I hate haircuts, I will wait over a year until I absolutely must get one. My experience here was amazing. I actually enjoyed getting my haircut for once in my life. My hairdresser was Ai. I hate walking out of the hairdresser with fresh cut hair, I like my ends to be very choppy, and a bit layered. Ai knew exactly what to do, with little instruction. She dry cut my hair first, then I had an amazing shampoo and head massage. And then in the chair again you get a nice, neck/shoulder massage which I was so relaxed after it was definitely worth the money. I've paid way more in Toronto for haircuts I hated. This place was amazing from start to finish, curling my hair at the end for me. I will be coming back again, especially for the reasonable priced haircut/massage combo.

Exciting experience here. Took my daughters for a haircut. The hairdressers were super friendly, accomodating, played with them a lot, shared all the cookies and candies. My girls were genuinely happy and give all the staff lots of hugs. It is a pricey business however the overall experience was definitely worth it.

I used to go to Seefu @ Spadina, so when I heard they opened a location at North York, I was ecstatic. Seefu prices are on the high end (if you're used to $20 haircuts :P), but it's completely worth it -- incredibly skilled stylists, polite staff and amazing masseuses. Tony cut my hair and not only did he style it the way I described, he personalised it to complement my head shape. Same thing happened with my husband (I believe he had Kevin style his hair), and again, very pleased that the stylist paid attention to his own, unique head shape :) The head and shoulder massage was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. Overall, love my hair cut and the staff here. I'd definitely recommend Seefu for anyone looking for a great haircut + pampering experience that won't disappoint!

I think if you provide neck and shoulder massage therapy only 10-15 min. Without haircut - you will get more clients. I highly recommend this place. Haircuts here are a bit expensive, but they're worth it, because this isn't Super Cuts. They wash your hair before and after cutting it, and they also give some amazing scalp massages. Service is great and the place looks really nice. We used to go to the one in Yorkville but now we go here when we can. The stylists are always so helpful and kind. Definitely recommend Seefu for any colouring or styling. Vincent is the master stylist but we go to Jin when he is not available. Jin is very gentle and friendly and will tell you what will be good for your style. You won't be disappointed.

It took me several months to find the right person and salon to trust to cut my hair, ever since my former Hairstylist went back to Korea, not a single hairstylist in our area really understands what I really want with my hair and how should it look like. I chanced upon their IG profile while I was browsing the net,Ive been reading their reviews and I was skeptical to try them since they were costly. I finally decided to call and inquire prices next thing I know, I already book an appointment. I went to Seefu North York and I was greeted with a very sweet smile from the staff. I was assigned to Aku. I told Aku how I wanted my hair cut. She is a good listener, she has a soft and gentle hands. She is very accommodating and she always sees to it that I am okay and okay with the cut. This is actually the third time now that Ive been to the salon and Aku is simply amazing and I'm so lucky to have found her and this salon! I absolutely trust Aku with my hair and love every time I get it cut by her!!! I always get so many compliments on my hair cut and she is very nice to chat with while getting my hair done! I also love that she always remembers everything about me even if this is the third time that we've met! Aside from the amazing hairstylist, the staff are very nice and very hospitable, they provide silky robe, locker, tea or even some treats while you wait ???? I also love the head massage and I love the gentle hands that washes my hair (forgot her name) ????. So overall experience for me - pleasing and satisfied. So, I really enjoyed the hair wash, cut, and style part of my experience at Seefu. But, I also got Balayage and despite showing numerous photos of what I wanted and how I wanted my hair darker brown and with auburn tones in it, I end up with lighter hair. It was also really really expensive. I would have been happy paying the price had I gotten what I wanted but ultimately, I left disappointed.

SUCH A BAD SERVICE AND BAD ATTITUDE!!!! i went all the way from waterloo to toronto just for this hair appointment last saturday. very disappointed, had a balayage/highlight from Ai. my primary requirement is to look healthy, it turns out looks like i have grey hairs after the highlight is down. Ai insisted that i chose the color, however, i didn’t choose the specific color but only showed her some pictures, and i trusted her decision. she acted like it’s all my fault and didn’t show ANY apology to this. in the end i decided to cover all the highlight with a darker brown hair, and i thought there would be some discount since my hair is basically ruined and it doesn’t look like anything close to balayage or highlight. however, the hairstylist still ended up asking me to pay the full price ($640) with a 30 dollars of discount for this very cheap look. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Ai did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She was also very considerate and listening, and I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. The place itself is very welcoming and cozy. With regards to price, sure, it is quite expensive, but they really take time to cut your hair so precisely, and their haircuts seem to last longer.

