I had an excellent experience here, that manager (or owner I couldnt tell) was super nice to me and my girlfriend. They treat you super well here and it was a first for me as a haircut. I will be back but maybe I'll make it a yearly thing here, with the prices of 50 or so bucks idk uptown barbers at 20$ sure is competition. The barber was the real reason I enjoyed my stay, he was relatable and had alot to say about him and his travels. Well done tattooed Australian guy *claps* I'll be back

Before I moved to Vancouver I had the same barber for 26 years. Since moving here I have struggled to lock down a good barbershop and barber. I've been to the Man Cave and Barber & Co in Yaletown, but the experience was never really great. Finally I came across Victory & Co. I booked an appointment with no one in particular since it was my first time. At the entrance I was greeted by the receptionist and introduced to Cameron who would be my barber. He was friendly, not intrusive, polite and certainly knew his job. The ambience is great as well. All-in, a proper haircut and beard trip along with taxes and a tip came out to around $75. It's not exactly your quick trim but I certainly got what I paid for! I can confidently say that after a long time it was great to get a haircut experience that I was happy with. I'm going back there tomorrow!

Loved the place. It's my first time getting my hair cut in Vancouver and I was told this place in Gastown was the best of choices. Indeed, it met my expectations. Bill was so friendly, the lady at the front desk was extremely nice, and the atmosphere is so great that it felt like I was in a well kept barber shop. In this time of Coronavirus we need to make sure that we are exposing ourselves to clean and organized places to keep our families and friends safe (ourselves as well), and indeed this place goes beyond expectations and keeps customers feeling safe and secure under the barber's cut.

Visited Vancouver for a wedding over the weekend. I am no fashionista, so I booked an appointment at Victory with no particular barber. I was helped by Magda, she was friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Turns out we had a lot of friends in common between our cities! Price was a little higher than what I had expected after visiting their website, HOWEVER I think the experience, expertise and work done by Magda was well worth the price. I came in with no idea as to what I was looking for and Magda created a look for me. Well worth it and I would definatley go again.

Great barber shop but a tad pricey, but I believe that the work and craftsman ship from his barbers are worth the price. $$

Rejoice, the hat days are over. I was a bit nervous at first after my streak of horrible haircuts at cheap barbers, if I dare call them that. But I left smelling nice, feeling groomed and looking better than when I walked in, just as as a man should after he visits his local barber. 10 dollar haircuts from the Surehire special are a thing of the past for me after getting a cut here. The place has a good vibe with a kick of the past and the staff are well experienced and educated on hair. Shout out to Sarah who restored my hair from 6 months of torture in Burnaby by several sweatshops. See you again soon.

I've been a loyal client of the "House of Handsome" in Gastown since 2016 and my experience only gets better and better in every appointment. The staff is highly professional and ruled by high standards. The technique they have at cutting, trimming and shaving seems to be signature of Victory Barber and Brand's style and the brotherhood and sisterhood in the place is amazing. The staff don't make jokes with the slogan because, when the "House of Handsome" welcomes you, you leave as one.

Update 2021 Where is Jeff???!!! Came down and tried a few barber but was not compare to Jeff, Jeff always know what I want and take his time since I tell all my friends the difference between this barbershop and mall barbershop, Jeff would always spend 40 to 50 minutes to my thin hair since he like to tell me what to do and which gel or wax to use. Found this online and first time I was here I was helped by Jeff and now his my main man to cutting my hair. Jeff takes his time cutting my hair and how very very detailed he is when cutting my hair and I notice his very tidy when using his hair cut tools, amazing! Like he clean it every time and when he drop something some places might clean it and still use it but he will put it away and use a new one lol I’ve been to so many barbers and tried barbers at the mall and let me tell you the difference, Jeff cut my hair for about 30 to 45 min and I have a short hair mall barbers 15 min done.

Avoid at any cost, you might as well go bald and save yourself some money and stress. Everything was fine until.. I’ve booked an appointment and I didn’t make it (also, I was completely out of reach, so I couldn’t let them know). I rebooked my visit to the next day. I came in and apologized for the situation, also assuring mr. Lucas Grant, that I’ll pay for the ‘lost’ visit. I’m pretty sure mr. Lucas Grant (who was the guy giving me the haircut) was seeking some kind of revenge and gave me the worst (trust me, I’m not very picky, but it was uneven and nowhere close to what I’ve asked for) haircut ever, making me look like a clown for another couple months. I strongly suggest to AVOID this place.

Seemed to have lots of staff working so I imagine they can get busy. The atmosphere was very nice, and there are parking meters in front. What a fantastic place to go! Josh was an amazing stylist who knew exactly what I wanted to have done and knew how to do it. He'll explain anything you don't understand and do it in the best terms possible. He's not a pushy salesman type either, he won't try to sell you anything if you've already got it. He'll explain to you proper care and techniques if you don't know them, and he's a very pleasant conversationalist! He even threw in a hot shave for me because I didn't have a lot of beard to do. I highly recommend Victory for all your beard trimming needs!

Got a haircut there twice. First time I just them do whatever they want. Never really got anything other than buzz cuts so I wasn't used to it at first. But got nothing but compliments and it genuinely grew on me. Good, friendly service. They know their stuff. Place looks really old school inside too. It's pretty cool.

I don't usually like talking to my barbers but with Josh the conversation flowed easily and i really enjoyed it. The price is a bit more than your average shop but you can guarantee you wont leave feeling like you need to buy a new ball cap. Look forward to more great cuts in the future

My journey with Victory Barber & Brand started about 5 months ago. It's a beautiful space that is very spacious and comfortable. Everything at the barber shop from front desk service to the barber seat exceeds your expectations. My barber Cam made me feel welcome and hosted me in such a wonderful, warm way. He is the most professional barber I have been to in Canada. The brands products are very good as well. The location is accessible and is in between downtown to Chinatown. If you are looking for a barber do not hesitate and get over to Victory Barber. Overall I enjoy coming to the barber shop to spend good times and get great service.

Nice guys that give good hair cuts but don’t get a beard trim here. I asked for my beard to be cleaned up and the barber took way too much off it - I’m still fuming over it. It’ll take months to get it back to the way I want it to be, rather than the way they ‘think’ it should be. This could have been avoided if they had just done what I had asked. Needless to say I won’t be heading back.

10 min late on my appointment and when arrived been told my barber can't make it and they were sorry they didn't advise me earlier. He was recommended by one of my friends and I came from Burnaby special for this, otherwise I would stick with my regular barber. "Another barber can help you if you wait or you can come back another time". How about NEVER?
