole in a very fragile and brittle state- I had over-processed and damaged hair that was breaking faster than it would grow. Consequently, I was unable to grow my hair past my shoulders prior to seeing Nicole. Nicole was honest and realistic about my goals, long term, with my hair. She set me up on a regime of colouring and cutting that within a year, left me with hair that was easy to maintain and growing- without breaking the bank. Currently I have a relationship with Nicole where I see her approximately four times a year for a cut and colour- I trust her expertise and don’t feel that I have to direct anything during the appointment as far as cut/ colour. She is up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques with the various classes she participates in with her staff. She also has excellent knowledge of the product lines Revive carries- I love the Kevin Murphy products and Moroccan Oil dry shampoo. However, Nicole has never failed me in the basics- I have received various updos and special events styles from her that last days at a time and are so stunningly beautiful. The environment at Revive is another reason I will continue to support this locally owned and operated business- Mark, who runs the business side of Revive, handles their front desk in such a friendly and professional manner. Mark is never too busy to refill a coffee or grab your jacket, and always makes time for friendly conversation. Revive is always clean and relaxing- I find it to be the perfect place to sit with a book while my hair is being coloured and look forward to the relaxing scalp massage that Nicole always doles out. The services are always on time and I find it manageable to book an appointment with adequate notice- even with my shift work schedule. Overall, I have referred countless friends to Revive Hair Loft- I work as a nurse and my coworkers are always impressed with how great my hair looks, and I have yet to hear a disappointing review from any of my colleagues that see Nicole. To Nicole, Mark, and the entire Revive Hair Loft family, your services are exemplary and I am so appreciative that there is such excellence in hair aesthetics available in Edmonton!

I showed the exact hairstyle from a picture that I wanted. I had long hair down to in-between my shoulder blades (could do a full bun). I had a very formal event to attend and I asked to get a style and light trim. The stylist was very nice, but then she ended up taking about 3 inches of length off my hair, which was not what I had asked for at all and was currently trying to grow it longer (as I stated). My hair is so short I can't put any of it up even in a ponytail and I have about 6-10 months to grow it back to where it was... I called and complained to a manager and all they could offer me was to come in the next day and get a "style". Extremely unimpressed and will not be returning.

Ive been going here for years and I absolutely love it here! Nicole knows what she's doing! I have curly hair and I used to dread getting my hair cut because they would never layer or cut my hair properly. I used to look ridiculous if my hair wasn't straightened. I am so happy I finally found someone who knows how to cut curly hair so it looks good natural or straightened! Nicole actually listens to what you want so there are no surprises at the end of your appointment. If you ask for a trim, you actually get a trim... Not 2 inches taken off.
