I’m sooo not a fussy customer. But, they had like 3 nail polish options to choose from which were such outdated colours. The woman applying was a bit arsey and sassy. Genuinely: my nail polish peeled off completely on a couple of my feet the same night and in 3 days I had to peel the rest off two coz it was just slipping off my nails (very strange). I can’t comment on the hair personally because I haven’t had my hair done there. But, the other customers hair didn’t look pleasing and the cost was still high. It’s so lovely to see a small Cardiff business and I’d always want to support. But, please please better your service; resources and training because that is what reallyyyy will solidify your business. I really do hope it goes well for them but at the moment: they need the basics.

The worst service experience! They cut my hair and dropped it all over my dress and with a bad attitude. Eventually, they also ask for an extra payment that not mention in my original reservation.

Jasmine has turned my box dyed black hair to a beautiful light brown in just 2 sessions. My hair feels so soft and healthy and I'm very glad I had the 2 olaplex treatments. She's a pro and an absolute pleasure to be around. Can't imagine going anywhere else now!

genuienely the best experience i've ever had with getting my hair done. i haven't been feeling the best lately and my hair has reflected my low state of being. it had been neglected for a while and i felt extremely exhausted with myself and thought that i looked terrible. i didn't feel beautiful anymore and i wanted to just cut off all of my hair and start over. i heard about mwah through a friend and i was welcomed and respected as both a person and a customer. now i had never looked or felt more beautiful. the staff and overall atmosphere is impeccable and the owner is one of the most genuine people i've ever met. extremely grateful for this company and would reccomend highly. <3

Would not recommend! , Ruined my hair and they tried to blame me and would not solve issues I had, sent numerous amount of emails to me almost harassment when raised issues with manager. Caused burns to my scalp, damaged my hair severely, would not refund me as they refused they did anything wrong despite turning my hair grey from blonde, damaged hair and scalp, not a clue about hair dyes and mixing colours . Over priced charged me £165 for a young girl to do my hair. BEWARE !

Cannot recommend this place enough! Came in with a very rough idea of what I wanted, but after a thorough consultation with the lovely stylist Jas I ended up getting a gorgeous balayage (also definitely recommend the olaplex treatment for hair health - worth every penny!). Staff were incredible and the price and quality of service are unmatched!

Have just been in for a wash and blow dry. Everyone who worked here were super friendly and honestly may hair looks amazing. If I saw someone else with this hair I’d be so jealous. I walked back in to work and my colleague said it doesn’t even look like your hair! Thanks! ???? The only thing is I will never be able to do my hair like this so I’ll have to go all the time now.

I've been here twice, once to get my hair cut (it was at hips and i got it chopped to just beneath my shoulders) and again yesterday to get a balayage. Both experiences were absolutely phenomenal !! the staff were soooo polite and great to talk to (and really funny lol). I got exactly what i wanted and i've received soooo many compliments.

But i feel completely comfortable at mwah. I was slightly nervous about colouring my hair at first but Alex did an amazing job! I cant wait to come back and go blonder!

Fantastic hair & beauty salon which I discovered by chance when I stumbled upon a Groupon voucher deal on the app. I had a delightful Indian Head Massage & a Facial, both carried out to an excellent standard and left me feeling very relaxed and refreshed. The ladies who run the salon are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The salon itself has a pleasing floral & feminine decor which adds to the relaxing ambiance and atmosphere. I will definitely use this salon again, and happily recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy pampering session or a hair overhaul!

Such an amazing salon!! I visited for a blow dry and make over, and left feeling absolutely fantastic!!!!! The salon is gorgeous with great decor and unbelievably talented stylists!! They're so friendly and you are treated like a complete VIP from the moment you enter. I have already been back and will continue to visit! They have an extensive list of treatments. You will not regret paying the girls a visit!!

Had a fabulous experience today at Mwah ????. Had my hair cut and blow dried by Laura who did a fantastic job, even my husband commented when he came home from work (something that haven’t happened before) Also took my 13 year old daughter as a treat and she loves her new look. Booking a shellac manicure and pedicure with Lee who was super funny. All staff were really welcoming and gave me a 20% off loyalty card for my next appointment. Salon is tastefully decorated. We will definitely be going back thanks all for a great first experience.

