I went in and had Bailey work on my hair. Before seeing her i boxed dyed my hair and box bleached it multiple times myself. My hair was a disaster!!! Thankfully she has not only saved it but has also taught me alot along the way. Not only are the stylists amazing here but they have such a fun and family dynamic here!! You dont go in to just get your hair done. You go in to relax, have a tea and talk to everyone in there, including the person and stylist next to you!! Definitely going back for more!!

I was able to get an appointment quickly, and Kris listened to what I wanted, asked questions about my hair goals, and created a plan very quickly that I completely agreed with and understood. The salon itself is great. I haven't been to any of the other ladies so I can't speak to how good they are (though judging by their own hair.. they definitely are) but I absolutely adore Bailey. I've been colouring and trimming my own hair for 10 years. When I finally worked up the nerve to let someone else touch it I came to Bailey because she was an old friend and I had seen her incredible hair transformations on IG. She blew all of my expectations out of the water. I've come back to her many times since and will never let anyone but her touch my hair again. Her balayage skills are extremely impressive and the long inverted bob she's given me makes my days better and easier. I'm in love with it and only wish I could go back in time and have her do my wedding hair! Highly recommend this salon, and Bailey.

Went to Hairloft for the first time after a recommendation from my sister in law and was NOT disappointed. Made an appointment with Bailey for a cut and balayage, she did an amazing job! Listened to what I wanted and didn't take it over board. On top of that the entire salon had a great atmosphere, was greated within seconds of walking in and got right down to business. I am from Milton, however the trip to Cambridge is 150% worth it.

Haven't had my hair done/dyed in over 10 years and Kris did an amazing job with my hair! I have naturally black/dark brown hair and she gave me silver/blonde balayage in just one shot! I've been told that it usually takes a few sessions before getting it to this colour. All the ladies work so well together and they make you feel very welcomed. Atmosphere is great! **I’m using my husbands account** I am not one to complain or leave reviews in general but I think this place deserves one. I’ve never died my hair before so I went in for a consultation. I have black hair and I wanted to be more or less blond. I spent some time with one of their stylist I had the appointment with. After being told my treatment would be $200 I agreed on proceeding. After many hours and the stylists colleagues criticizing her work I left questioning what I payed for. To say the least, it was not what I had in mind. Understanding that turning blonde being brunette is quite a journey, I never expected to have a perfect style after the first appointment, but I also wasn’t expecting to feel ashamed walking around. I was charged $300 plus tips, and without asking questions I walked away, Trying to tell myself it was fine and tried to get used to the new look but I couldn’t. I went back and spoke with the manager and told her I was unhappy with the result hoping they would offer to rectify the issue with at least a discount for their time (telling her about the misunderstanding regarding the bill, and being basically told it was my fault not considering 200 as 300) but instead I was made to feel like a child asking for an expensive toy from my parents before it was my birthday. I was told I used the wrong products to take care of my hair for a month (even I explicitly asked what to use while they were working on my hair since I’m very ignorant about hairstyle, and a general response was given). A few minutes after leaving, I received a call saying that they would like to make it right for free and to call back to book an appointment at my convenience. I called back the next day and was then told that too much time had lapsed since the work was done and they would have to charge me full price. This is an incredibly unprofessional way to conduct business.No one should have to endure this Much shame when simply consulting a professional business.

Sarah is amazing! She works wonders! She's got the magic touch! I would recommend her instantly! I have never been to this salon before but my current hairstylist recmmonded to see her for getting my extensions out. I came in with a pretty bad extension matted up job from inexperience of not knowing how to up keep cuz the girl who orginally put in my extensions didn't give me much info! Sarah was really honest and upfront with me that it might take awhile and I might have to come back and I could also tell she was scared for me but as well for her job pulling on my hair. She almost turned me away! But I was willing to go threw the torture of getting them out no matter what. But Sarah worked her magic and instantly the bonds came out! She treated me amazing I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and she really gives you a lot of info that I wished I had in the first place before getting them in. Also the atmosphere in the salon was super nice her other coworker I think owner of the shop is super friendly! I will defintely be coming back to see her in the near future!!!

I've been getting my hair done by Kris since 2008. Kris and her team attends hair shows, conferences and workshops to keep up with changing hair trends. Without a doubt, you will leave the salon looking good! The team listens to what you want, and always deliver! I highly recommend this salon. They have the best staff on the team and they know what they're doing! There's a lot of competition out there but their prices are very reasonable. ????????

