In search for a good Asian hair stylist I found Jack, former hair stylist from Roman and purple hair. Now he has his own hair salon located on Whyte ave! Just down the road on Whyte ave and just off 99st, Jack & Co Hair Lab is situated. There is parking in the back and the you can use the back door which is so convenient. The interior is non intimidating, very clean and simple with a modern twist. I love seeing a clean salon, it leaves me with a comfortable feeling inside. Jack is very welcoming and has a great knowledge of of Asian hairstyles and texture. I showed him a picture of the hair style and he easily duplicated it. He takes his time and the outcome of my haircut was amazing. I am extremely happy with my haircut and style. I highly recommend coming in to see him whether you are Asian or not. I highly suggest calling in for an appointment first because he can be very busy.

One of the best places in Edmonton to get your hair done if you are into trends and good haircuts. Been getting haircut from Jack for over 20 years (can't believe I never wrote a review). Jack is also COVID-19 certified, it is very safe and all customers must wear gloves to enter the store. Highly recommended.

I came to Jack to get balayage process done to my hair. I chose Jack to do my hair after reading all the great reviews about him and his salon. I have never had this treatment done to my hair before and didn't want to worry that the stylist had no experience with Asian hair. It was a long process to get my hair to the color it is but I am so happy with the results! The color and cut are so fantastic and I get compliments about it all the time. Definitely recommend going to see Jack!

Jack has been my stylist for a few years. One of the main reason why I kept going back was that after the first time I had my hair cut by him, I got hit on in a night club by a young girl that night. 'Nuff said. Anyways, if you don't mind paying a little more ($40ish for male hair cut) than average to get full service (comes with hair wash and a quick head massage) and k-pop star tier hair cut, you have to try Jack out. He usually has a week ahead booked so don't try to walk in....you have to make an appointment.

My hair is difficult to deal with. Jack did a great job with the cut and colour. Even after my hair grows, it stays in shape. This only happens with a true skillful hairstylist. Until I found this place I could never find a decent place no matter how much money I paid.

Turned away at the door ant told that they dont do walk ins, meanwhile the door itself says walk ins welcome, not that anyone was rude. Just dumb that your advertising is clearly false.

Been going to Jack for years and happy he finally opened up his own salon away from downtown. There is also customer parking available around the back. Great service, friendly and takes his time with haircuts for his clients. Definitely give him a try if you're searching!
