Hairstylist Mare gave me a great cut 2 wks ago and I booked her today for highlights and toner and she did a Great job!! Being there 2 hrs would've earned 5 stars but the corporate offices who own this store do not offer WiFi to their clients so for that reason I gave it 4 stars. When a client is spending that much $$ and time in the salon, surely you corporate people could afford free WiFi for us. You've got it anyways. I just don't understand that?!?! Your stylists look after us! You could too!!

Suzie cut my hair today and it was the worst experience ever. She asked another person by the name of Sima (I think) to take over and clear her mess! And she had no choice but to cut my hair super short to somehow fix the mess. Suzie did not even apologize for the uneven look on my head which I have to live with for at least another two months! I took my son tonight for his first time hair cut. I wasn't allowed in, so my husband went and said we want a trim to make it look not so boxy. She cut alot off and the back wasn't straight at all. She also missed around his ear and on one side cut to much off so now there a huge grab between his ear and hair line. I called and they said 12 dollars because normally first time hair cuts are just a trim and that was perfect She ended up charging us full price for a hack job. I had to go home and fix it myself. If I knew we where getting a full cut I would of picked a hair style. So disappointed!:(

Used to come here for years, two years ago I had the worst experience ever and recommend against them ever since. Mare absolutely destroyed my hair, I had a picture for an exact reference and it ended up being the exact opposite. Crystal is one of the most unprofessional bosses I’ve ever met - she will talk badly about clients to other clients. After my experience here I learned she had been discussing it and talking ill of me with someone we both know, whom she also knows through years of getting my family’s business, has posed as a threat to myself and my family. Wouldn’t recommend this place in a million years. Savannah is the only stylist I’ve had there that is personable and can properly cut hair.

Entered supercuts at 7:35 they close at 8:00 and was told they are all booked up! The hair dressers were just sitting in the chairs no other clients entered the store, slipped over to pet smart and drove by supercuts 15 minutes later and still no customer! A mens cut would have taken 10 -15 minutes not sure why I was told they were all booked up! Needless to say I wont be back!

Not a bad experience, but nothing that stood out. Went on a Friday afternoon, line up was not crazy waited about 10 minutes. Lady was very friendly and cut was quick - overall not the best cut as after washing when I got home there was a bunch of hairs that were longer, especially on the sides that should have been buzzed. Probably won’t be back - had better outcome for that price at other places.

Took my nephew here today who was absolutely against the idea of getting a hair cut. The stylist was amazing and we talked him into an amazing fresh new look. By the end of the cut he was smiling from ear to ear and couldn't get enough of himself in the mirror! The service was fast and the job was done efficiently. She asked me my input and his which I loved! I would recommend this salon. The stylist had a lot of patience and let me know what she would or wouldn't do. Amazing cut and fast friendly service.

Went in because my usual place closed earlier than usual, and I'm so glad I did. From the get-go, the staff were friendly. I had Theresa cut my hair and she did an incredible job. She turned a shapeless head of hair into something worth showing off again :). It made me feel at ease that the pictures I showed her, as an example, she knew exactly how to execute it. Thank you Theresa. I will be back again! For those who are into smaller details, the place was clean and well l-maintained, and the prices are competitive. To be honest, I'm willing to pay the amount I did today vs the expensive amounts that the usual highend salons charge, and still get the same quality cut, maybe even better.

I have been to several hairdressers in my years. I'm not picky about much, but my hair is the one thing I'm quite picky about. I've had some horrible haircuts to the point of crying, and I've been lucky enough to find a couple awesome hairdressers that ai went to for years but they either relocated too far or closed up for personal reasons. For too long now I've been going here and there trying to find "the one" again. Yesterday, I went to Supercuts for the first time. Admittedly, I was nervous. I have long naturally curly hair so I'm always concerned about "too short". Yesterday, Savannah cut my hair and she did an amzing job. It was nothing fancy; just a trim with long layers, but I was VERY happy when I left there. I plan to take my daughter (who also has very long hair) to see her next weekend. I will definitely go back to have Savannah cut my hair. It's nothing against any other lady there; they were all very friendly & courteous. I just like to find my comfort with one person at a time. lol

My boyfriend and I went in get haircuts Saturday afternoon. Both stylists were almost done what they were doing when we walked in. My boyfriend wanted a cut and I wanted a cut and a full head dye. Shaun introduced us with warm smiles and said not a problem. When Shaun went back to finish the young boy she was working on you could hear the other woman, Stephanie, complaining that Shaun said she was able to dye my hair. She said it so loudly it seemed like she was ensuring I could hear. When Stephanie was done her client she came up to us and asked who wanted to go first. She was well aware mine would take longer but did not offer to take me and took my boyfriend instead. When Shaun was available to work on my hair she apologized and said that they stop taking colours after 4... it was 4:03 when she was available. Shaun was amazing. She was so apologetic and she was amazing to deal with. She would coach you with what she was doing next. Warned me about the length when it dries that it would go shorter. She was great! Stephanie’s service was disappointing. I’ve been in the service and sales industry for too many years. I was willing to pay extra money for a service. It was three minutes after four. If she is I satisfied with having to do the work, she did not need to be verbal about it in front of clients. She made it obvious she did not want to do it nor did she want to stay maybe 10 to 20 minutes longer to make the extra money and do my service. I would come back for Shaun’s service and smiles but Stephanie made me want to walk out.