My first visit to this lovely stylish hairdressers. I was very apprehensive as I am not a fan of going to the hairdressers and wanted a complete new style and fringe (or bang as its now called ????). I did not need to worry as I was in the capable hands of Laura who put me at ease and gave me the style i have been after for so long . Such a lovely place to go to. I’m not usually a fan of the hairdressers, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a haircut, after which I received loads of compliments all day! The salon was clean, the service excellent and I would definitely recommend!!

I woukd suggest not to let the owner touch your hair!! Its more of a plead than advice. I had my appointment booked with gen but out of nowhere the owner comes and starts my blowdry. She had no idea what was happening , all she kept saying was ‘i am a perfectionist’. My hair ended up looking frizzy with no bounce at all but I couldn’t risk letting her retouch my hair again. Laura told me they charge £25 for blowdry and so does their website but this lady made me pay £35. Left very disappointed.

I love how Sam does my hair. This is nothing to do with her. She is great and all the staff. But I don t like the lady that owns the salon. Today was 40 percent discount. Well. You would think. I walked in and the first thing she did was have a little wisper in Sams ear. I had half a head of foils done lovely and then they put a 10 munite treatment on. No cut and a blow dry. I was expecting to pay about 50 to 60 pounds but 76 is a piss take. She said we havn t seen you for a while and at these prices I m not suprised. I will not be going back. I have paid 120 130 to have my hair done but I certainly wont be going back after that.

Really friendly and professional, took what I wanted into account and really made an effort to go through exactly what would be good for my hair. I didn't feel rushed in any way and felt like Jas who did my hair was quite happy to take her time. You can tell its something she genuinely loves doing. Having had a cut and blow dry on a groupon deal, I can honestly say that I've been so impressed I will most definitely be returning. I was very impressed with the fantastic location, clean modern environment and super friendly staff. The service was amazing and the results were impressive. I'm certainly recommending Mwah!

This is my 3rd visit to MWAH & I was not disappointed. Due to unforseen circumstances I had cancelled a January appt so this one was about 10weeks from previous and my hair resembled He Man ( thick but not long). Gen worked her magic again & my hair looked fabulous & I felt lighter & brighter leaving there. The staff are welcoming and treat all clients old & new in the same friendly manner. Being a 'valleys girl' I can find some 'city' salons intimidating but not MWAH. They are so friendly I want to stay for hours. I would recommend anyone booking at MWAH for hair or makeup /pampering. I am definitely returning. Thanks again to Gen & the team ???????? See you in a few weeks????

My now-wife and I both had our wedding hair and makeup done at Mwah, and I also had my wedding dress steamed. Stylist Jas and makeup artist Kiran are both amazing at their crafts and they also made our wedding morning SO much fun! I wasn’t planning to have my makeup done professionally, but after seeing Kiran’s work on the day I decided to go for it - thank you Mwah for squeezing me in at the eleventh hour! Jas was brilliant fun throughout and when it began to drizzle as we left the salon she even gave us her own umbrella to take with us - such a kind gesture that we were both extremely grateful for and will always remember. Thank you Jas, Kiran and Gen for giving us the best wedding morning!

Complete waste of money! I booked into this salon for a blow dry and curls for a special occasion. I arrived on time and was left waiting in the chair for 20minutes before I was seen. I was taken to the basins by the owner for a shampoo. She immediately started telling me about how my hair is in such poor condition and that I needed an olaplex treatment. Her customer service skills were appalling. Not only did she not even bother to engage in any conversation with me, she immediately pressured me into buying a treatment and then started speaking to another member of staff in a really rude manner in front of me. When I finally got back to the station, she asked what kind of blow dry I wanted. I'm not an expert with my hair and just explained they I wanted beach type waves with straighners, but the ends kept straight. I sat there for 40minutes listening to this woman criticise my hair. She was constantly trying to sell additional items to me. I left feeling really angry. My hair was awful. I left and immediately made my way home to re-wash my hair and curl it myself. I absolutely would not return!

Strongly recommend! I had balayage done by Jasmine and she did such an amazing job, exactly what I wanted. She was so attentive and talked me through everything to make sure it was right and explained the whole process. A little bit pricey but well worth it considering the final product and the effort put in.
