Just passed today. Just needed a clean cut kid; nothing fancy. Showed her a picture of toby McGuire from Spiderman; clean cut.. Easy. Now he looks like Liz from Degrassi. Google it. Horrible. Totally oblivious to how bad it was too. I brought my kid here to save him the hack job he's gotten from me in the passed and it's worse than anything I've certainly given him. Not coming back.

Vicky is Fantastic! My boy would throw the worst tantrums for haircuts and we had tried 4 different places since he was a baby (including children specialized hair salons) before going to hairplay. She is fast, efficient and made the best haircut possible on a very resistant toddler! The first time, she probably took more time to warm him up to the idea of haircut and encouraging him to sit in the seat. Once he sat, within a blink on eye, she cut his hair and was done. That created a trust with my toddler and sine then, we only go to her. She is super skilled with children and now that he cooperates she suggests different hair styles and does a great job. Our experience is A+!

I just got my 4-year-old his first haircut at Hair Play. He has curly hair and it is SO slow to grow so I was really nervous they'd cut it too short or it wouldn't look good (as a curly hair person myself I know how hard it is to find someone who knows curly hair!!). Zoe did an AMAZING job. I was totally the nervous hovering mom and she really listened to what I wanted, was professional and efficient so my kid felt at ease, and we LOVE the haircut! It is perfect, way better than what I expected given my own experience with hairstylists in the past. The little car seats are amazing and my shy kid climbed right up and got in. Great experience and I will definitely go back for his next haircut.

I was in and out in under 30 min, only because we were in a hurry. Vicky was great! She worked fast paced but also made us feel welcome, like we could have stayed as long as we wanted. She knew how to handle my 20 month old, had realistic expectations, was friendly with my 3 year old daughter, and prepared a kid-friendly environment for us. The place was tidy and colorful. While Vicky was very efficient and quick in her hair cutting and the cars etc were a great distraction for my 2 year old, stylist she is not. My son has thick hair and a few cowlicks and unless you want a typical short boys haircut (I wanted something a little longer and styled) this was not for us.