I made a reservation online and even received a confirmation email. When I arrived the salon, I was told that they don't have anyone available to do my hair. Later the receptionist told me to wait for a bit and she will try to get a hairstylist for me. Long story short, this place is overpriced and the hairstylist- Jenny who dyed my hair is lack of skills!! I asked for a light brown colour and turned out it looks black and purple-ish. Also, I was told that I will get a shoulder massage from another lady after styling my hair, but I didn't end up getting one. And I did not even bother asking her for it because I was already very upset with how the colour turned out!

I haven't been to a salon in ages, and a friend recommended me their service! With tea, silky robes a scalp and shoulder massage along with a styled haircut. This place reminded me of why I should go to hair salons in the first place. I had Ai and she was a delight! She made sure my chop was perfectly straight and reassured me so. I booked an appointment with Yona for hair colour requiring bleach. She was very responsive and flexible during the scheduling and consultation process and made sure to communicate to me all the details. I love the way it turned out! I think the only downside was that I was charged $70 (usual charge for haircut) on top of the colouring process that I booked, to trim off some weight and dead ends before bleaching (around an inch). I wasn't really communicated that this would be charged as a haircut. It was sort of asked as a "since you're bleaching your hair, I think it would be good to trim off some dead ends and weight because they'll get damaged." I think I was bit surprised by this since they had been very transparent from the beginning at every step. As long as miscommunications like this don't happen, their service is very good and they produce great results. Staff take care of you well and make sure you're doing okay. If you're looking to treat yourself, I would recommend it.

Hair cut appointment at Seefu is usually 1 hour and turns out I only received 30 minutes service. Its pretty much 15 mins hair cut + 10 mins hair wash + 5 mins hair blow, that’s all. I don’t mind paying 100 dollar for it as long as I received good services and equivalent haircut quality level. Yet, the haircut quality is way below standards…..Attitude I received was negative and my request to cut more side bangs was rejected, there are bubbles left on the back of my ears unwashed….etc. Overall the services I received today was terrible compared to before. I had my first hair cut at Seefu 4 years ago and never change it ever since, but I will not come back anymore after today. Goodbye!

This was my first time coming here. My experience from the start was incredible. I booked an appointment for a balayage and I was able to get a free consultation before my actual appointment. My stylist was Ai and she was so nice! She understood exactly what I wanted. And what I liked about the consultation was that she was able to lay out the cost, this way I knew what to expect. On the day of my appointment they greeted me right away. They were able to keep my purse in a locker which is convenient! (A lot of salons I’ve been to don’t have lockers and they just leave my purse in a closet which I don’t really trust). The salon is super clean and everyone is so friendly! They also offered snacks and tea! They give great head and shoulder massages as well! Over all my experience was amazing here! And the balayage turned out perfect; Just like the picture I showed her. I definitely recommend Ai if you guys are looking to color your hair. If Ai is not available I would definitely recommend any other stylists there. They all know what they’re doing! I’ve read many reviews before coming here and a lot of people said it was very pricey but I definitely think the price is worth it!! I’ll definitely be returning here for my future hair needs! It’s not hard to find and close to the subway if you’re commuting by public transit. I’m not sure about parking, but there are definitely public parking spaces around. Love this place!!

hello, I went to get balayage done at seefu Yorkville in September. Two weeks after my hair started to change vastly in colour. I paid around 800 dollars for the session and for a bottle of shampoo. I have to say it was quite disappointing that after one more touch up, it still resulted looking like this after 1.5 months.

