Solid place to have your grooming needs tended to. Really nice, professional people who also make you feel very welcome. FYI. There is a sign POSTED on the front window "No public restroom" So if you aren't a patron, find a gas station. Lol!

My girl got her haircut there. It came out super perfect. We were a little nervous at first because the hair stylest we got was new but she did an amazing job! Im so going to get my hair cut when it us the right length. I love how everyone who works there really listens to the client and works with what you have to make you feel like a million bucks when yoj walk out.

I am so happy with my experience with Sue's Hair Salon! I made an appointment for my 2 young daughters who were supposed to be one right after the other. When we got there we learned that both girls got cuts at the same time. It was a nice surprise! Yesenia and Elisse were great! We will be back!

I went to Sue's for a haircut. Yesenia cut my hair, and it's the best haircut I've ever had. I asked for a pixie cut, and she did such a great job. The people are nice. They know hair. If you're looking for more than an "okay" cut, this is the place for you. It's a bit of a drive for me, coming from Hayward, but I'll definitely be back.

We(I) have and family have been going to Sue's since before or around mid 2004, and I am very picky as to who can cut my hair. Sue's place has grown over the years as well as her staff and children and Sonny helping and all the upgrades to her place. Sue and her Staff are top notch and will stand behind the work they doe. We have and continue to refer friends and relatives to wonderful shop. Great place, friendly staff, always greeted with a smile, Sue and Staff keep up the great work, Uncle G.( no relation that's how Sue greets me).

My three appointments have been very pleasant. I would recommend this salon. My stylist is Yesenia and she does a beautiful job. She has very gental hands and I get so relaxed. The shop seems very efficient but not hurried. Yesenia offered a treatment for my hair that softened my wild hair for 6 weeks. When she called in sick once the owner, Sue, offered to keep the appointment with me. And another time I had to call and cancel because I woke up sick and the receptionist was kind and welcomed me back. The atmosphere of Sue's is updated and comfortable. Tea and hand moisturizing treatments were bonuses. My husband compliments my shoulder length hair when I return. That's great!

Sonny and Yesenia always make me feel welcome and very hospitable they always make sure I am comfortable. Yesenia takes her time and meticulous in coloring, highlighting and cutting my hair. They always give me advise how to care for my colored hair to last long. I've been their customer for years now.

I have a complaint for them I can't wait until tomorrow I paid over $400 for my hair to get the yellow out they toned it and then they put a low light in it and then a week later they finish the job by putting a toner in it and a highlight then a toner and it was cute for one day that was it then it washed out I supposed to have highlights there was no highlights it was awful I could have done this myself and the yellow is coming back already it's only been in one week

I just wanted something I had before. I brought a few pictures. I just moved here and was really hoping to have a nice relaxing time.The wash was great and then it was all down here from there.I just wanted a cut I had done before with another salon. I had 4 different angles so she could see how to do it. I can't recall her first name it started with a Y, but her last name was Naddy from Tokyo. She started very kind and welcoming. She kept asking me how I wanted the layers, underneath or on top( I am not familiar with hair terminology). I thought the pictures would answer the question.She said if I put them on top I would have a some hair sticking up. Mind you I went in with hair half way down my back and wanted it cut just at the shoulders. She told me she would thin it also. I told her I wasn't sure that I had a bad experience and she said she would try not to do that.Once she finished cutting my hair she asked if I wanted it blow dried. I told her I don't usually do that and she did it anyways. She said she could straighten it for another 20$. I told her I could do that myself. When she was done I looked like a mushroom, it was all one length! It looked NOTHING like the pictures. I told her I wanted layers like the pictures. She argued with me saying she couldn't see layers (it was obvious that there were layers in the pictures. She said it was because I had wavey hair..I told her I wasn't sure what they called it but there were layers. She rolled her eyes (I guess forgetting that I can see her in the giant mirror) and started cutting my hair insanely fast. I started looking and noticed a piece that looked to be a little longer than the rest. I started to point it out and she just brushed it back to blend with all of my other hair. I asked if she could go ahead and straighten it (thinking she could see any issues easier and correct them). She told me, "if I wanted that, next time I need to schedule a longer appointment."She informed me she had another client that had been waiting 20 minutes. Ifelt completely kicked out of her chair at that point. Looking at myself in the other mirrors I could certainty tell it was uneven. I immediately put my hair in a ponytail, thank God I still could. I was brought to tears before leaving the store. The receptionist asked me if everything was okay. I replied that this was not what I expected and just wanted to get out of there.He said ok. I returned to my car and further inspected my hair. I just went into a full on cry. My hair had been butchered! I went home and straightened my hair further exposing the 2 inch difference in length. I showed my husband and he said I should not have paid. I called them back and Sunny answered. I told him I was unhappy and he admitted to realizing that before I left. He informed me my stylist was busy. I told him I don't trust her with my hair anymore. He said no one else was available today. He also informed me that they are closed on Sundays. Again, I always have my kids, so there's no way I'll be able to bring in two kids under 4 and be able to sit through them trying to fix this hack job! The next time he said he could fit me in was for only 30 minutes on Saturday and his stylist would be doing him a favor. I unhappily made the appointment thinking of how I had to walk around like this for a week. My husband told me I shouldn't go back. So my husband made an appointment for Sunday at another salon. I went in and they were shocked at my hair. The woman took over an hour to try to fix it. There were chunks missing, thinning too close to the scalp, disconnected layers, a slant of unevenness (like Miss Naddy completely missed the right side of my head), my bangs were taken too far on the side of my head.. it was just rediculous.I have to let my hair grow and get it cut again.Unfortunately, this cost me double since I have to get it cut 2 more times. When I showed up in person I was able to get a refund from Sunny. He said, "it's only 46$, it's not like it's 300$." I was rushed out of the door after that. I will not be going back.

Highly recommended!! Called yesterday at 9 am, was able to get an 11 am appointment because of a cancellation. Excellent and prompt Customer Service, nice, clean and cute inside. They are using best practices during COVID so masks are required and no shampoo. Elisse M. cut my hair after 3 years of not even a trim. She was sweet and nice and gave me the best hair cut EVER! Thank you so much for seeing me and fitting me in, I made an appointment for 8 weeks out for another trim and in having her add sone lowlights. GREAT PLACE AND GREAT SERVICE!!

Bad place hate this place.Her husband hangs around like Ill be polite a bouncer.He needs to get a job.She redid my haircut (still bad ). He comes over to us and says I thought it wasn’t going to take very long.Very disrespectful.She cannot do a razor cut and layer short hair.I am very unhappy .

I was at the nearby laundry, my two year old had to use the restroom very badly. The receptionist told us no, it's only for Customers. I understand your business is in a homeless affected area and ITS in a VERY Sketchy parking lot (Beware) but we CLEARLY DIDN'T LOOK HOMELESS or as if we wanted to misuse the restroom. I asked for the manager, my two year old asked politely and he referred her to the Jack n the Box around the corner. I wouldn't support business that won't help the community/tourist.

After coloring my hair she asked if I wanted a trim but instead of a trim she started to put in layers cause I told her I wear my hair up. The only thing I say she did good that she gave a good head massage when she washed my hair . I will never go there again!!!!!