Do not go here to get your hair coloured. I went to get highlights done and left with my hair looking awful. My roots are completely showing, there’s orange stripes going half way down my head and my hair is completely damaged. When asking for a refund, they said they are unable to do that and my hair was damaged before arriving. If my hair was so damaged, as professionals, why would you allow my service ? Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I brought my 8 year old daughter to get her hair cut. Which we've came to this salon a couple of times and never had any complaints. However The girl who cut her hair this time had no enthusiasm for her profession. She didnt introduce her self or even communicate with my self or more so my daughter. There was no enthusiasm at all. My daughter felt like she didnt want to speak her opinion when being asked due to her unwelcoming nature. With the customer service portion out of the way I was completely disappointed with the hair cut provided today. She didnt blend my daughters hair, when giving her bangs her cuts were very boxed, &, her hair wasn't even. When I potlitly asked for the hair stylist to even out the left side vs the right and to attempt to blend her boxed bangs she provided eye rolls. Which ended our visit with out any satisfaction. To be Frank I wouldnt of even paid for the service if my daughter wasnt standing right there.

I’ve been going here for a while. And I NEVER go here to get my hair dyed, just for my side shave. And I went here last week and the girl made me hold my own hair from side to side instead of clipping it, and I got hairs stuck in my hoodie which can go into the skin and cause infection...so thanks? And she took the buzzer and ran it across my sides so fast instead of doing it evenly. So my sides are going to grow out unevenly. Who trained this girl? I felt really bad for her. Her anxiety was obviously off the wall and she needs to be working along side someone clearly. I still tipped her, not much. But I did because the service was pathetic. I recommend Savannah. Unfortunately she was busy at the time, and a girl there that has wavy hair and her eyebrow pierced. She never lets me down. But damn Supercuts, be more stingy on who you hire.

I chose this location because it appeared clean and professional however I was disappointed. Upon entering, it took 4-5 mins before being greeted. I was told there was a 30 min wait but it took just over an hour for my turn. Although the stylist was very friendly, I am not pleased with the cut. My bangs are horrible and now too short to fix. I didn't realize until after I left that she didn't even finish trimming the underneath as requested. Her work space still had hair trimmings all over the counter & towel. I surely won't be back and highly recommend going elsewhere.

I really like what they did with my hair today! I had been to that location once before, and both times the stylists are very skilled, not too too friendly just the right amount of friendly and they are professional. The area is clean, and modern. They have a great selection of styling products to choose and they offered me a hot aromatherapy towel to clean my hands of stray hair before leaving! From now on, I will only go there for a haircut and I will definitely go more often. Thank You

I've been a Supercuts York Mills customer for many years. Stopped by today for my usual and to correct a bad haircut while travelling last month. Susie and her team do a great job to give me a consistent haircut every time. I have had many different stylists over the years and all have been fantastic. Great store; keep it up Supercuts!

I just wanted to give this place a shot. Hairdresser could have been friendlier. Asked how I wanted a cut I said zero fade. Zero never touched the sides. Then asked about the top of head and I said trim down. The response back was, you need to grown that out it won't look right if I trim it down and anyone doing that should know not to trim the top. Apparently I've been doing my hair wrong for years. Wasn't my best hair cut for $28 now it just looks silly.. Definitely the last time I'm going there for a cut.

Although, the dye job of my hair looked great when I was leaving and I thanked the stylist and even tipped, I get home and have a closer look. I find my forehead has about an inch down of dye on it and a few other spots. I send feedback to the store via their website only to be told by management that this is NORMAL!!! No, it is not normal, I am not that stupid. So, NO, I do NOT recommend Super Cuts Charlottetown.

This is the second time I got my haircut here, and likely the last. Although the haircut itself turned out ok, the experience was terrible. All the staff have such displeasure in their looks and I got attitude at every step of the way. First a check in when I didn't want to give my last name and got such a dirty look. The reason I did not is because they don't even make an effort to spell things right so what is the point. Then I sat down and the hairdresser commented with displeasure about how much product was in my hair. I styled it so they would know what I want the style to look as when done. She made me wash my hair (extra charge) then cut my hair and left me covered in tiny little hairs. If you are going to charge me a shampoo fee, I expect to go home without a million hairs still on my head that I would then have to shower again when I got home. The hair washing should be done after the cut to avoid this. Too bad, I was hoping to find a new barber shop, but this is not going to be it.

I brought my 14yo niece in for a haircut. Supercuts was the only salon taking clients, I'll be honest i was apprehensive about getting our hair done there. Boy was I wrong! The ladies there were so friendly, professional and kind. My niece has always had long hair and wanted to go short. The stylists sat with her and looked at some styles she was thinking about, suggested a style and off they went. She cut off a few inches and checked in with my niece ensuring she wanted to proceed. The ladies there helped her overcome her fear of cutting off all her hair and helped her see that she is not defined by her hair. I can not thank them enough . The photos are as the hair was being cut, not the final product. (The line on her neck was from an undercut I did a few days prior, the stylist softened the line very well.)

Always had bad luck here, and I have given them several chances too. Even the simplest of hair cuts... some how they mess them up... they do a rush job and charge top dollar for it. If you are looking for a good clean hair cut, go somewhere else. There are better salons around that charge the same or less and do a far better job. The only positive thing I can say is that they are friendly.

I went in to get my haircut on Dec 28th. I specifically asked not to cut my hair too short because I will get "cow licks". Well my hair was cut to short and I have been wearing a baseball cap since then. I even said to the stylist "Just trim it...I should be back for another haircut in 3 to 4 weeks" Well make that 10 weeks now. I wasn't asked if I wanted a shampoo, blow dry, or gel for my hair. I actually left the shop with my hair wet into the cold. Very disappointed.
