Matt Irons is one of the most talented stylists in the city. He is a professional colourist and always understands how to treat my thick, curly hair. The vibe in the small studio is always super friendly. It was also extremely safe and sanitized during COVID - I felt comfortable during my entire appointment. I've been seeing Matt for 5 years and only yesterday I saw him at The Manor for the first time! The Manor Salon Staff is beyond friendly and professional. During covid especially they are constantly sanitizing and cleaning the salon for each and every client that comes through the doors. This is the first salon I've ever been to where I felt at home, I was really vibing there with the staff and there is such a positive, welcoming energy as soon as you walk in. Matt and Amanda worked their magic on my hair as a badass dynamic duo team of angels and I couldn't be happier! Thank you SO much for the much needed change. Amanda Fernandez at The Manor Salon feels like the hairstylist I waited for my whole life for – she listens to what you want, cares about your hair’s health, how it looks, and how it makes you feel on the inside (confident and beautiful when you leave her chair!!). Plus, she is just a gentle, caring soul in general. After years of mistrust and refusal get a professional cut for 6 WHOLE YEARS, I took a leap of faith and saw Amanda for the first time in the spring, and I’ve been back three times since then! I can’t recommend enough. 10/10. (Also, the entire staff is warm and friendly, offer beverages, and make you feel really comfortable. Space and products are amazing, too!)

March at the Manor! After having surgery on my hand I was in bit of a crunch on how to wash and style my hair, I stumbled upon The Manor Salon and I am so happy I did! All the girls are so welcoming, and Lucy, makes me refreshed week in and out leaving me with a style that lasts and lasts until our next wash and blowdry! After, consulting with the head colourist Sonia, weeks later, I booked an appointment to freshen up my colour. Admittingly, I haven’t had the best track record with colourists before but after many talks with Sonia I was ready to dive in! Truthfully, when I left the salon after my dye job I was a little unsure about the colour and wanted to see it in different lighting before voicing any concerns. When I woke up the next morning with fresh eyes I was certain that I wasn’t thrilled with the end result. It wasn’t bad - it’s just not what I wanted and not the tone of white I’m used to having! I nervously and anxiously with tears in my eyes called the salon to speak to the woman who spent all day making me over and I hated to be the person to “complain” or not like the end result but I knew I wasn’t happy with it and couldn’t wait for it to grow out for a do-over. In the past, if I didn’t like the result of my hair I sat in silence and never went back to the salon. I couldn’t do that here, the girls are amazing, I’ve been coming in week in and week out getting my hair done and I definitely wanted to return again - not be a salon ghoster! My anxiety was put to ease when I walked back in the next day! The owner Amber, Lucy and Sonia welcomed me back with open arms and wanted me to leave exactly how I feel now, happy and ready to show my hair off to the world! As you can see with the “after photo” I’m so happy with my luscious locks again and can honestly say my experience at the Manor Salon was nothing but positive. I would recommend this salon 100% so please tell your friends!

Loved loved loved being styled by Amanda! She made sure I was comfortable and asked a bunch of questions right at the beginning to suggest the best-suited style for my frizzy hair. They adhere to all the safety protocols and ask you to do the same - definitely no need to worry when you visit them! My hair looks and feels so much better after the layer cut and the scalp treatment. I would definitely recommend going down for a dry scalp treatment if you have dandruff issues or flaky scalp issues like I do. The ambience is amazing and the staff makes you feel totally pampered. They even go the extra mile to share genuine haircare tips and best practices. Can't wait to go back!

The girls at the Manor are lovely and talented - I've had every cut and colour imaginable, and they've make me look great every time! I recently even did hair extensions, which were easy to maintain and looked totally natural - I had Disney-Princess-levels of volume and length for 4 months! Such an amazing salon with a great vibe and friendly knowledgeable staff that care for the style AND health of your hair. I live in the UK and refuse to get my hair done anywhere else. As I only come to the salon about 3 times a year, Sonia always makes sure she paints my highlights in such a way where it grows out nicely (my 6 month covid growth looked amazing). She even asks me how long it’ll be until I see her so she knows where to paint and how to tone my hair. Amber always gives me an on trend cut that compliments Sonia’s highlights. Amber also adapts the cut based on the season and my travel plans. I always leave with the right product to ensure my hair stays strong and healthy until my next visit.

I booked in to see Lucy for my colour and Amanda for my cut. Both are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. They have great recommendations, even when consulting you about ingredients to stay away from. Lucy and I have discussed future colours and blends that we plan on doing, and my hair always looks fantastic after Amanda styles it. Although the pictures show fresh, day 1 cut and colour, my colour lasted for 8 weeks with very minimal fading thanks to following their advice on routine and hair care. Everything at The Manor Salon is very personal and individualized and it is always a positive experience.

I was there today for the first time and I really liked their customer service. They offered me candies and chocolates, as well as, water, coffee or tea. There was a normal talk about life while I was getting my hair cut. Their price was good for the area (man $35) but you can check their website to see their prices for other services. I really recommend this place. Make sure to make an appointment before go cuz they are very busy. You can walk in though but be aware that you could be waiting for a while.