What can't I say about this salon! 5 stars all the way. First off I drive all the way from downtown Toronto to come see Kris! She is one bad ass hair artist! She is knowledgable and listens to the client. I won't like I'm picky and I'm not shy about that, she wasn't even phased! She not only gave me a bad ass hair cut, her blow outs are to die for, they last me a whole week!!! The prices are on point! The salon has a happy vibe to it as Kris and Lynn make the atmosphere super fun! I make my appointments via email, so easy! Kris is always willing to work around my right schedule! I just moved to the area and have always been very nervous with trying new hair stylists due to bad past experiences but the entire time I was surprisingly calm, I felt like I was in good hands, I went in to color my hair a rose gold and what I like about this place was at first the color didn’t sit well in my hair but instead of trying to play it off like that’s how it’s supposed to be (as some salons have done that to me in the past) they fixed it so my hair would come out the way I asked. Took a bit longer but they still got me out in time for work and that alone was so great! They made sure I got what I asked for. And it’s absolutely exactly what I wanted! The amount of compliments on my hair that I’ve been getting is unreal (no joke) %100 would recommend to anyone! Oh and to top it off when I asked for JUST A TRIM they gave me exactly that without taking too much off!!! Which not many stylists know how to do Apparently !

Honestly probably one of the best hair salons I've gone too. I have had both Chris and Quinn as a stylist and both are definitely worth it. Chris was an absolute pro at fixing and giving me a new hair cut. Quinn even being a new stylist is absolutely phenomenal at what she does. Sarah cut my hair, and did a fantastic job, and gave me some great tips for colouring my hair. I'm not sure what the "classic" girl's name was that did my girlfriends hair, but she did an amazing job as well. Also, the prices aren't bad at all! I highly recommend this salon to everyone! Its so hard to find a salon and a hair stylist that you love and want to keep going back to. But this place is an amazing choice. I personally went to this salon becaus of Bailey. I found pictures of her work online and I knew right away this girl was talented and that I had to get in to see her. I booked right through her, it was super easy. I absolutely adored her when I met her, she's so sweet, and SO funny. Such a fun appointment! As for my hair, I struggled with explaining to her what I wanted and she somehow figured it out because when she was finished, I absolutely LOVED my hair. She nailed it. It was exactly what I wanted. All the girls in the salon are great and it's such a fun atmosphere. I'm really happy I found this salon, and Bailey. Would recommend 10/10.

I didn't want to give any star, but it won't allow me to write a review without choosing one. That's the only reason I chose one star! I went to the salon for a haircut and hair color balayage. I had my hair grown really nice long after having a baby and just wanted a really nice haircut. She told me over phone at the time of appointment that they will give consultation and will give hair color according to my face cut and complexion. I was really excited as that was my 5th anniversary and I really wanted to look good and celebrate. When my husband, my baby and I reached there, she started making rude face, she didn't give even one simple advice. No inputs at all. She very bluntly said that I have to decide since I am not her old client. When I said, okay I have a picture of the style I wanted to, she didn't even have a look and very unprofessionally told me that time is running and we had to start now. I assumed and expected from a professional hairstylist to know what a client wants. I rather decided to just cancel that appointment after discussing with my husband. I believe there was no point of spending $300+ bucks there to such a rude, unprofessional and nonserious hairdresser. We immediately asked her if she want to charge something for cancelling. All I want to share here is that people like me spend money for their looks for a better service and not for chip on one's shoulder

