Just moved to longueuil from quebec city and was looking for a new barber. I noticed the father-son special and decided to call and ask if they would do my 2 yo first real haircut. I was surprised and pleased that they booked us for the same day I called and went to give it a try. I arrived a bit late but they were still waiting for me and didn't make any bad comment about the time. I know how frustrating that must be for them but I still received an amazing service. Daoud greeted my son as if he was the greatest customer in the world and the little guy was at ease with him. I was a little nervous about his reaction from the clipper and getting his hair cut and as I expected he screamed and shrieked the whole time while trying to fight Daoud. I was supposed to get my haircut at the same time but I had to hold my son to help a little, putting me even more late than I was with Benjy. Daoud managed not only to cut but style him a haircut that ressembles mine. I expected him to just cut it short and do it ASAP but he went way beyond my expectations with the result and it took only about 5 minutes despite my son's tantrum. When he was done, he took my son by the hand for a stroll in the shop where everyone complimented him and told him how good he looks with his new hair. Took the edge off right away. I then managed to sit him in the stroller so Benjy could do my hair and beard. Benjy was super professional, asked me what I want and delivered it flawlessly. I asked to keep most of my beard's length and he cut conservatively, I even asked him to remove a bit more. Asked him to just shorten the cut I already had and make a modification or two if he thought he could make it better and he did make it way better. Better looking and easier to maintain. I made him finish his shift later that he was supposed to and never did he make me feel rushed or did he rush his job. He asked if I like it and if I wanted anything done differently. He was a great conversationalist but wasn't over talkative either. Very skilled and professional. I haven't had the chance to try other barbershops in the area yet and now I don't think I will have to. I felt welcomed as a client and as a parent. 10 out of 10 Thank you very much for the experience and I'll see you next month for sure!

Until I see what seemed to be the owner out of the backstore to give the phone to Alexe (who was already busy with a client, like the other two). This is where I told myself, a chance that we arrived VERY early, imagine if I had arrived late because of my glitch higher ... During the hours that I was there, I saw 3 professionals trying to do their job, seeing clients enter one behind the other, in addition to having to answer the phone. Notre expérience avec Sophie a été très bien, son travail est impeccable et ça parait qu'elle l'a à cœur! Comme dit précédemment, c'était la première fois nous allions à votre établissement. J'avais trainé avec moi votre numéro de téléphone, au cas où. Comme de fait, n'ayant pas l'adresse mais sachant à peu près où vous étiez, on a passé tout droit (aucune affiche évidente lorsque l'on arrive de la 116 vers votre place... définitivement, une enseigne qui est une voiture... caché derrière un camion et de la neige, c'est peut-être pas la meilleure stratégie pour vous faire voir). Une fois beaucoup plus loin sur Chambly, nous avons décidé de nous arrêter pour vous appelez pour nous répéter l'adresse. Nous avons appelé 3 fois, sans réponse. J'ai trouvé un endroit où m'arrêter pour avoir accès à votre adresse. Une fois sur place, 3 barbiers/barbières très occupés, personne à la réception. On nous a salué, demandez si nous avions un rendez-vous et avec qui. Comme nous avons arrivé 1 heure d'avance (circonstances ont fait en sorte qu'on était dans le coin bien avant l'heure), j'ai pu remarqué qu'il n'y avait vraiment personne attitré à la réception. Le téléphone sonnait, pas de réponse. Jusqu'à ce que je vois ce qui me semblait le propriétaire sortir du backstore pour donner le téléphone à Alexe (qui était déjà occupée avec un client, comme les deux autres). C'est là que je me dit, une chance que nous sommes arrivés TRÈS d'avance, imaginez si j'avais arrivé en retard à cause de mon pépin plus haut... Pendant les heures que j'ai été là, j'ai vu 3 professionnels essayer de faire leur job, en voyant des clients entrer un en arrière de l'autre, en plus de devoir répondre au téléphone. Personnellement, être cliente, je serais un peu tannée de voir mon barbier/coiffeur s'arrêter tout le temps pour gérer des appels. Pourquoi pas de réceptionniste? J'imagine que c'est une journée bien tranquille, le mercredi. Le service à la clientèle est primordial, j'en doute même pas que vous le savez. Mais à cause de ce "détail", je n'ai pas pu être satisfaite à 100% du service rendu cette journée-là... et ce n'est certainement pas de la faute des 3 barbiers/barbières qui étaient sur place. Le temps prévu VS "en réalité" pour vos "forfaits Vinnie" seraient à revoir. L'heure prévue pour le forfait à mon conjoint est devenue environ 2 heures. Heureusement, nous avions rien de prévu après ce rendez-vous. Bref, nous avons été satisfait du service rendu par Sophie. Fort possible que nous reviendrons. Il y a matière à revoir la gestion de la place dans une journée potentiellement tranquille pour éviter de vous faire surprendre. Pourquoi ne pas investir dans une enseigne plus "traditionnelle" plutôt qu'une voiture? On ne vous voit pas =(