Another great experience with Matt! Matt had to fix my hair bc I made the mistake by trusting another salon to do my hair and they completely fried it, leaving me with dead split ends and a short horrible choppy uneven haircut. I immediately contacted Matt and he saved my hair. He did an olaplex treatment, hair colour correction and a cut correction. He explained everything in detail before we even started about what he thought would be best and realistic. He also gave me hair care tips I could do at home to further help with the damage. He is always thoughtful- asks if I am comfortable, if the water is a good temperature etc. So happy I am able to wear my hair down again and not have to hide it! I’m not sure how he did it but my hair looks longer too even though he had to cut it to fix it! Thanks again Matt you’re the best ????!!

The atmosphere is modern yet laid back, and most importantly not pretentious. All of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You can really tell they are a well knit team. I love this place! I came to The Manor after a not so good experience with another local salon. I have curly/wavy hair that can be hard to manage. The previous stylist had cut through my curls and they weren't curling properly. Amber saved my curls! She understands my hair and made a point of getting to know what I wanted and how much time I was willing to invest day to day. I also get my hair colored by Sonia who is amazing! Love coming to Manor! I've had wonderful blowouts done by Lucy and recently a haircut and style by Amber, and I've never been disappointed. My hair is long, thick and naturally wavy/curly and I like it to be cut in a way that I can wear it both straight and curly, and I also hate taking off too much length. Amber listened to exactly what I was looking for, shared her advice, and delivered wonderfully. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable and the ambiance is very relaxed and cheerful. I brought pictures for Amanda so she could get an idea of the style I was going for. I wanted something that you’d transform from relaxed and stylish to very edgy. Both she and Matt were almost as excited as I was for the transformation. You can see the fabulous results below. I was in a slump, out of work, and needed a new look to pick up my spirits. Off the cuff, I wandered in here one day and was sat down with hair colourist guru, Sonia. She mixed up some potions, lathered them on, washed them out, and sent me on my way. I felt dazed, confused, scared. Who was this man in the mirror? Can he be trusted? A few metres down the block I get stopped by some guy claiming to be some Hollywood agent, telling me I've "got the look". I'm like yeah OK creep, here's my number and a selfie anyways. Next thing I know my phone is BLOWING UP. A private jet brings me to LA and I spend the next 5 years on yachts with Beyonce, drag racing civics with Elon, and throwing mustard packets off of over passes with Geroge W Bush Jr. It was a trip. I never actually got a job. People were just so impressed with my hair that they kept throwing cash at me. Unfortunately, I picked up a nasty nyquil habit one night partying at a pharmaceutical convention with Steve Aoki that spiralled out of control. I'm now on the streets, cleaning gloves for quarters and fighting pigeons for scraps. But I'm so grateful for the years of opuliance awarded to me after getting my hair coloured by Sonia. #noregrets @colourbysoniaanjos

I got Full Highlights with Sonia and it was an amazing experience! I had my hair done somewhere else and it didn’t turn out as i wanted. Sonia did a beautiful job of fixing the roots and lifting my hair to the colour i want. I brought pictures for Amanda so she could get an idea of the style I was going for. I wanted something that you’d transform from relaxed and stylish to very edgy. Both she and Matt were almost as excited as I was for the transformation. You can see the fabulous results below. I was so thrilled with the incredible job they did, all the while with Covid procedures in place and a super clean and inviting environment. They really listened to what I was looking for and took their time to make sure I was happy. Sonia was great - she was able to fix EVERYTHING and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted! Love this place! Amber is honestly the best hairdresser I ever had, she knows exactly what to do each time I come in, she takes the time to understand your needs and makes you feel extremely comfortable with her decisions. My hair cut always comes out how I wanted it to look and feel like. I have very fine and straight hair and I don't really style it much but the way it's cut, I can literally just wash my hair and let it air dry and it falls nicely and Amber was the only person that was able to cut it that way. The rest of the staff are very nice and knowledgeable about how to care for your hair, style it and best products to use. If you sign up for their e-newsletter, they do workshops on how to "blow dry your hair", "curl your hair" etc. which I thought was such a great way for them to educate their clients on how to care for their hair! I look forward to going back soon.

I was looking for someplace more local and a friend referred me to The Manor. My friend is incredibly particular about her hair, so if she was satisfied, I knew I would be too. I got my hair colored at The Manor by Sonya and my color was OK, I have brown hair and she covered my grey they seat me beside a bathroom and during my coloring the owner pooped and I had to smell it the whole time when I got up to get away from the stink they moved all my stuff and gave my seat away to do someone else hair and just put my stuff in the sink area? This place saved my bleach blonde hair! I came in last year with dry and damaged bleach blonde hair from another salon that couldn't properly do my roots and basically ended up bleaching my whole head too much. The Manor did my roots and used Olaplex which is great for repairing and I was so happy with the results. I've been getting my hair bleached there every time I need a touch up now. Not to mention the staff is very friendly and make sure your experience there is a good one. Plus they offer tea, water, etc. and their hair products smell bomb !! Recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have blonde hair that needs proper repair.
