Having used a different barber's for 2 1/2 years I was reluctant to try a new one. I used this barbershop as a one off but have been back 3 times since. We have had 3 different barbers who have all been fantastic. My son is only 5 but they are all very friendly and patient with him and he really enjoys going there. To the point where he now won't allow me to take him anywhere else! The price is £5 more than what I was paying before but there is hardly ever a queue and 3/4 times we have been there we have not had to wait at all. Therefore, I do not mind paying the extra.

Barber: Nat ???? I have been going to this place for half a year. My first visit I asked for a cut good enough for a job interview, got a smart cut including beard. Dont let the basement sports den fool you, these lot are professional and will do a good job. As for ladies, most of the upstairs is available with many hairdressers to choose from. Can be a little pricy but I haven't had anything close to a bad cut yet. They accept card/contactless/ cash and are easy to find. Would definitely recommend a visit, for bookings definitely call ahead.

Went in for a haircut in November 2018 and the guy who cut my hair( somewhat tall ginger) made an absolute mess of it. Asked just for a trim as I was growing my hair out and he somehow managed to leave an inch difference between the hair on the right and left side of my head. Had to wait 3 months for it to grow back to the previous length. Not to forget that he was really rough and kept tugging at my hair. Would not recommend at all.

Moved to Cardiff for university in September, and I was third time lucky with finding Lazarou Bros. as beforehand I went to one which wasn't that good and secondly, I went to one just around the corner which chargers three times the price of this place. This place is much better, for roughly a third of the price. Friendly staff; not arrogant like some places, they listen to you, and are a great laugh. A modest business - where I look forward to many years of getting my hair done ✌????

Firstly I must point out how friendly and helpful the staff are, they make you feel so relaxed but still maintain a very professional attitude when giving advice and dealing with your hair. I would strongly recommend a visit to Lazarous salon if you require any kind of treatment or cut! I arrived for my appointment with over dyed, dried out, frizzy long hair and left with a complete new hairstyle and colour, my family and friends cannot believe the transformation and its all down to Helen, who I cannot thank enough, I am over the moon :) cheers guys, Angela x

Amazing service and incredible people, that's how I would describe my experience at Lazarou. Upon entering, I was looking to go for a hair style unlike the one I usually go for and so with the idea in my head I needed to finalise the idea by getting a bit of advice. I explained this straight away as I walked in the door and felt incredibly reassured and welcomed by the person I spoke to as they explained to me that "It was all part of the service". When in the chair, it turned out the person cutting my hair was the owner and I later learned that the person I initially spoke to upon entering was his son. The haircut was done exactly how I wanted due to the owner both listening and understanding what it was I wanted done and the end result really reflected that. I could not have been anymore happy with the service and although it isn't in my nature to normally leave a review for anyone I felt I had to, not just because of the fantastic haircut but also because of how courteous everyone was, I'll definitely be visiting Lazarou again!

Incredible experience - 10/10 I had my hair cut two days ago and requested a mohawk with shaved back & sides - not an easy job unless you're familiar with the cut or very, very experienced. Had my hair cut by a dude who did his absolute best to make it work, no doubt, but was a little out of his depth considering what I'd asked for. I wasn't happy with the cut AT All and made that clear in my original Google review. Five minutes after leaving the review, the manager, Christina, calls me. She was fantastic. She acknowledged my dissatisfaction and explained why this might of happened. She educated me on the situation and still went out of her way to make things right. I got a refund AND a do-over with Natalie (the best hairdresser there, no doubt). My haircut is perfect now and both Christina and Natalie were stellar. I spoke to the guy who cut my hair and I know that he did everything he could originally. This is the best customer service I've ever had. Thank you Natalie and Christina :) :)

Absolutely awful colourist I had. All 3 colourists were so using what to do on my hair they had no clue what to do on my hair what so ever! (Because it's their procession I trusted them) Paid £70 for my roots to be done and they beyond ruined my hair to the point half my hair on the right side was missing! I went there just over a year ago and sent them photos of the damage and they asked me to take down my feedback and they would contact me. So I did just that as they ignored my calls. They have done absolutely nothing to resolve this so here I am a year and a bit later letting everyone know the colourists are awful and amateur is not the word. I have photos to show it as well. I went in with lovely long thick blonde hair to the middle of my back and came out with a brown greeny tint colour (nothing what I asked for at all) and half my hair missing that needed to be cut above my shoulders from the damage they did. And no I shall not remove this feedback poor salon and poor aftercare when they've ruined my hair!

First thing to note is that this place doesn't take bookings. You turn up and take a seat. You will not be waiting no longer than 20 minutes because there are several hairdressers working continuously throughout the day. Everytime I've been they have I have had a different guy cutting my hair and everytime they have done exactly what I wanted or helped me decide on a new style and I've left loving it. They also are able to do a good beard trim for you fellow men who have unruly beards like my own. They are all really sociable and great to talk to, which is unusual for me because I used to want to just sit down have my hair cut and leave. But I really like the conversations here. So down to the price. I'm really happy paying for what I get here because of every thing noted above but for a city centre hairdressers it's a lot less dear than most places.

Firstly I want to say I can’t fault the service and the hair cut was pretty good. The barber was friendly and professional and the salon looks great. But. £22 for a clipper - over- comb haircut without hair wash is, I feel a bit steep. Coming from central London where I can get a cut and wash for £12 in the heart of London. Also wasn’t very pleased when I got back to work to be told by a colleague that he is charged £12 and I was probably charged the “London tax” Like I said service was great and salon looks brilliant but if you’re from out of town, probably worth going elsewhere.

Definitely would not recommend going to this hair salon for hair extensions as observed a girl get hers done and there was an obvious line across her whole head where you could see they had been put in as the colour of the extensions was totally different to the colour of her natural hair above it. Also would not go to this salon for hair colouring they are not specialists and do not know what they are doing but will sell you the dream and charge you a fortune

I wish I could post the photo of the cut I had today, I always go for the same but had a change the Barber was amazing with the way he took his time on the high fade going down to skin fade. I have been going the Churchill Way Shop and been using them for the last 10 years maybe longer I got to say one of the best cuts I have ever had. Just wish I could post a photo to show the quality of work that was done this morning on my hair.
