Absolutely Fantastic Service !! Never have I ever had a haircut this well done and exactly to what I wanted. Julian is a masterful artist that really understand how hair works. I went from past shoulder length hair to medium short and he did this tough cut with patience and care. If things stay the same I dont think i'll ever go anywhere else. Fantastic price for the quality of haircut as well.

Usually this place is amazing. Usually every time I come get my haircut, it's no doubt 5 stars. Except for this time. My usual hairdresser Jessica was on a leave and not available. I was offered a level lower stylist, and I assumed whoever was going to cut my hair would have actual knowledge on what they were doing. Unfortunately not. My fade and the sides of my hair do not look professional, and looks very choppy and messy. It does not look like the usual clean cut fade I usually get with Jessica. It looks like something I could have done myself if I grabbed a pair of clippers. I'm very disappointed that I had to pay full price - no discount or whatsoever. Not to mention this person took 3x as long to cut it, then it normally does.

I got a haircut from Jessica, and I'm very happy with the results! I showed her a picture for reference and it turned out exactly how I wanted. She was friendly and patient, and even gave me tips on different ways I could style my hair. Additional thanks for the extra time spent on my hair since there was quite a lot of it~ the place itself was clean, and the other staff members were also very nice. Would definitely recommend :D

I have been looking for a place to wow me with a good haircut for many years; going from person to person dissatisfied. At Avenue I was not only given the vavavoo wow factor of an incredible haircut, but also treated with unbeatable customer service. The detail during the cut was beyond any other I've experienced before. My stylest laurine even spent extra time explaining and demonsting how to achieve a certain look i have been wanting to master on a stand of hair. Overall, she just listened to exactly what I wanted and created what I envisioned. Her passion for hair was shining through her and that was the so comforting.

Negatives: from the beginning, booking was very uncoordinated. I wanted two simultaneous appointments, one women's cut+color and one men's cut...correspondence about booking was done over email and they reached out to me over phone when there seemed to be issues with the appointment date, which was fine. Even after confirming with the staff THREE times (once during booking, once over the phone, and once when I showed up for my appointment) that I should have TWO appointments booked, they only booked one appointment which was very disappointing and inconvenient with our plans. All it all, they forgot to book the men's cut appointment and it came down to a miscommunication between the booking staff and the stylists. I'm not the type to make a stink in public but I was quite disappointed. Positives: My stylist, Jessica, was understandably stressed because of the booking error. However, she kept up a positive attitude and did an amazing job on my hair, going above and beyond for me, which I really really appreciated and I was still very happy to leave a well-deserved tip. I can see why this salon is one of the best in Mississauga. I understand that things might be crazy opening after COVID lockdowns, but...after spending a couple hundred $$$ on my hair I would have liked at least an offer to make up for the error ???? I hope the staff can smooth out the process and include a little more communication with the hairstylists. I'd suggest asking for more details from the client about the state of their hair and what they want so as to get a better idea of how long things will take, and book accordingly. For future clients, I recommend being as clear and detailed as possible when booking your appointment. The stylists are very good at their craft though and it's clear they take pride in their work! It was just a shame part of our experience was soured.

Rob did an amazing job cutting my hair. He cut my hair exactly the length I asked, not too short like with other salons I've been to. I'm so happy with these results. My hair is still long and looks really healthy. It is also shaped very nicely with long subtle layers which he recommended. Thanks Rob!! :) Also the lady who styled my hair did a really great job too, I wish I remembered her name. This salon is awesome.

I went because it had such great ratings and I wasnt disappointed. The staff were genuinely nice. I will definitely go back. I love that they use Eufora, a cruelty free natural product line. The only reason I didn't give this salon 5 stars is that the other brand they use is known for testing on animals and thats a big no no for me. I had my hair done by Rob who did a great job, I really appreciated him.

I decided to try the place after reading the reviews here. I booked appointment with Rob. Boy ! It was the best haircut I have ever had in my life. Rob was like an artist..took his time never hurried and when ended it was just wow ! I am so thankful I came across this salon and never have to search google ever again for best salons in Mississauga. I also noticed all stylists at the salon were indeed doing a good job and few of the people who left before me were all having the best haircuts...It increased my confidence with all of the staff at this salon. I would advice anybody having trouble with hair and end up dissatisfied always to try this once....all your hair woes will end..Double thumbs up !!

