My son’s hair has been ruined in this place because of someone who does not know what she’s doing..when I saw his hair I was so appalled..he asked that his hair is cut to level 3 and found her literally shaving it to level 1 !!! She has not used any scissors and only used the machine.. is that how you get a haircut???? Very unprofessional and I am very disappointed

My mom has been going to Bruno for the last 30 years and won't change stylists at all! She loves the style and his conversations. Super friendly and also makes time to see her. I've also been having Sam cut my hair and she is always great!

I have been going to Avanti for over 5 years and everyone is amazing at there job. The environment is clean and the atmosphere is friendly with a relaxed feel. Alex and Sam make my son very comfortable when getting his hair cut as kids can be a challenge but they always do an awesome job. Bruno and Alex always make happy when I come in for a dye/cut/style, it's my favorite place and wI'll not go anywhere else. Keep up the great work ????

My friend came to this hair salon after reading the good reviews, to have it professionally done for her graduation photos. She had asked for a simple trim and a balayage as this was the first time she was colouring hair. My friend had showed the stylist a photo of what she wanted (a beautifully blended balayage with two front pieces). The hairdresser that took care of her was an asian, blue glasses, short, shoulder length brown/blonde hair lady. After reviewing the photo, the stylist reassured my friend that the look she is trying to achieve, is manageable and the whole appointment including the cut, will take two hours. The appointment did not take two hours and took over three hours. On top of that, her balayage was the opposite of what she wanted. It is horrendously blended and there are sections of her hair that is not even highlighted, let alone balayaged. There are parts of her "balayage" that are not consistent in colour as some of the pieces were splotchy in tone. The two front pieces that she had requested are way too chunky and any of the parts of her hair that is coloured, are not blended at the roots. It looks like as if my friend tried to install blonde tape in extensions and didnt try to hide them because some of the pieces have these harsh straight lines. As for the hair cut, one side of her hair is shorter than the other. Its not a huge difference but it is also noticeable. She is more forgiving with the cut but the colour, I have no words for. My friend was so upset she decided not to do her grad photos. Her hair affected her that much, she missed out on an important milestone because someone butchered her hair for over $150. I know it is easier said than done that she should have said something and she did ask questions here and there, but you also need to understand when you have a young client coming to your chair for the first time, they need a little guidance. I have worked at a hair salon for four and a half years and know stylists should be speaking with clients step by step in the process of changing their hair. Yes she has been offered to fix her hair for free and while I think that would be a perfect learning opportunity for the stylist to learn, please also understand this is how you lose clients easily. I do not know how the stylist or anyone in the establishment let her walk away like that. It does not take long to spread words about companies. She is now seeing a hairdresser I have put her with to fix the damage that has been left behind. Please do better and to future clients, do not come here. EDIT: I added the following photos taken by my hairdresser to indicate, what my friend had done for a "balayage". It looks out grown but it is not because this is exactly what she left with from YOU. My hairdresser went out of her way to stay past her business of operation hours, to fix this and actually made sure, the client left happy. Something you want to take note of.

After I have tried a few different salons in Mississauga, I went back to Bruno for my hair cut this weekend. Bruno by far has the best cut in Mississauga ( I had so far), and since he has been in the business for so many years, he really knows how to treat his client's cut/ styling properly. It was great to see Bruno again!

I've been going to Avanti for over 20 years now! First with Bruno who is a master at his craft, and then I met Sam who had let my creativity flow , for the last 5 years we have been playing with different colours, cuts and curls! Since finding Sam, I'm ruined for all other hairdressers lol she's kind, professional, funny and has that magic touch with hair. I've never left disappointed...I highly recommend Avanti and Sam for a cut/colour that puts that spring back into your step!! Although salons have been open for awhile now, I've waited a year until I could book with Sam who has returned only recently... there's just a connection that makes you loyal and coming back for more ♡ See below for a few of the colours we've tried :)

After a crazy long break for pandemic, Samantha dressed my hair and made me look better again. This is a highly recommended place for all good reasons of price, quality, professionalism and above all, good feel and courtesy by the team.

Did not like the service that I got and did not get what I told them to do. Did the colour too light and I highly recommend who ever is seeing this that you go somewhere else to do your hair unless you want your hair ruined and pay so much money for something you did not ask for.

He also gave me a few tips on how to keep the hair style looking good. Overall an excellent salon and hair stylist. Would recommend to everyone.

They over charge you. Ask them what the haircut is going to cost you upfront. Was shocked when they charged me $23 for a horrible haircut. You are better of with a First Choice or Great Clips.

Due to depression I had very matted tangled hair. I went to so many salons that turned me down or gave me ridiculous prices. Or they just wanted to chop it all off I called Bruno desperate and asked him to take me in the day off. He was extremely busy but told me to come in and he would do the best he can. I went into Avanti Hair Salon for he first time ever and I instantly felt at home and comfortable! Nor Bruno or his clients judge the birds nest in my head. They were all so positive and supportive. Bruno refused to cut my hair. Instead he told me that my hair was beautiful and that he was going to salvage it. And that is exactly what he did!! I’m so blessed to have found Bruno. He took extremely good care of me. He prices are extremely fair and is work is magical. From now on Avanti Hair Salon is where my family and I will go for all our hair needs.
