Samantha is a fantastic stylist. My colour and cut has never looked better. This salon caters to the client's comfort....variety of beverages and snacks, comfortable chairs, lovely music. Beautifully decorated and lots of space between the salon chairs for privacy. Clean and professional. Highly recommended!

I started going to Control Hair because of its convenient location and was randomly assigned to Candice. And I am SO glad I was!! Translating images from a pinterest board into real life is a challenge and I wasn't thrilled with how the look looked on me. Candice was an absolute gem and offered to fix it for me (free of charge)! She takes pride in her art and goes above and beyond with customer service. I am thrilled with how it turned out and highly recommend Candice for your next salon visit

Control is a beautiful salon in uptown Waterloo. My stylist Jess Wakutz is amazing! She really knows her stuff - which styles and colours will work with your hair type and skin tone. She truly cares about her clients and always makes sure I leave feeling beautiful and happy! All of the other stylists at the salon are friendly and trendy too! I am very pleased with the service at Control.

Jen has been my hairstylist for many years and I continue to follow her because she is amazing in every word sense of the word and is an incredible hairstylist and that takes pride in her work! Anyone lucky enough to seen in an appointment with her will be nothing but happy. I have felt nothing but comfortable every time I come in and everyone makes you feel welcome and at home. I also admire many of the other stylists work while I am there and if for some reason Jen couldn’t take me I would be in great hands since they all do amazing work!

She is incredibly talented and attuned to me and what I may like for my cut and colours. She gives great advice about the styles and care for my hair. An absolute treasure. Our stylist, Candice, in particular is fabulous and does all of our family's hair. When my son was young and terrified of getting a haircut she was so gentle and patient with him and now he sits with her by himself!

Sherri has done my hair twice now, and even though the salon is almost an hour away from my new home I have no intentions of finding a new salon. Sherri was also completely understanding when a family emergency occurred last month and I needed to reschedule last minute, and I'm extremely grateful. I can't wait to explore more styles in the future and have her by my side on my wedding day!
