Ethan did my hair, to be honest, the hair cut was OK but the color faded within one week. I recommended him to my friend for a hair cut but I regretted; he was very rude and even assaulted her when my friend shared a different opinion regarding to the hair style that she wants. I don't usually make complaints but his attitude is absolutely unacceptable.

Hairstylist Ethan is a true master of his craft! Every time I get my hair done here by him I’m never disappointed. I got a wash, cut and style and the time and effort he puts into something as simple as that is so heavily appreciated. My hair has never been healthier and better! Thank you so much Ethan!!

This is my first time at Shear Beauty. Susan did my hair and I was very impressed with her knowledge of hair colouring and what style would be best for me. I will be definitely going back as I need my hair done every 4 weeks now with the Grey growing in. I loved my hair it’s been a long time since I was at a salon so happy to have found this spot. All covid protocols were followed.

Susan fried my hair!!! I went in asking for highlights and she left the peroxide too long. I am so upset. She charged me 200 dollars. And when I called to discuss what she did. She took no responsibility for the job that she did. She blamed me! In response to Susan’s response. You should have checked and rechecked if you knew that my hair couldn’t take too much. It is your job to watch over what you are doing. If you thought my hair was too damaged. You shouldn’t have done it! And knowing what you did, all you did was giggle. You watched my hair fall out and all you did was giggle and not take responsibility.

This is the first time I took my daughter to Shear Beauty to cut hair, but it gave us a very unpleasant experience. Ethan is very unprofessional. He neither shampoo nor wet my daughter's hair, just started to cut my daughter's hair right way. His attitude is also extremely bad and impatient. My daughter only had her hair cut (long hair), and he did not wash her hair or blow her hair. I was not satisfied with the effect of the final cut. And was told to charge 60 dollars. Cash only, and refused to provide an invoice. I agree to pay in cash, but I still want Ethan can provide an invoice. Another female staff said that if I want an invoice can only be use credit card, also it need plus tax(60 dollars plus tax for a child dry hair cut) . Previously Ethan said that cash only, because I insisted on an invoice, and they said that the invoice can only be obtained by swiping the card, so I used my credit card. They just provided me a proof of payment on the POS machine, not a formal invoice. Finally they told me not to come back again. I would definitely not go back. They didn't need to tell me, but they actually asked me to tell the friend who introduced me to this store not to go back again. This is so ridiculous.

Went to Susan for a trim on my hair which is in the style of a "bob cut". She charged me for the cut. I went back a week later and told her I wanted some layers on the top of my head. As opposed to doing what I wanted she layered ALL of my hair. I am very upset and feel very unattractive. She cut my hair very quickly as she continuously looked outside the door. I will never return to Shear Beauty as Susan did not listen to what I wanted. She charged me again for another cut when I was there a week before to get my hair trimmed. They have "old" clients that have been going for years. If you want someone who knows HOW to give proper cuts go elsewhere. My hair looks like it was cut at a men's barber shop. I went from having lots of hair to having very little hair. My hair is extremely difficult to style now because of the terrible cut Susan gave me. This has been my worst cut ever!!! A very unsatisfied customer! ????