Always have heard of Seefu but not sure what to expect. Went in for haircut and coloring with no preference. Jin took me into great care after I shared with him my previous experience (dyed the perfect color but faded quickly) and the style I'm anticipating (ashy gray with purple undertone). The whole team was very collaborative and able to seamlessly cover for each other if one is occupied with another customer. Jin was very detail-oriented and gentle. He was careful with his brushing, offered plastic wraps for my glasses in the middle of business, and provided professional suggestions on coloring. Ai was there by his side for 5 hours, and gave me excellent washing and scalp massage 3 times. One disadvantage this place has, if any, is Japanese employees who speak very minimal English. It will make communication more difficult, but it definitely doesn't reduce the quality of their service. Also word of caution, this is a high-end salon that probably would be more ideal/worthy for dramatic hair changes than just a bang trim.

The girl who cut my hair didn’t have aesthetic .I have more hair on the top but less hair on the bottom， She cut my hair in horrible layers below me！ I have to buy a hair curler to curl my hair and It stopped in a very ugly position. I don’t want to look at mirror now! When i randomly walked into Seefu hair salon. i was immediately warmly greeted by everyone inside. i had a interesting request. I told them i was getting dreadlocks and needed to part my hair into sections. I lost them at dreadlocks XD. Even though they didnt know exactly what i was talking about at the beginning we ended up understanding each other and they agreed to section my hair. They began by washing my hair which was waayyyy more then just a wash. i would describe it as a head massage: it was incredibly relaxing. Followed by a shoulder massage while i was waiting for my stylist. Before my Stylist Aku started, she made sure exactly what i wanted. I have to say for an unusual request, Aku sectioned my hair flawlessly. i am extremely happy with my hair and service i got. For a reasonable price too. 5 stars for sure!

Make sure you find out the price before you go. I was charged $330 before tips for a simple straight cut and brown hair dye. My hair is fine and medium length too. It was my fault that I didn't inquire before going in but I went to the one downtown and it was only around $200 with tip for the same services. The stylist downtown Rikako was way nicer than the stylist here. I actually missed her while I was up here. However, Neo, the girl that gives the shoulder massages and the hair wash was super nice and friendly. That was the best part of the whole experience. If she was not there, I would give this place a 3.

I decided to go here to get a cut and balayage after reading the reviews. Unfortunately I was not happy with the results given the price I paid. The balyage and cut was not any superior quality to the places I have been going to where I pay half the price. So overall given how much they are charging, I think this place is over priced for the service and quality received. Also the girl decided to train someone on my expense which I did not appreciate as she did not ask whether I am okay with this. I won't be going back.

Update: So, I brought my friend this time around and got my hair cut from different stylist this time around. (I wanted to explore a little.) I made sure I got myself the shoulder massage to see how it is like. I have just few more words to add to this 5 star review: - Never going to say no to shoulder massage from now on, IT WAS AMAZING! - Both stylists did my hair great, and I'm super happy for the 2nd time. - I received the same quality service as the first time, and I'm super happy with this place and the experience I had. - My friend is planning to bring his wife here. Prior post, 4 months ago: I'm so glad that my usual place was not accepting anyone for haircut, because I wouldn't have found this gem today. They were pretty available, which was nice. I saw from the review that they could be pricey, but I thought since it's close to where I live and I didn't mind paying for good cut, I decided to venture out. The fact that you get all the premium service of getting your coat/jacket handled, as well, careful treatment of your hair before and after cut, I can't compliment enough. Not to mention the head massage you receive - you may think what does that have to do with haircut, but believe me when I say that it makes all the difference. Courteous staff, great hair cut (mine was pretty straight forward, just simple styled cut) and additional service, to top it off, it wasn't even that expensive (I can argue that it was reasonable based on what kind of treatment and service you get), what's to not give them 5 star for? :)

I did balayage and it took about 4 hours. The hair dresser did such a great job and she was careful with every touches. I had to bleach my hair twice but my hair wasn't too damanged. I must say this place is not cheap. Even considering the good quality of service I received, I still think it was a bit overpriced.

Ridiculously expensive for the quality and service! I usually go to a Japanese hair salon around College/Bay area; but decided to give this hair salon a try today since it looks nice, clean and only a few mins walk from my condo. Worst decision ever! Will return back to my go-to salon even if it takes 30-40mins to get there by TTC. $280 before tax and tips for color by Ai, (Simple Dark Brown); that's already unreasonable given the fact that my stylist spent probably around 20-30mins on my hair (color and styling) and the rest was me sitting there waiting (almost 1 hr) and shampooing (10mins).
