Simply not enough space here to describe this place. I've been seeing to Kitty for about 2 years or more now and after walking in with some not-so-great haircuts (from other places) Kitty was able to fix them up and get my hair how I didn't even know I wanted it. And there's never a dull moment when in the shop! On a scale of 10, it's an 11! Hands down won't be going anywhere else during my time in Comox.

Made an appointment couple days in advance. Went for a hair cut and a beard trim. But due to the bridge construction and being new to town I was 2 mins late. They already had someone in the seat with wet hair and told me its my fault for being late. I didn’t receive a phone call, and couldnt make one because I was driving. Had to frantically get somewhere else because I was leaving for a wedding the next day. Wont be going back.

A really unique barber shop that offers high quality haircuts and unique staff. The staff are friendly and sociable, and they take great care in their work even for my relatively simple haircut. Haircuts are complete with a hot towel and neck shave which is a cut above most places. The uniqueness comes from their unapologetic way of doing things. The shop is cash only, which is annoying, but that's just how it is. Further, you're going to have to accept there will be dogs running around the shop (the staff have a couple dogs they let stay in the shop, and occasionally their four-legged friends). If that's not for you, don't come here. They appear to have consistent business, so make an appointment. Overall, I was really happy with the haircut, and the experience was unique and memorable. Will be going again in the future.

I've had my hair cut here and was always satisfied with the results. However for my boys I'd take them to whoever was open. My 13 year old boy has never had a good haircut until today. Kitty gave him a really great haircut unlike any he's had before.. In his words "Finally someone who knows how to cut my hair". It is the most entertaining and fun atmosphere in any barber shop I've ever been to. My son hasn't stopped smiling and is genuinely happy with his hair. Thank you Edward and Parnell and especially Kitty. You have more than earned my loyalty. Happy anniversary to you both????

Came from calgary where time = money . This place has great staff and my hair was 100 but they where "running behind" and I noticed other reviews saying the same thing , imo staff should spend less time chatting with one another (cutting hair for 4 minutes then stopping to chat for 5 ) and focus on the time management . More clients in the booth = more $$$ plus I don't really want to hear about everything in your day / life . Again nice staff and great hair cut but lacks in the time area

I went in to just get my sides shaved and kitty talked me into a fade which no hair dresser has ever suggested! I was so impressed i made and appointment for my son. He loved his hair cut SO much and kitty gave him some hair spray to take home because he loved the smell. 100% will be going back and have already started telling my friends to go there.