I went to Avenue Salon and Spa last week and got a wash, haircut, and blowdry. I went in and the front desk staff were very nice and I was told to wait until my appointment started. I was called by my stylist and had my hair washed, that went fine. The issue was when he asked me what I would like done. I showed him a refrence image and told him I wanted shoulder-length layers. He verbally said "Layers?" and I went "Yes, layers". I specifically asked for layers becasue my hair tends to be flat so I need the volume. I ended up with my hair cut all one length, and significantly longer than shoulder length. I did notice that it didn't look right, but he had been cutting my hair for like an hour and a half at that point (which is way too long to cut hair one length) and I had prior engagments after my appointment so I decided to just leave it because I physically could not sit in that chair any longer. To be fair, the cut was done alright and he styled it really nicely, I am just really confused because he knew what I wanted done, we both acknowledged it verbally, and he gave me something that was literally the complete opposite of what I asked for, and took forever doing it.

I cannot, CANNOT, stress how AMAZING this place is. At least for haircuts and styling - to be fair, I haven't tried any of their other services yet but I'm sure they're just as good. I'm so so so in love with this place and Rob. A bit of context: I have naturally curly hair and so it's really difficult to cut and style. Everyone claims to know what they're doing, yet I've had a bad experience every time. As a result, I let my hair grow long and just trim it. Given this year's been a bit of a mess and was just in need of a positive change, I decided I was finally going to cut my hair and revive my curls! Result: Rob is a fantastic master hairstylist. I legitimately walked in with my heart racing and my eyes watery because I hadn't cut my hair in 6 years. From the welcoming reception to the styling of my hair, the service was better than I expected (so much so I'd go back just for the hair wash omg). Rob took his time to listen to what I wanted to do, how long/short I wanted my hair, the end goal, how I was not looking for a cut where I needed to spend hours styling, and omg did he deliver! I also bought Eufora leave-in conditioner and styling balm and they're amazing (light and fluffy and no oily residue)! Used the spa services on my birthday for my annual pampering day, and found it very enjoyable and relaxing. The lady was very generous and gave me a few Vitamin C mask on top of the facial without charging extra as a birthday gift! She has very soft hands which my sensitive skin were very thankful for! Also got super helpful tips for skin care, for FREE! I called a couple hours and she agreed to fit me in the day of, which I'm super thankful for! I'll be using the spa again, although a more sound proof setting and some interior decor change would make this even better experience for those needing a relaxing, me time.

As a caregiver I was given a hair style I did not ask for. I said clearly one length. Now I cannot tie my hair back and it will be in my face for at least two months. I also said my hair goes out like a broom shape with a layer. I have curly hair. Make sure you get what you want in writing.

Bad experience,I went for highlights,he said 120 and other 20 for hair cut,but at the end he charged me 190, I don't want short hairs.so and he just trim my hairs at the end and charge me more than 50 dollars,I shocked.so he charged me 190 dollars with no blower drawer no setting.very expensive will never go at that place and meanwhile I have to wait for 15 min in sink with soap on my hairs because he was cutting other customer hairs.

Every time I walk in, it feels like home. The stylists, the receptionists, and the spa lady are so friendly and welcoming. I would highly reccomend checking this place out. Prices are very reasonable, for a higher end salon. Plus, the cappucinos you get during services. Lastly, I have the most wonderful and passionate stylist.. Stephanie. Her work is incredible, and she has so much patience. She doesn't allow you to leave unless your hair is perfect. She already knows what to do with my hair, and I trust her fully with it.

The worst thing I could say about this salon is having to choose between Steve and Julian. Can't go wrong with those two. Everyone on staff works as a team. They are all very professional. Most importantly the staff listen and give great feedback. I have never been disappointed and have always been happy with my look. Julian is very good at making you look polished and has great attention to detail. Steve fixed a botched dye job from another salon -he put his own touch and we found a great colour that suit my skin tone. Thanks Avenue Salon&Spa.
