I went there right before the Holidays since my usual place was too busy during that period. I called to get a spot specifically asking for the student price (set at $18 at the time). Once there, I could hardly get heard and finished much later than I expected, with such a high bill (around $65)... I mean, the haircut is ok but she wouldn't even take my student ID and it is really hard to say no to her (even if you do say "no thank you"). Went there to feel good about myself, did not really work... The men during that time seemed to have a great time though (I saw 3 of them during the time my haircut lasted) and were highly satisfied.

This is my favourite haircut place! I have been getting my hair cut by Chantal since I was a kid. Very affordable cuts and Chantal has a lot of experience with men's hair. Often available without an appointment but definitely better to make one if you can.

I'm male, 41yo. My hair is now thin at the top of my head as usual at my age. My male-pattern baldness is clearly advancing and it makes me somewhat sad. Just had a hair cut at Chantal last week and multiple of my male colleagues have independently and unpromptedly said I look totally refreshed and youthful. I work remotely so these co-worker comments were over video calls, which I guess speaks highly favorably of the hair cut. Oh, and my wife enjoyed the hair cut too but was much less vocal about it.