I am going to start this in a weird way. Stay with me. When I was growing up there was a kid in the neighborhood named Jimmy. In kindergarten Jimmy would pull girl's hair, yell at the teacher, or spit on kids he didn't like. He would steal their toys and break their crayons. Sometimes he would even get violent with the special Ed kids down the hall. I took it upon myself to see what made this little guy tick. Somewhere around grade 10 I decided it was time to REALLY get to know him, so I started talking to him and acting like I thought his stunts were cool to win him over. Eventually he caved and invited me to his house. For about 6 hours he regaled me with tales of his psychotic and often violent escapades into harassment, assault, animal torture, verbal abuse of his aging single mother. At the end of the evening I told him I couldn't hang out with someone like him and that he should not talk to me again on Monday. Monday rolled around and it quickly became evident that Jimmy didn't care if anyone else in the world lived or died, his singular goal was to destroy my life. Over the course of the next two years he killed my bird, set fire to my jungle gym, threw his own feces at our house, spread rumors about my mother and father, stole and destroyed my mountain bike, tried to have me arrested for theft and vandalism he commited... Generally he was a gigantic thorn in my side from that Monday until graduation day. On grad day when I walked up to get my diploma and shake the principal's hand Jimmy went to a place I never thought he would go. He pulled out a handgun of some kind and shot me twice. One bullet hit me in the thigh, while the other penetrated just above the pelvis. I spent 6 months in the hospital and 3 years in grueling physical therapy before I could walk without a limp, and I will never be able to father children. All the while. Jimmy was there almost daily to flip me the bird and then stand there grinning while picking his nose. As you can imagine, I hate Jimmy. I hate him with the burning fury of 1,000 suns. I hate him in ways that the English language has not yet created words to convey. He is the slime, the offal, the refuse of a broken and dying world. The only thing in the world I hate more than Jimmy is what was done to my face at this barbershop. The place was cool, the people were nice, and the atmosphere was GREAT. What was not great was me telling the barber 'I am going for a big bushy beard, but I have a meeting on Monday so I need to get cleaned up a bit. I don't want to lose length, and PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH the moustache." ...And then walking out with no moustache left, and my previously ~8cm (3-4 inches) long whiskers are now 1-2 mm at best... Donc il me mouille la tête avec de l’eau en spray et commence à m’amincir le dessus... mais moi j’ai plein de gel force 4 et je vois ben que ça colle toute sur ses ciseaux... y’a l’air d’un imbécile mais il dit rien et moi trop mal à l’aise je dis rien non plus. Alors il fait juste passer à autre chose en finissant pas sa job parce que c’est impossible. J’ai encore aussi épais de cheveux mais avec des marques tout croche dans tête. Ensuite il me rase autour en voulant dégrader en montant... le pire dégradé que j’ai vu. Ça passe de 1 à 4 on voit toute l’écart, c’est pas égal des deux bords, bref de la grosse marde. En tout il passe à peu près 12 minutes sur ma tête et me montre l’arrière avec son miroir. Je comprends donc qu’il a fini. Moi pas mieux pour partir au plus vite je lui dis que c’est correct. Je paie et je pars. Je vois bien que les commentaires sur ce salon sont bons... dsl mais moi je suis obligé de vous dire que c’est ma pire expérience. 28$ que je réinvestirais pour ravoir mes cheveux comme ils étaient avant d’entrer là.

There are so many things that went wrong during my visit that I felt compelled to leave a one star review. In my mind it boils down to them being a victim of their own success. This place has great reviews and I am sure they have many satisfied customers. However my experience was not good at all. 1 - In all my years I have always preferred to go to a barber shop over a hair salon because every barber shop I have visited rarely took appointments and we can walk in and get a cut or a shave. I tried this here and the receptionists told me that I needed a reservation. So I did because I was going on the reviews here. 2. Showed up for my appointment and the barber was so overwhelmed and seemed so rushed and busy. Most probably is because they book everyone so close that there is no room for being personable . This place is so busy with their existing clients that any new clients seem like a real burden for them.

The service is good, however they had an "apprentis" barber doing her stage, she's improved a lot. However there was a misunderstanding between a cancelation I once made and the fee for the actual price, she never mentioned why it was 10$ more expensive she just said "it's a fee" later to realize she was charging me 10$ for the cancelation from last month, the problem was I made my cancelation by calling which is the fastest way to cancel when something comes up....so I left a message saying I wouldn't be able to make it, it was a 4 hours notice so the spot could be replaced. They never checked their messages so they tried to put a 10$ fee on me for not canceling the right way....however if they did their administration job , I wouldn't have paid a surprise 10$ and the woman who didn't explain it to me properly was very arrogant saying I was the issue, not them but they never checked their messages. Anyways. The service is great! But don't expect anything else to be properly explained, even when I was paying she sent me to the store next door to pay...like sorry what? Then I go to the store next door....and the lady looks at me like I'm crazy and has no idea what I'm doing there (it's a sex shop) and sends me back, so now at this point I've been in the barbers, to the sex shop. Back to the barbers, and now being walked back to the sex shop with the female barber and all with an extra 10$, fee but I'm the problem and I'm the disorganized one ?
