I would never go back to Myne Hair Spa. I have had my hair done there a cole of time before, just simple hair blow dries with shampoo, for a couple of events I attended. But last Wednesday April 24, 2013. I made an appointment that morning for a blow dry. I mentioned that i needed the appointment between 1:30 and 2;30, since i had an event in DT Vancouver. The girl on the phone asked for my name, and said: oh, yes you have been herre before, let me check, then she asked if I wanted to have my hair done with Claudia since she had done it in the past, I yes yes its fine. Then she asked then we will wash you hair and then blow dry it right? Way to many questions I thought, but I said yes those are the 2 services I need. She put me on hold for a couple of minutes, and came back and finally agreed on giving me an appointment for 2:15 pm with Claudia. And thank her and hung up. Sadly when I arrive to the Plaza where they are located, there was not a single parking spot available near by, I waited hoping for a car to leave, even parked on an no-parking area to buy a coffee at the Starbucks near by, to see if someone did leave, nothing. so I had to go across the street to another Plaza, park, wait to cross the street and finally made it to the salon but I was late 12 minutes.I apologized the minute I walked in, but i did mentioned I simply couldnt find any parking....She looked at me quite confused, like you I dare be late...There where 2 customers in total in the entire salon by the way....Claudia came to the fornt of the salon and said that I was late and that she couldn't take me anymore. Unless I wanted to wait for her to finish with her customer...but I had an appointment, and she is with another customer? I was upset already because I was honestly late because of the lack of parking spaces this place has, and I am been kicked out????? how did that happen? No option to see another hairstylist? no im sorry for the inconvenienced? I am a customer right? I was late 12 minutes, where was the owner when this happened I wonder? She knows that they refused to give me service? Do they even know the meaning of Customer Service. I have been in the Customer Service Industry my entire life,I would never ever refused to service anyone, I would make anything for the customer. After all I was there, I was going to pay, and besides really are you guys that busy????? Or even that good? This is a very small community and one bad customer experience at your business can go a long way.I had never written a bad review about any place, but its time that business owners take accountability for their actions, and the people that works for them. Ye sI will write an email directly to the owner and let her know that you have to take better care of your customers, she just lost one.
