Athena knew how to take care of my uneven curly hair cut while still keeping length and giving it volume while respecting my sensitivity to the process. I literally constantly expressed that I was extremely terrified of cutting my hair wanted A TRIM. I explained about my countless of bad experiences and how long it took me to grow my hair. The hairdresser kept reassuring me and used to fingers on the ends of my to show how much she was cutting which was only an inch or two of hair. Low and behold, the hair dresser did EXACTLY what I told her NOT to do. She cute perhaps 5-6 inches of my hair, it is incredibly short and whatever they put in my hair has made it dead flat. It is hideous, and I’m furious at myself for not asking for a refund.

I'm amazed at this place..First time in over 15 years of not coming home crying because of the results.. I've been wanting a perm for a long time now but thought that my hair was too damaged to do so.... While I was speaking to the person who was washing my hair (sorry don't remember name), I said that I liked their perm and they suggested that I get one as well.. I told him my concern about damaged hair but they said to talk to Donald about it. I spoke to Donald about perm and length of hair, etc. He said I could definitely do a perm but he did not have that time at that moment... I decided I would do a perm and he happened to have an opening later on that day.. He cut my hair in accordance to having a perm later on.. I was nervous, I won't lie, but it turned out beautifully. I really took a chance and i'm so happy.. I waited until I could wash and style my hair myself to see if it was easily done and it is..! Thanks Lynda T for the recommendation. Thanks Donald and the person who washed my hair.. I will be back.!

I started going here to support a friend of mine who worked there. She is no longer there but I still go back, because I've found that nowhere else does a better job. I always ask for Brittany, she is super cool and very friendly. Let's be honest, men's haircuts are nothing complicated. But I'm always happy when I leave there. You can even have a cappuccino while you wait!