Love this salon so much! Such a great vibe here, I’m never pressured into anything. The stylist I always see is Bailey and I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair before. People stop me all the time and ask where I got it done. I used to go to xcentric in waterloo, spent 300 + and always left unsatisfied, I decided to try Hair Loft 77 because it was close by and I feel like I found a hidden gem. I came in with grown-out caramel highlights and a weird set of layers from my last cut at another salon. I had an appointment with Lynn, let her know my vision and I am so happy with the results! My hair is now a beautiful, cherry chocolate brown and looks amazing with my new layered cut that I know ccompliments my hair even if it's straight or curly. Ive been a client of Bailey’s for years now , I moved to Cambridge and needed to find a new salon which is always a scary journey for me because I am on the shy side and sometimes I find salons to be too “posh” for me. Hair Loft 77 is very welcoming , incredibly clean, thoughtfully decorated and not a huge salon where you feel overwhelmed. The staff have always been very helpful to each other with their clients (pre Covid) , very professional and talented ... I did visit during Covid and felt very safe with the precautions being taken. I am writing this review to clear up a couple of negative reviews that a couple recent people have posted on Hair Loft 77's review site. First and foremost, I have been going to Lynn and Kris for several years (even when they worked at other salons). When they decided to open their own salon I can't tell you how excited I was to spread the word that THIS was the SALON to go to. The negative comments from Elizabeth A and Atlas are the furthest from being correct. This salon goes above and beyond in working with their customers and will accommodate at the best of times. If you have just moved into the city and think that you are so deserving, and can get into any salon at any time (especially when salons have just opened up again due to COVID, perhaps you should go back to the city you came from and go to your usual salon. These "Professional stylists" go above and beyond and produce nothing but the best of customer service with their clients. This is a business!. Do you think that if you were trying to book a dinner engagement and the restaurant was full that they would set up a table to accommodate you? LOL. What is the difference with a hair salon? You wait your turn and those salons that have great reviews are salons that you have to WAIT to get in for an appointment! As for the comment that one of you stated about their "high end matters come first". This is a total joke. They are the most down to earth ladies one could ever meet and would NEVER state something like that. Perhaps the reason you can't get in for an appointment is because they are BUSY, and because they are THE BEST at Styling and coloring hair. SHAME ON BOTH of you for making rude and negative comments about a salon that you have NEVER had the privilege to visit. Glad you were able to find a salon of your liking as Hair Loft 77 does not need negative clients. They are a class act Salon!

I relocated to Cambridge from Alberta and had to find a hairstylist. I didn’t have any point of reference, so all I had to go on was Google reviews and website pictures. The reviews were really good, so I decided to give them a try. When I first called and said what I was looking for, they booked me in with Bailey. Since I had not had my hair professionally done since February, due to COVID, Bailey didn’t have much to go on, so I showed her a picture of what I wanted and what my hair was like before. She came back with some mixing bowls of colour, doing a combination of 3 colours, with high lights and low lights, and went to work. She did a spectacular job and totally exceeded my expectations!!! Not only was the colour excellent but she also did a beautiful job styling it, which I usually do not like the way other people style my hair, so that says a lot in my world. They are doing a great job at following covid protocols while still providing great service for their clientele. The salon is open on Mondays right now, which is typically a closed day for salons and day off for staff. Went here for the first time in June 2016. I was going through some health problems and wanted to do something that would lift my spirits. I had virgin hair having donated it two years prior. I brought pictures of what I wanted and spent time fully explaining what I wanted . I went for balayage ombré and walked out with highlights. They still made me pay which I think was terrible. I hate to give bad reviews but I am new to the area and was looking for an appointment with more than 4 weeks notice for a special occasion. Not only was the salon completely in-flexible with appointment days/times, but was not professional while speaking with me on the phone and basically told me flat out that the higher ticket (more expensive) services would be more important on that particular day meaning they would help me when they were "free". I don't understand why this salon gets such good ratings when the staff don't have the basic skill of customer service. Go to Tonyc @ Cambridge Centre or Gravity, you will be treated much better and your business will be appreciated!

I am still in disbelief and will never be booking with Bailey again. HORRIBLE customer service, and double books her clients. Mother of 3 here finally coordinated a day I could get my hair done and even had my husband get home early from work in Toronto . After driving for almost an hour in a snowstorm which should have taken 20 minutes, I finally arrived 25 minutes late at 510 for a 445-7pm appointment. When I got to the desk i was unexpectedly told they literally could not do ANYTHING because her next appointment was showing up in 15 minutes. So even though my appointment slot left was 510-7pm, that’s almost 2 hrs, they blankly stared and said there was absolutely nothing they could do. I understand I was late, so although I was booked in for a double highlight, I suggested we could do a single highlight in the almost 2 hrs that was left. But I was told that wasn’t even an option either. I have no problem taking my 200$ somewhere else and you probably should too, there is no shortness of salons that would love my business.

I have been a customer of Hair Loft 77 since this cozy Salon opened, I have been a customer of Kris since 2005, however all the ladies in the shop are phenomenal - always smiling and willing to help Kris with my thick curly hair ;) I have brought my 14 and 16 year old for hair cuts and styles on several occasions. Most recently my 14 year old had a style done by Lynn. It was the talk of the evening hands down. Everyone had something to say about Jada's up do! I live in Milton and it's worth the drive.
